Power-emoting: Taking advantage of other players by creating a situation that they cannot defend themselves from through role-play. For example, someone who is power-emoting might say: "John fatally wounds Bill with his knife. Bill dies almost directly afterwards." As you can see, Bill had no way of combating this statement, and as it was a role-playing situation, had to do as stated and die.

Metagaming: When a person portraying a character uses information meant to be unknown to the in-game character while playing RP. For example: If a person has heard that a town was recently attacked, but their in-game character (who is meant to be oblivious to this fact) makes reference to the attack.
