Slowly and tirelessly he walks around and picks up every last piece of paper in the room, finding them in all kind of places, in the gate mechanism, in the coat hanger and underneath assorted boots. After having gathered all of it he would stride into the kitchen and pour some of the sheets into the fireplace.

Why do you wish to join the Delvers?

I seek adventure and knowledge. To travel the vast lands in search of something I have not discovered before. Meeting new people and learning on the way. I also have a large interest in the magic section of the delvers but I believe I should work my way up through the ranger ranks to grasp a greater understanding on how it all works.

On this character not as of yet. This character has been working for Mayor Tuv in Abresi but nothing tied down to a faction or guild. On my other Elf character I was High Commander in Malinor for a long period of time back in Asulon.

A delve is a fall into knowledge and research. Intensively researching something and breaking a bone to discover more, if it's either research or adventuring. Like a deep search for something. A figure of speech example would be: " He delved into his book bag with intrigue. "

An amulet which allows one to access more of their mind to unleash much more knowledge power. It could guide them in more precise decisions or simply literacy or arithmetic. Something that unleashes ones brain.

Why do you wish to join the Delvers?

 

I wish to seek for Adventure, while tuning my skills as a Ranger. However I dont want to do it as a loner, and want to be apart of a Team. Perhaps even a disfunctional family. Also, it'd probably beat moving back into my Old Shack in the wilds. Fairly sure there's a Spiders Nest in my Pantry...

I was originally a Thief who wandered around the streets of Oren, Pickpocketing my way to success, however a few too many run-ins with the Rose made me join up with a Militant Group to use my Sneaking for a Better Career choice. This led me to become a Recon for the Noladrim.

 

We were like a Home-Guard for the Elves on an Island seperate from Asulon...

*Alden tries to recall the Islands name*.

Nope... Cant remember it's name. But it was part of an Archipelago of other Islands.

 

Anyway, after the Noladrim dispanded after a few Power struggles with the Sentinels, I then went to live off the Land...which in turn tried to live off of me. And that's about it up to this point.

Word Number 1. Trust.

If you can't turn your back on your team mates without certainty that they wont stab you in the back, you have to wonder why you formed up in the first place.

 

Word Number 2. Efficiency.

You need to be able to make a plan that works, and works well. It's all fine and dandy that you have a group, but if you go on an expedition and end up coming out with less than half as many as you started with, it may be best to disband for your own livelihood.

 

Word Number 3. Fun.

If you go around as a Uniformed group of up-tight troopers all the time, it's not a guild. It's just a smaller Army used for Labour. You need to be able to have a good time, maybe even a party after a good run. If you aren't enjoying yourself, drudging through work, while making a living...You may be in the actual Army or a Very Bad Cult situation.

An amazingly adventurous Guild that has no fear or regrets when tasked to delve into dangerous Dungeons, Uncover Terrifying Tombs, and Explore Perilous Pyramids, all for the advancement in finding Ancient Lost Artifacts which will help us learn about a past we may soon discover.

 

Split into Two main Groups with some exceptions, The Delvers seem like the Right way to go

if you are looking for Dangerous Dares in your Career. All of this is exactly what I would be

looking for and Expecting.

 

If you found an artifact and that artifact could do anything. What would it do?

 

If I found an Artifact, I wouldnt horde it for myself.

It may contain the last essence of a Demon Prince, and I wouldnt want that on my Concsience.

Besides, my Thieving days are over and done with.

 

No, I would turn it into my superiors when I get the chance.

If there are no superiors to hand it into, then I'll give it to someone in the Mage's section.

 

If thats not viable, then I would send a Raven to Home-Base, and guard the Artifact while day dreaming about how it may be a Demon Prince that would bring about the end of Time.

...That and dreaming about that one time in the wilds where I...um..well I wont go into my past..

Fun - if I'm going to be staying anywhere, it better have a clown.

Knowledge - no one wants to join a guild that doesn't know which way is right or left.

Connections - if you didn't have anybody to tell you where the loot is, you probably wouldn't have any. Unless you're lucky.

In your own words describe what you think a delve is: When you research something rather heavily. And or investigate, observe, if you will. I believe that's correct... Though I suppose it could also mean, to dabble. Or it could be used like..."he delved into the ruins." I suppose there's many ways to put it.

If you found an artifact and that artifact could do anything. What would it do? I doubt I will leave Ac'talarah much, but if I were sent to find an artifact, and did..I would hope it would be an important one. While I don't know much about magic, I'm sure an artifact that reads minds would be handy. Though I suppose it would take a person with a great mind themselves to use it. Were it you had your thoughts and the other persons' at the same time...yeah, it would be pretty hard. Unless this artifact was only made to pick up on certain things going on in someone's mind. In your own words describe what you think a delve is: There are many ways to use the word delve. In my opinion it means to explore or investigate something quite thoroughly. It could also mean to be curious or interested in our about something.

 

 

If you found an artifact and that artifact could do anything. What would it do? This artifact would store the knowledge of hundreds of past mages and healers who have lived before me. It would carry their knowledge on technique's and spells and anything they learned during their lifetime! And of course, I would be able to share it. The knowledge wouldn't be for me alone.
