Short Response for all Applicants, write how ye would respond:

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design, strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

Intrigued by the ruins, I would make my way into them, watching for traps and any other dangers. If I were to find any useful information (location of traps, ancient symbols, procephies among other things.) I would report back to the Delvers that we might bring more knowlegdable members to decipher, appraise or disarm anything that might be found with in.

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

I would quietly make my way to a table closer to them and try to make out what I can from their conversation. After gathering as much information as I could, I would alert the delvers of my discovery and would arrange for a trip to find this artifact.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a necromancer.

Knowing that it is no use trying to get involved with a fight such as this. I would stay back and attempt to learn as much about the so-called necromancer as I can. If I could gather the appropriate amount of information I would report the necromancer to the guards that he might be brought to justice, especially if he killed the masked man.

One more thing before you assess my application. I was told to tell you all that Nienna sent me.

Good day.

What combat skills have ye? Warhammers and throwing axes.

Short Response for all Applicants, write how ye

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,
strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

*Kairn unlatches a couple of throwing axes from hidden compartments in his sleeves.  Pausing to regret that he wasn't traveling by himself.

With A swallow of courage and the last swig of 'Azgoth Ale from his packs, Kairn descends into the mysterious ruins.

As the lights grow brighter and the odd sounds echo throughout the carved stone walls of the ruins, Kairn  Slides along the far  side of the hallway, trying his best to not be seen by whomever is lurking inside these ruins.

The mystery is solves as Kairn slides along his stomach unto a crumbling ledge deep inside the ruins. the lights and sounds are not the product of one device, but seemingly endless graves and coffers lining a pillared chamber deep below the earth. Readying an axe, Kairn Throws the sharp device with all his might. It bounces over several tombs, which immediately change their sweet songs to a mournful wail. Not waiting to bear the terrible consequences of his actions, Kairn High-Tails it out of the massive gates of the ruins as fast as his Short legs will carry him, yelling all the way for the Brathmordakins guidance.

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures
in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out
what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

Kairn idely sips on the fine brews available at the inn while trying to eavesdrop on the two gentlemen. The moment they rise to leave the establishment, Kairn follows them out into the dark night, waiting for the right moment to reveal himself. Just as he is about to confront the two hooded figures as they stop for quick meal of bread and cheese, a third figure enters the road from the shrouded forest. Remaining hidden in the tall bushes off to the side of the road, Kairn can here this conversation much more clearly. The artifact  spoke of earlier turns out to be a shard of a once mighty blade, weilded by an old king of the wilds, before their mysterious extinction. Kairn pops out of the bushes at that moment, brandishing a heavy hammer from his back.

"Ah c'n beh 'uv much use in recover'in this 'ere blade. So 'long's ah git a small share'oh loot."

The three hooded figures look between one another for a few moments, sighing as they realize there options are to fight the Dwarf in open combat or accept another hand in the reclamation of this artifact.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a
masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a
necromancer.

Kairn grips his hammer with both hands, shifting his gaze between the two argueing men. After a few moments of sustained silence as the supposed necromancer is threatened, Kairn Swings his hammer with a great heave and shout. "KWAAH!"

The 'necromancer' shrieks out in terror, holding his hands infront of his body as a meager shield, but the hammerhead never crashes down upon them. Instead the Hammer is stuck firmly in the ground. "Now, if'ah was ah bein''uv magical prowess. Ah'd sh'ure use it tue defend me'self in that sense. "

the sword wielding human lowers his sword momentarily. "Yeah, that does make a bit of sense."

Satisfied, he turns and hurries off down the path. When Kairn turns back to the supposed necromancer, he has already ran off into the woods. Cackling madly. "Uh oh..." Mutters Kairn  under his breath. "So much 'fir a gud call oh judgement."

