some stuff I need to catch up on, but I will be sure to read it all.

Role-playing: Role-playing is when you
change/pretend for another role or personality to act with a role in something
social.

 

Meta-gaming: The act of using what
you know of a game to control your actions in the game in a generally
unsporting manner.  (being out of
character)

 

Power-emoting: Power-emoting is where someone
uses the fact that they are telling a story and uses it to their advantage, ex.
He punches him in the face and picks him up, throws him then kills him. (making
your character overpowered)

Full Name: TroubledAwesomeness

Sub-race (if any): Unknown, thought that his
parents were mountain dwarves.

 

Clan (if any): None.

 

Past / History (include childhood,
major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

 

When he was a kid too young to even talk his dwarf
parents were killed in a cave spider accident. He was found by a group of
humans and two of them wanted to raise him they taught him basic fighting
techniques and cooking skills also proper manners, when he was 12 some Orcs
found out the human group was holding a dwarf child and they captured and
threatened his parents unless they told them where he was. He got out with his
life and with a small amount of gear, also with the knowledge that his parents
were dead and had betrayed him. He left that village and watched it burn to the
ground.

 

With
human instincts he knew he was wanted by Orcs so he found himself the best
cloak he could find that would make him look human. He then worked as an
assassin, but not as a hired one or anything, as one that would hear about
someone killing innocent, and would kill the killer. One day he found someone
who used to be a knight, very wounded and poor. He decided to help this knight
and they lived away from most people in abandoned buildings always on the run.
One day they found a bag filled with minas, the knight was trusted with holding
the fortune and eventually, ran with it, he was betrayed… yet again.

Ambitions for the Future: To clear his name
of evil, and clear lands of evil. Also to declare his background dwarven, and
to get honour in his name so he’s not looked down upon by other dwarfs. Also to
be known, and to get rid of the evil thoughts and history that haunts him.

 

Personality: Has learned he can’t trust
anyone, Easily distracted, hates others as they hate him, and isn’t sure if he
is ever doing right, or wrong. He isn’t just a good guy, his dis-trustful
instincts show that a lot of the time he isn’t doing the right thing. He is
dwarf, but was raised by humans and he shows that a lot of human personality
has rubbed off on him, likes to be in the shadows.

 

Skills: Good at fighting, as long as he has a
sword, good with a bow and arrow, good with negotiations, his parents taught
him good healing skills, which herbs help and what medicine was needed and what
symptoms were for what.

your character: He has killed many innocents in his life, and wants to be
forgiven by the gods. He doesn’t enjoy mining, but when he does, he comes back
to the surface with valuable minerals.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds
of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine
you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable,
but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

 

Answer: 
I would run over the rock bridge as fast as he could thinking that would
help, and get to the other side. He would begin mining the diamonds as soon as
he could and if his pickaxe were to break, he always brings extra just in case.
After getting the diamonds he would most likely get lost in the caves wandering
off then have to dig a new way up

 

2. You are sitting in the local tavern
with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young
dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and
clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady
dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the
dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach
the young dwarf. What do you do?

 

Answer: I would walk to the men trying to
intercept them and get in the way, he would whisper to them “no,” and try to
disarm the one with the dagger, causing everyone in the room to backup he would
then take out the other one and stomp on them until they would be begging for
mercy, then he would stop, return the dagger, and leave.

 

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven
Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”.
You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a
huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

Answer:  I would react with a smile and walk over to him, he would take the ale, drink it
and pay for it with money he pickpocketed from that same man when he took the
ale. The man would say thank you and they would leave.

for 2 paragraphs" Ooh...Not the kind of thing I'd like to be seeing. Not only that, but you include no village/city/town names within your biography or the names of your parents! You need to provide us with names related to proper Anthos/Lord of the Craft lore. If you go to the top of the screen, you'll see a tab called "Gameplay." Click on it and then go to "Lore," and after that you'll know where to find DWARVEN lore. Read up on the lore for the dwarves before making another application and, perhaps, read the lore for some of the other races. Also, you cannot kill unprovoked. You CAN kill someone who has just hurt an innocent in front of you, therefore you may take action. But you cannot hunt them down for a long period of time until the point where your character catches them/kills them. This counts as a villainous action and you need to write up a villain application ONCE you are accepted into the server and have played for 1-2 months. And, yes, we asked for at least two paragraphs, but if you just try to do the minimum, then that shows us that you're not putting much effort into the application. 

 

-Your ORQ's should be at least a paragraph(5-7 sentences) long and include your characters making certain actions("Ford goes to grab the mug of ale from the bartenders hand") as well as dialogue between two or more characters. Your character talking to him/herself is acceptable, too. It is also preferred that you speak in third person limited.
