I don't know if this is correct or not, but if it rings a bell to some people i'll go dig for the quote. Axlrose made the Adunian race, and in RP, we age as quickly as an elf until we reach adulthood, then after reaching said age (16-18 i think) we begin to age at the same pace as a human. Could be the other way around but I think it was something along those lines. With that all being said, I think the plugin would have to be very complicatedly coded in order to abide to aging lore wise. If I'm wrong someone shut me down lol.

Aging is in regards to year, that's what it means to age lol. The plugin doesn't go by physical age, but chronological age. It doesn't matter if you're an elf, a dwarf, a halfling, an adunian or a toad, if you're 5 years old you're 5 years old. The physical age is up to RP, but everyone will age the same chronologically.

ONE WEEK YEARS PLEASE

This.

The bulk of the player base that actually ages their characters do one week years, why are we changing it?

As we have stated on numerous occasions, the length of the year was never 7 days, those who aged that way did so either because it suited them best or because they saw other people doing so and thought that that was how it was. However, it is by no means the "bulk of the playerbase" that is aging that way, not to mention the fact once again that the same playerbase voted for 14 days as the popular option. This is not in dispute as, as Telanir said, the coding is already underway. We're not changing it because a vocal minority is against it.

How long is a full year IG? Sorry if it's in plain sight, still somewhat waking up.

Prior to this poll it was 12 days IRL, now it is 14 days.

Since my character was born in Asulon, his birthday came around every 8 IRL days. Couldn't he still physically age just as fast, no matter the length of the IG year? My human character is well in his sixties, and I'd rather age him quicker than leave him slowly growing old by the 14 day=1 year system.. So, with that, I'm assuming that I can still physically age him the same speed as I always have, and he'd still consider his birthday to come around every 8 "Elven" days since that's what he grew up knowing in Asulon. Aye?

You think a lot.

Character cards have your ages. If you are playing more than you have character cards for, there is an issue there.

I saw Telanir say a while ago that aging should be optional. So if it is as simple as /toggle age then you can update your own age or just let the years roll by.

I don't think being a VIP would award me more experience to play more characters :P I have 3 characters, two which are alts which I use for fun, and I am a non VIP so I only have 2 card slots. Also thank you, I do think a lot, maybe too much at times, I try to think in all possible ways, then get a few more :P.

If what you said is true and we will be allowed to age our characters like we want, then my 6 paragraph rant is pretty useless. would still like Alan's say thought.

I like this Mining plugin... are you planning on keeping it or do oyu think you'll find a different one? Because I think it really balances it out Since you wont have all the iron or coal ore, you'll get it randomized depending on the chance rate!

Oh good, slow child aging. This should help stop Orenian nobles from exploding population wise.... Oh wait.... Most just materialize in their late teens or 20's anyway.

Well, at least they have to age and eventually die, that'll even things out... Oh wait... We want to make aging optional... What was the point of a calendar again?

On a serious note, glad to see a real time system... Now we just need seasons :{D
