Horen sat at his desk in his private study he eyes where drawn to the words he was reading, reaching the end of the page he flipped it to the next, he looked up seeing his wife standing in-front of his desk quietly, his eyes drifted slowly until reaching hers he stared at her for a moment before uttering the word yes. ''Dear, I shall be writing letters to the children to come for dinner so that I may see them would you allow that?'' Horen nods ''Very well you may..'' Ari curtsy's before stepping out of his study, Horens eyes once more return to the pages of his book, before closing it.

Sophia descends the grand stair case, her skirts trailing behind her; the material pooling at her feet in a mass load of silk. In her hands she holds a book covering her face, nose buried deep within its pages as she absorbs every word. She would look up briefly, as she climbs down the stairs, making sure to not trip and continues her way through the palace as she reaches the bottom.

As she turns the corner she turns the page, not even bothering to look up. As she walks, she bumps into someone and looks up quickly, staring into the cold grey eyes of Horen. The book drops from her hands as she curtsy's to her brother, trying to keep as steady as she can.

"My apologies brother. I was not concentrating."

She carefully picks up her book, holding it in her hands as she waits for him to acknowledge her, her heat beating quickly in her chest.

When he finishes, Sophia breaths a small sigh of relief. She turns down several  grand corridors and heads outside into the gardens, moving as far from the palace as possible within the grounds.

The gardens were a beautiful place, with fresh flowers and green grass which seemed to stretch for miles. The warm summers sun beat down from the clear blue sky and the light it cast caused an aura of sorts, making the scenery bright.

Sophia walked  through the grass, taking in deep breaths and letting the sun warm her skin.

She found a small patch of woodland, the lazy sun breaking through the trees. She looked back behind her at the high walls of the palace and made sure she could still be seen if someone was looking for her. Carefully, Sophia lowered herself and lay in the grass, staring up at the sky above her.

This was one of the times she enjoyed, the tranquillity and silence around her.  She picked up her book in her hands and carefully felt each page as she turned them gently. The book was old. She had seen her father reading it prior to her and grew curious. She read each story within it, her heart skipping; some stories too horrifying to repeat.

It didn't take her long to finish it before she put it beside her and returned to staring up at the sky. She thought to herself about how quickly she had grown up; how it only seemed like yesterday she was a small child. She took a deep breath, her gaze focussing on the sky above her as it started to get darker with the setting sun.

Yes, she favoured times like these. Something nagged inside her that these times would become few and far between. Why not make the most of them while she could?

"Getting dark..."

Silus glances over to Sophia, who hasn't seen him, sitting still and lonesome on a bench at the side of the open meadow, beneath an old oak tree. He has been reading a book of knightly tales, simple by times, yet Silus likes them. A shudder drives through his body as he realizes the air is cooling off. A glance towards north tells him the cold is never far...

"Time to get back..."

With a sigh, Silus rises from the bench, glances at the book once and steps on towards Sophia. The grass appears to smoother his steps, as he silently approaches her from behind, to loom as a shadow over her. His mane of hair seemingly longs towards the ground, encircling his face, darkening it up.

"Cousin, we should head back. It's getting dark and cold. And I don't want Uncle to blame me if you catch a cold."

She was careful to fix her hair ahead of time, pinning it up into two separate layers of flowing blonde curls.

When she had dressed that morn she insured her outfit was entirely of House Horen's colors. Her dress was of a deep purple, made of fine silk embroidered with silver thread. The top formed a heart at the bust, with purple lace underneath which extended halfway up her neck. Her sleeves were a dark grey which lightened as they reached her hands, covering the back of them slightly. Upon her shoulders purple fabric dotted with pearls was gathered, and from this a long strip of see-through grey cloth, with a slit all the way up the front, hung.

((I blame gemmy for getting me addicted to doll makers.))

