Full Name: Elhand Trannyth

I hale originally
from the city of Aldesberg in Anthos Where I grew up with my father, mother and
my twin brother, our mother ran a market stall while our father was a
blacksmith. We lived in a small building in the market district of town. It was
crowded and small as we were quite poor. I had grown up always wishing to join
the city guard while my brother had always wished to become a merchant. So I
grew up sword in hand training in an old abandoned factory on the outskirts of
the city while my brother grew up training with the travelling merchants that
would come and go. Eventually we both got our wish, I joined the city guard at
the age of 19, my brother left the city to pursue his own goal the same year.
Over the next few years life was good as food was plentiful thanks to my
position in the guard.

 

I eventually managed
to secure the rank of sergeant I was well respected by my mean and a natural
born leader. One evening we were out on patrol when we spotted lights coming
from a long abandoned warehouse we all thought this strange has we had all
grown up in this city and none of us had ever seen any activity from that
warehouse, we went to investigate and as we drew nearer we begin to hear a
strange echoing chat, it sounded almost orcish. I signalled for my men to halt.
The cold air whipped through our armour and you could almost smell the fear
permeating the area. Eventually we mustered up the courage to investigate the
building, we kicked down the doors shouting “City watch, Don’t mover!” but when
we entered the building it was far beyond what even the most superstitious of
us may have imagined, four young children were tied together there muffled
cries echoing throughout the room, around them was a circle painted in blood
and around that stood four shrouded beings turned towards us, I stood there
sweat beading on my forehead my sword held high I mustered the strongest voice
I could “City watch, your under arrest” my men shuffled nervously next to me as
we none of the figures had spoken a word yet. I gestured to my men “Arrest them
now!” four of us including myself moved up to encircle the men, we quickly
threw handcuffs around there spindly veiny arms and hurried them out of the
building. The remainder of my men untied the children. I think we all left
there a little different than we were when we entered. I know I did for from
that day I have had an intense hatred for evil and all its forces stand for.
After that day I could not stand to remain in the city, it reeked of evil and
hatred. I decided to begin a new life in the city of Abresi, I signed up for
the guard there and I was very quickly offered a position in the chapter of the
lion where I still serve today.

To climb the ranks of the Chapter Of The Lion and
bring peace to land

a happy person but very wary of strangers, Dedicated
to serving his nation.

1.
Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily
making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good.
There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?



Answer: Elhands eyes scan the area searching
for the best route to the figure, he eventually decides on the head on
approach. His feet thud on the cobbles as a he runs toward the figure
"Halt!" he shouts as he nears the figure. He turns to look at him and
darts of into an alleyway Elhand gestures for one of the guards to follow. The
figure turns a corner and Elhand darts into an alleyway he emerges in-front of
the figure he stops and just as the other guards arrive he disappears in a
blinding flash of light. 





2.
Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in
which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed
with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily
armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather
armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?



Answer: Elhand spots the bandits and ducks
behind a tree, he silently draws his sword a shine runs up it as he removes it
from its sheath. He bounds out from behind the tree running towards the bandits
his feet make a slight crunching sound as they crush the grass, I jump just as
the bandit nearest to Elhand turns. he land on top of the first bandit and
slides his sword into his chest covering his blade with thick crimson blood.
The second bandit lets out an almighty war cry as the first slumps to the
ground, Elhand pulls his blade from the bandits body and turns to face the oncoming
threat. He blocks the bandits first clumsy strike with his sword before the
bandit comes back around wildly on of the swings slips past Elhand defences and
hits him in the shoulder. He lets out a grunt of pain before attacking the
bandit with a last powerful blow, severing the bandits head from its body. Panting
Elhand turns to face the old man just as he collapses on the ground “Are you
alright” Elhand says as he spots a gash below the man’s ribs, he quickly rips
part of his armour off and ties it around the man’s chest before helping him up
the man whispers “T-t-thank you, if you hadn’t come along I would have been
finished” I nod before escorting him to the city to seek medical help

3.
You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man
standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the
man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just
about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle
and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and
the discussion that happens).



Answer: Elhand walks up to the stall with a
smile "hello, I’m looking to purchase a sword, a new helm and a few
potions. He nods and pulls a sword from a barrel and looks it over before
handing it to Elhand "Crafted by the most skilled elves in all the
land" Elhand turns it over in his hands before returning it to the
shopkeeper "No thank you. I'll have that one please" he gestures to a
display case sitting behind the counter the shopkeeper looks at the sword
"sorry but that's not for sale" "1000 Gold pieces" Elhand reply’s
" I'm sorry sir but its not for sale" The shopkeeper responds with a
slight quaver to his voice "1500 gold pieces" Elhand says slamming
his fist down on the table. The shopkeeper lets out a sigh before pulling it
down from the case and placing it on the counter "Now I believe you were
also looking for a helm correct?" Elhand simply nods as the shopkeeper
takes a helmet from an Armour rack "name your price" Elhand turns it
over in his hands before he responds "250" He looks at me dumbfounded
"350" Elhand sighs and nods, the shopkeeper places the helm down on
the counter next to the sword before pulling down a potions rack "Now what
form of potion where you looking for? We have Love potions, Health potions And
multiple vials of poison" "3 Health potions please" Elhand
responds gesturing to the potions The man nods "100 each" He says
with a smile "50 each" Elhand responds without a hint of mirth in his
voice "60 take it or leave it" the shopkeeper responds sharply Elhand
murmurs something under his breath before handing him the money collecting the
items and heading for home.