He continues to search for the disturbing noises that emanate  the design. He hears another sound coming from within taking out his bow  and placing his torch on the wall acquiring a bow from his quiver , and then nocking the arrow into his bow. One of the hooded men replied in a very surprised voice, "ok...". Branaford slides to the chair next to them and says "So what have you two fine gentlemen been up to?" One of the hooded men replies, "None of your business." Branaford replies, "Well yes it is . You see, I saw you two very suspicious looking gentlemen walk into this bar, with a very secretive impression mentioning an artifact." One of the hooded men says, "Aye exactly, now piss off!" The masked man moves back preparing his sword saying, "That's it im killing ya!" the masked man attempts to charge Branaford but, Branaford moves to the side  and attempts to kick the masked man. The masked man is in the middle of charging seeing Branaford move to the side alarms him but as soon as he sees the kick he stops running and moves back. "I tell ya he was a necromancer!" Branaford replies, "What is your evidence exactly?" The masked man says "um..." Branaford in chuckles and says "Exactly..". The masked man says "That's im killing ya anyway." The masked man attempts to thrust Branaford to the right. Branaford lowers his back and moves his back and upper body to the other side of the blade. The masked man attempts to do a slash to the head. Branaford ducks with the blade slashing a tiny bit of his head. As soon as Branaford is on the ground he spins his right leg trying to make the man trip. The masked man tripped waving his sword while falling and then hitting Branaford in the leg. True name(MC name): Palandarus

Race: Impure High Elf

Yes, I do, as I would not be living without these three things.

All applying will be apply for the applicant position. However should you pass that stage what profession might you take on? Note that if you want to learn magic you must speak to a Delver Arcanist personally: Delver Rogue/Delver Shadow

What combat skills have ye? I have impeccable skills with a short sword, and minor skills with a short bow.

Short Response for all Applicants, write how ye
would respond:

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,
strange sounds and lights emanate from within.

"Interesting.. I haven't seen these ruins before.. I must explore the depths of them, they might hold knowledge on the Elven language.." Krenzen walks up to the ruins, unable to comprehend the marks upon the walls, he continues farther inside the ruins hoping to find a book or two to take back with him. Upon entering the strange sound ceases, as if the beans within died, or can hear him..  Further into the ruins Krenzen notices a small library with crumbling books, none of further use. He continues to trek onward into the ruins hoping to find information. Little did he know he was being followed. a small noise is heard behind him. "What was that.." Krenzen draws his short sword from beneath his robes hoping to protect himself. Upon further inspection there were undead following him through the entire ruins. Krenzen, with just a short sword knew he could not fend off all of the undead, so he decided to make a break for it, leaving the secrets behind. After leaving the ruins finally, the doors sealed shut, to never open again.

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures
in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out
what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

Krenzen mumbles to himself. "Artifact..? Interesting.. But I can't just take it from them.. Perhaps I should follow them to find out what this -Artifact- really is." Krenzen, who is good at spying and keeping hidden, follows the two hooded figures for a few hours before getting slightly bored, so he decided to confront them. "I heard about this 'artifact' that you have." the two men unable to speak attempt to attack him. Krenzen drawing his short sword, trying to scare or hinder them. Failing he attempts to move closer and ****** their bag and run off with it, on closer sight he notices that the artifact is a stone tablet and that he's even more interested in it. Krenzen runs up to the men snatching the bag and running off as fast as he can. Able to climb extremely well he jumps onto a tree and continues running upon the tree tops, finally escaping with the 'artifact'.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a
masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a
necromancer.

Krenzen, walking down the highway hears of this man claiming to be a 'necromancer' and is interested, he has always wanted to know how the magic worked. Instead of helping the hooded figure he stands to the side, out of sight to watch the 'showdown', he stays there as the necromancer does nothing, clearly showing he isn't the real thing.. "Shame, I wanted to know how they are able to summon the dead.. At least I think that's what a necromancer does.. I've only read about them." After leaving, the necromancer confronts Krenzen, as he did to the hooded man, asking for gold and various other items. Knowing the man was a bluff for a mage, he refused, and then threatened the necromancer back. "I know you're not the real thing, you can throw away your bluff and give me all your precious items and valuables... Before I do something Jurassic." Hoping to obtain something of value or something with information, he takes all the mans stuff and goes on his way. Of course, after looking through his loot, he found nothing of importance, a shame.