As soon as every curl was in it's proper place, one of her handmaidens pulled silken white gloves over their own hands before opening a lacquered, velvet lined box which sat on the Vanity in front of Ari. The Handmaiden lifted the Tiara with gloved hands, placing it delicately atop the crown of the Imperial Crown Princess' head. They wrapped a dark grey waist cincher around the Princess' waist, fastening it before stepping back.  She took a deep breath, steeling herself, then picked up her skirt in both hands, carefully walking down the stairs, for her Husband's study.

She dismissed her Handmaidens outside her Husband's study, quietly pushing the door open and stepping inside. As smoothly as possible with the limp in her right leg, she made her way to the front of her Husband's desk. She did not step close enough to see the books laying upon it, instead clasping her hands in front of herself and lowering her gaze to her feet. She did not speak until he addressed her, and upon her request being granted, she curtsied, exiting the room as quietly as she had entered.

She descended the stairs of the Dragon's Tower, making her way out of the Feast Hall and across the Entry Hall to the Imperial Guest Tower. She preferred to do her writing her where she could keep an eye on the Ladies in Waiting, and where it was unlikely for her Husband to keep an eye on her. She took a seat at the desk in the Master Bedroom, where she and Ryder had taken turns sleeping and caring for Thomas Chivay's newborns. She smiled gratefully as she picked up the Quill lying on the desk in her right hand, looking to her shoulder which Selina had so graciously healed. She penned several letters; One to Augustus Horen, squiring in the Rose. One to John Horen, off on some silly pirate related adventure. One to Alicia Horen, which she sent with a personal courier to fetch her from the manor Ari had her staying in until she was ready to meet her father. And finally that which would take her longest to write. One to Owyn Horen, her first born son. A request for him to finally be released from the convent and brought home.

The Letters were picked up from Ari's desk swiftly, delivered just as quickly. An invitation for her children all to return home; For a reunion that was long overdue.

Sits in the dining room still waiting for the dinner party to start, he sits reading a book about many of the Oren Navy Flagships, beside him are several more books relating to historical fiction on pirates and other captains of Oren, beside him he keeps his war hammer a favored weapon of his, he sits awaiting his fathers word to get ready for dinner although his current clothing of his long black trench coat, his black cocked hat with golden trims and his black leather riding boots, all with his white breaches will suffice for the reunion

John walks into the palace, having waited for his parents to leave their bedroom. He peeks around the corner of the Dragon's tower as to avoid his father, creeping gently towards the stairs. Once in his room, he locks the door and loosens his dirty white coat, taking a seat at his desk. He opens the large book on his desk to his bookmark and reads, taking up his practice sword left by the Noble Ser Black. Careful not to alert his family to his presence he steps lightly as he shadowboxes about the room. After two hours of training he sits in his chair and turns to his loyal servant Jeff who has been in the room the whole time, "May you get me something to eat and drink?" he ask, handing Jeff the key to the room. Once alone he sets himself on the ground and begins doing 50 reps of push-ups, followed by 50 reps of sit ups, 20 reps of squats while holding a two gallon bucket, and finally ending with 30 reps of pull ups. He dismisses Jeff after receiving a plate of fresh cooked chicken and vegetables complimented by a glass of wine. Sitting in silence as he eats, "I should run tomorrow." he says to himself before he rests his elbow on the table and reads. John blows out his candle light and changes into something more comfortable, sitting back down to ponder. Here he passes out while staring at the church he named Pinnacle.

Awoken by the suns smile he stretches and puts his clothes back on, sneaking past his parents as they sleep. He makes his way out of the palace to go on a morning run through the city, meeting all manner of morning dwellers. He stops off at his favorite bakery for just-out-of-the-oven bread where he chats up the clerk until his order is ready. He runs back up the hill until he reaches the festival grounds below the palace. Looking around before moving, he goes behind the roller coaster to his thinking spot commenting to no one on how they ruined it with the track. The bread was still warm as he ate it looking off into the endless sapphire ocean for what seemed like hours. John sighed as he got up, sneaking back into the palace to start his training.
