Soon after being tossed into the dark room in the lone tower, she looks around, trying to peer into the darkness and see if anything can be seen, to no avail the tower is near pitch-black. She wipes tears from her face as she cowers over into the nearest corner, holding onto her knees. She sits there, waiting, hoping to be set free by someone.

A few hours pass, Rose hears the unlocking of the door, she looks up, staring directly at the door hoping to see a face of hope. The door creaks open slowly, light starts to shine into the room, as it flings open all the way her eyes widen as she tries to cower back more into the corner.

It was her only Son, Pertinax, dawned in his armor with his helmet removed he smirks down at her, making his way towards her.

Rose looks up to him her eyes filled with fear. In a quick moment Pertinax’s hand reaches out and grabs onto Roses hair, she lets out a yelp of pain.

he smirks at her, yanking her hair slightly as he kneels in front of her “You’re pathetic, You’re a disgrace, and you’re going to die alone.” he whispers to her, before spitting onto her dress.

He yanks her hair once more as he stands, releasing her hair she quickly covers herself from him. He chuckles as his fist clenched, wearing his gauntlet he sends a punch straight forward towards her head. Rose is hit, she falls to the ground and lets out a scream for help, the guards ignore her. “I hope your death is slow and painful!” he shouts out as he sends a booted kick towards her stomach, making contact as she gasp out for air, crying on the floor.

“Pathetic wench...” he laughs a bit, spitting on her once more. The door slams shut, she remains crying and gasping for air on the floor as the light fades away, the room turns to its darkened state once more.

Rose cries herself to sleep that night, hoping tomorrow will look up for her.

Days pass by, Rose gets no visitors as none knew where she was. She had lost weight and her ribs are visible, only have eating a piece of bread or two a day. Through the time Rose awaited in the dungeon like room, she had grown ill. A sickness on which was not one that came normally, but a sickness of depression and hunger. She had cried all her tears and gave up all hope of being saved.

More weeks had gone by, her illness was at the door of claiming her life. She looked towards the door, not a single visitor nor any shreds of light, unless it was when the door was opened for food. She rolls over and look down at herself, frowning she mumbled the words “I’m sorry...” she shakes her head, and sobs, yet no tears come out. She then turns to look upwards at the ceiling of the room, as if she was looking at the sky she began to speak to herself;

“I am sorry, for whatever I have done to deserve this...I wish I could take it back...I beg that you let me...” she sniffles a bit and continues “Godfrey...I am soon to be at your side once more, the only thing I have ever wanted in this realm shall return to me once more...” she coughs a bit looking towards the door once more “Sophia...Merida...Pertinax...I love you all...I am sorry I failed you...” she coughs more.

Rose finishes her pleads, rolling over on her side, a faint smile crosses her face as her eyes shut, closing for the last time.

Guards find her later that night, her body cold and her heart still. They take the news to the Emperor first, who merely waves them off, no care shown on his hard face. The guards soon proceed to pass the information on and word spreads like wildfire.

Sophia takes a deep breath as the guard bows his head, her hands beginning to shake. She shuts her bedroom door silently, slowly walking to her bedroom window, her chest getting tight as she struggles to breathe. A steady stream of tears begin to run down her cheeks as she slides herself to her knees, staring out at the darkening sky.  She must have sat there for hours, watching as the sky fades from day to night. Her mother had her faults and she had not been around for much of her childhood but Sophia couldn’t help but feel like something in her had died. It was still her mother. The mother that promised she would be happy and look after her.

Sophia shook her head again and wiped her cheeks. She looked at her mother’s worn and slightly tattered bag in the corner of the room, and shakily stood up. She picked up the back and emptied its contents on her bed. Usual objects rolled out such as a quill, some small sweets and a handkerchief but it was the envelops that layed on her sheets that caught her eye. With a shaking hand, Sophia picked up the five envelops. She read each name in her head and took in a deep breath. Hastily she put all the items back into the bag and put it back in the corner. She slipped on a cloak from inside her closet and picked up the letters.

Carefully she looked at each name again. Looking around her room, she went to her usual hiding spot and carefully reached up, fetching a small chest from it’s secret place. Inside; with her other letters she held dear and her father’s precious book, she put the letter for her new baby sister away; Secret and safe for a time when she was old enough. Slipping the small chest back silently she conceals everything away, leaving the room in its usual immaculate condition and turns on her heels. She brushes her cheeks of any tears, not wanting Horen to see them and question her. With speed, she rushes off delivering each letter to its rightful owner; her own letter safely sealed in her bag, ready for when she could open it in her Love’s arms in private.