*A glowing blue notice has appeared on the post board:

Delvers,
Please attempt to maintain peaceful relationships with others around this fine realm. Making conflict with other groups risks our contained pursuit of exploration. The position of Delver public relations specialist is now created... a suitably fancy title for it shall be come up with at some point. Any interested diplomatically minded takers feel free to inquire.

In the immortal words of Artimec "Never piss off anyone who can visit us with an army."

As this fearsome illusion attests any Delvers that war monger, malinger, or make general saps of themselves  shall face my wizardly wrath!

*a shimery looping crude moving image of a figure seems to be upon the board under the note

Adventure is out there!

Varstivus stares at the notice, clearly frustrated.

"How is he to dictate us without even being here?!? We've had two Reagent changes, a slave in the basement, all our artifacts stolen, and we're attacked by Blackmonts for no apparent reason! Where has he been? How do we even KNOW it's Polgrath and not some other illusionist?"

Cyrus approaches Varstivus, laying a soft hand upon his shoulder "Polgrath is often absent, yes, but he is wise. He knows what is best for the guild. Though he leaves seemingly small, insignificant notices, they are not to be overlooked. Times seem rough, but he always has appeared when he is needed. Think of it as a test. He wants to see how well we respond to responsibility without his hand. Let us not fail him."

1.) You come across a massive ruin of ancient design,
strange sounds and lights emanate from within

Aengoth would walk up to it, quickly pulling from his back various tomes. His ink stained fingers tips fly through the pages as he looks for any sort of information regarding such a discovery. Finding naught but a few paper cuts he would pulls out another tome, this one written in with his own hand. With said tome he would write descriptions and thoughts that come to mind when of the artifact, and a few hastily drawn sketches of it as well. Anything and everything that Aengoth would consider noteworthy would be noted.

Hesitant to actually touch the artifact Aengoth would walk about the surrounding area, searching for signs of life (and death) to give any more hints that would do well in his tome. If an entrance were found Aengoth would light a torch and toss it in, not wanting to expose himself to unnecessary danger and exposing the interior to his view from outside.

Weeks would go by as Aengoth left and returned to the ruin if possible, studying it as best as he could throughout the time and guarding his findings from those who he felt need not know or were not entitled to know (If a member of the Delver's Aengoth would believe the Delver's to be entitled to his findings and the Ruin itself).  As time continues on Aengoth would become more and more relaxed with his findings if nothing interesting was to be found, inviting individuals to come and give a fresh perspective on the ruin itself. if this proved to be ineffective eventually Aengoth altogether would lose interest in the ruin itself, storing his findings within his collection of books.

2.)While at a local bar you see two dark hooded figures
in the corner discussing in a whispered conversation. You can't quite make out
what they're saying but you clearly hear the word "artifact".

Aengoth would listen quietly from him booth, mulling over a ale. Bringing out his own personal tome and writing bits of the conversation into it.  If the location itself were to be revealed Aengoth would wait a few moments before acting as if he had drank to much and make his way out of the establishment, then proceeding to make his way to the location described. Depending on how helpful the conversation is to Aengoth he would attempt to note any particular features of the individuals that he could use later to find them. In the scenario that he were to feel as if the figures were catching on to his eaves dropping  Aengoth would choose to act as if he had drank too much and become very rowdy and loud in his actions, finding his way out of the establishment so as to prevent a conflict.  Assuming Aengoth were a Delver he would give to the Delver's the location if he could prove its existence , and/or give them any noteworthy features of the speakers so that if they wished they could find a way of getting more information from the source.

3.)Walking down the Anthos Highway you come across a
masked man with a sword threatening a hooded figure, claiming he is a
necromancer.

Aengoth, having no particular need or want to become a vigilante type figure would choose to simply extract himself or avoid the two altogether. Having no interest in possibly confronting another magic user, or believing the words of one who to Aengoth would appear as some sort of vigilante or bandit (such individuals Aengoth having a deep distrust towards due to his experience as a royal guard in Solace). Once safely extracted and distanced from the situation Aengoth would observe from afar, noting features of the two he was able to discern, focusing more so on the alleged necromancer, and reporting the event and how it concluded within the tome. At a later point in time once able Aengoth would inform a leading figure in the Delver's of said event.
