~Who are they?~

((Totally Not Russian))

The Kozileks are a group of people from the far north. Akin to the
dwarves, these men and women prize their booze, their brawling, and
everything between. Generally, they tend to jump into affairs not of
their own, which often leads them into trouble. But they don’t often
find themselves in situations they can’t get out of. The Kozileks tend
to often start brawls and fights all over Anthos. But no matter the
conflict they’re in, whether or not they started it, they’ll definitely
mean to finish it.

This group is often seen handling bandits and criminals in their “own”
way. This usually includes throwing them in an arena with one of the
Kozileks, and letting hell loose. Despite their often crazy habits, the
Kozilek people tend to do what they can to ensure that the “good side”
makes it through. Their view on who is “good”, is usually up to how they
feel that day.

Kozileks are well known for their exceptional brewing skills. Legend
goes, they’ve even made a dwarven brewmaster pass out from their
alcohol. Amongst brewing, their hand-to-hand combat is one of their
highest regarded traits. They prize themselves on using only their
fists, which are often gauntleted or braced with brass.

Many years ago, a large family of humans lived in Oren. They drank,
they laughed, and they enjoyed life in general. But throughout the
years, as war ravaged throughout the human kingdoms, they moved north,
slowly growing as they did so. They formed a small village in the lands
they settled in, revolving themselves around brewing. As time passed,
bandits and the like began raiding the small village. Before long, their
very way of life was severely at risk.

The Kozileks would not stand for this much longer. Now a generally
large community, they began to put their men to test in a small arena
they formed just near the bar they so enjoyed. Soon, the Kozileks were
near masters at fighting with their fists. But yet they found they were
not yet prepared to handle the armed bandits that terrorized them. This
strove the Kozileks to move onto another people, a folk that shared
their interests. The dwarves.

A small group of Kozileks moved into dwarf lands, seeking knowledge and
wisdom from the famed dwarves of Kal’Urguan. These few Kozileks learned
of the ways of brewing and brawling that the dwarves had perfected over
their long lives. Not only this, but they took many notes upon the idea
of digging below ground for their homes. After spending many months
amongst the dwarven race, they returned to their homeland, where they
promptly began to teach their brethren the ways they learned, modified
to fit the Kozileks’ needs. Not long after their knowledge of fighting
was acquired, the bandits’ raids lessened considerably, due to the fact
that as soon as a criminal was spotted even near their village, he was
swiftly beaten into a pulp by a very angry Kozilek.

After solving their bandit issue, they began to focus on their
buildings. The dwarves had lived so many years underground,
successfully. Surely this was a wise idea for their village, they
thought. And so began the long and laborious task of digging into the
soul, eventually creating caverns, halls, and tunnels to house
themselves in. If one visits these tunnels, which are known as the
Sprawl, it is easily spotted that many hints of dwarven architecture are
implemented.

When the move from Asulon ensued, they were forced to leave their
homeland behind them. Now, in Anthos, they’ve become small groups here
and there throughout the land. But recently, a trio of their old leaders
have sought to bring them back to their unified state. By doing this,
they have essentially created a group of mercenaries. These mercenaries
often hire themselves out as bodyguards and assassins. They often
involve themselves in “dirty” business, like black market trading and
the like.

-OOC-

We do encourage making an alt for this, due to the fact that it would make
more sense, and your character would already be implemented into the
group ICly. But, if you have a character that is already created, and
would work well with this, you will be tested IC through what is known
as the “Kozilek Trials”. These will be elaborated upon in-game!

Somewhere deep from inside the village of Kralta, a shout is heard audibly through the lands of Oren.

"Remove Mongol."

Another shout is heard, this time louder and seemingly to be chanting.

"Remove Reds."

The last time shouting is heard, thunderous clapping begins and fireworks of red, white, and blue are set off in the night sky. Tears of joy and Carrion freedom flood from Hunwald's smooth skinned face.

"Remove Commie."