After receiving the letter of the death of the belove'd Rose, he slumps into his chair; covering his face with his hands. The emotional pain unimaginable for him.

"Rose.. I am sorry.. I tried.."

Throdo reaches onto his belt to the hatchet covered in the blood of Pertinax. He glares at it for a moment and grips the handle harder. He sighs and lays it down onto the table, recalling his memory. Throdo whimpers quietly in the silent manor, remembering all of it. His beloved Rose was a daughter to him, and now hath she be gone.

"I should of killed him there.."

The door of Jullius’ manor snaps shut behind him, the sound
echoing through the desolate halls. He leant against the back of the door with
his hand pressed over his mouth. In his grief he wore an expression of contemplation
so deep and intence that it distorted his normally handsome features. To have
heard such things from Jason Clamedeus was insulting at best, and his initial
reaction of complete disbelief seemed laughable now, only for it to be swept
aside by Adeon who confirmed Jasons statement. And what a peculiar glance Adeon
Fableknight as Jullius swiftly brushed past him without so much as an acknowledging
glance. From there he had marched all the way from the White Rose Headquarters
to his home in Ascella, where he now leant on the door.

Jullius felt like bursting into tears of hysterical tears of pain and grief.
However, such actions were so far beneath him, he simply refused to falter. He
looked up slightly and imagined Roses smiling face. The image was so heart
wrenching that he nearly grinned. He began to shudder violently and slowly, his
thoughts began to grind to a halt. His vision clouded gradually, until all was
black and he could not see. Then his mind was filled of fond memories of Rose
and the time they had spent together. What should have been happy memories were
in this case nothing short of torture on Jullius’ mind. Though he refused to
falter still.

Almost all in the same moment, Jullius’ vision returned to him, and his mind
began to whir madly as it had before. He pushed himself off of the door he was
leaning on and began to pace furiously up and dawn his front room. He paced
this way and that at an abnormally long stride, as his thoughts spun rapidly
around his head. At this his voice came forth from his lips in little more than
an inaudible whisper, but soon enough elevated to monstrous shouts as Jullius
all alone in his manor ranted and raved to himself in a feeble attempt to
dispel his grief.

“It’s going to be alright. It’s going to be alright! It’s going to be
alright!!! It’s going to be just fine. Everything is going to be alright. I
have a plan for this. Everything is going to work out perfectly. I have a plan.
I have a plan. I have a plan. This is irrelevant, I have a plan. I will
continue as I have thus far and I will not allow this to jeopardise the plan.
This was the plan all along anyways, and there is going to be just as much
blood this was as there would have been to begin with. This changes nothing, it
doesn’t matter, and the plan will progress as time goes on. Everything is going
to be alright.”

Jullius then breaks into a maniacal grin, after having reassured himself for a
good few hours, and begins to laugh rather loudly as he continues to throughout
his manor all alone.
“I will not falter! This is a minor inconvenience! The
cards are all falling into place! The show must go on!”

Jullius then took several deep breaths in an attempt to calm himself down. "As always this situation is no different from the others, and can be manipulated to your own benefit Jullius. Do not trouble yourself, grief is beneath you. The solution will come in good time, so snap out of it."

"Now... to find that ******* Hawk..."

Pertinax emerges from his quarters with a yawn and a smile. He walks down the long flight of stairs until he reaches the bottom. The Palace is suspiciously silent, so silent that you can hear the wind blow outside. He walks into the throne room and raises his eyebrow at two guards standing before Horen on his throne. Pertinax strides up to the carpet, listening into the conversation interestingly. When he hears them speak of his mothers death everything around him begins to spin and his heart beats rapidly. He quickly takes off to his bedroom without a simple goodbye gesture to the guards or Horen. When he reaches his room he collapses to the floor and wails. He wails because his mother is gone, he wails because its his fault.

Hadrien de Sarkozy sits alone in front of his fireplace in an opulent burgundy armchair, his legs folded neatly. He unfolds the missive that had been sent to him, scanning over every penned word with heavy-lidded eyes. He gives the letter a miserly glare as if it had dealt him some great insult.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish, if you ask me."

He glowers silently, looking around to make sure his wife wasn't within earshot.

Henry walks the ground chuckling, having really no issue with Horen, other then the time he punched Horen's son in the face. Shrugging when he hears the death of his step-mother he says "She always made fun of me because I beat my fiance one time."

Silus opens the note in his office in the Imperial Treasury.

A silent glance, a flicker of disappointment and an otherwise cold and hard expression is seen on Silus' face. He sighs and lays the note aside, concentrating on his work again.
