A Note Secured By A Stone On A Cloud Temple Bread Box

 Share

Recommended Posts

A note is weighed down by a rock on the lid of a monkbread box. It reads...

"To all who read,

I have just arrived on this land and am looking for work. My professions lie in the work of an axe and the work of fists. I can hold my own in combat as well as harvest the bounties of wood from the forest.

- Agro Hoch"

A man lies in deep sleep under a nearby tree with nothing but an axe and a half eaten loaf beside him.

Hunwald looks to the man, examining him. ((What race is your character?))

Agro rolls over, exposing his tan face and brown facial hair. As well as his rounded ears and bulky, muscular build.

((Male Human))

Seyer looks at the letter as he narrows his eyes at it and simply saying.

"Bloody valah sounds more like a savage than a being..."

Continuing to walk of to the Anthos highway.

Caln walks over to the note and scans it. Turning to see the man, he walks over to give him a little kick to wake up. Caln waits until the man wakes up, seeing he is obviously homeless.

'If ya got skills mate, I can test ya for the Rangers."

Merek looks at the man as he lies on the filthy ground. "Heh. Looks like what I did.", Merek says as he stands by the bread box. He walks up to the man under the tree where the shade blocks the scorching sun. He looks down at him as he sleeps and bends over to place a note. It reads: "We can offer a place to stay and a place to eat. Look for Merek Moonstrike in Schattenburg." With that he lies a loaf of bread next to the half-eaten one along with a scroll.

Peeking into the scroll, the first bold letters read: The Reformed Order of Vigilant Steel

A courier stops by the fellow. He holds a stack of fliers and appears freshly washed, perhaps only so that he could appear well for his trip to distribute these recruitment fliers. He secures a flier atop the previous note before promptly searching for more jobless men.
