-A Notice Of Sustained Purity-

A new notice is pinned upon the Lin'eraval noticeboard just outside the inn. It sways in the wind, tacked just above it is a pink dress sleeve, just the size of a little girl's. The note reads:

 

Citizens of Lin'eraval, today a great impurity has been purged from our city. Through the science of Alchemy and superior logical reasoning of a Mali'aheral mind, I discovered a blemish among our otherwise untainted community. The child, Lenniel, went into a 'bloodrage' and attacked a young boy in the streets. I promptly picked her up in an attempt to save the young Mali, and noticed her hair smelled of chemicals. I checked her roots and found them black and impure. Quickly, I analyzed this girl, and after much research and comprehensive study on ear and growth patterns, came to the conclusion she was, in fact, a blossoming tali'uruk. I took her in my arms,carried her to the top of our great enclave, and entered the laboratory bringing her down below to the pool of acid to do my duty. As she burned I could only hope that her death was quick and painless. This sleeve is all that remains of her now, and I bestow it to the cihi as a signet of our triumph over impurity in the name of the Maehr'sae Hiylun'ehya.

     In malinor, a small girl, with a pink dress arrives at the grove, Elphie walks along, finding the girl with one of her fellow druids. A  faint pull draws elphie to the child, her maternal drive compelling her to find out more of the child, after finding out the child has no home, no parent, she begs the druid to allow her to keep the child, the druid denies her, about to leave, child in arms when she sees the red in the child's eyes as she goes into bloodrage, not liking being picked up so roughly/

 

                                                                    "one of us...shes...one of...."

 

     Elphaba becomes frantic to gain the custody of the child, after much arguing and disagreement elphaba gains the custody of the child, taking her to her room. 

 

           "welcome to your new home,Lenniel" Elphaba smiles down at the child, With two tali'uruk children to raise she prepares herself for the newfound trials ahead, she vows to keep her child, along with lenniel safe, to raise them right, as proper tali should be raise, she holds the child, comforting her as she sees the discontent on her face

                                                                      "your sister?" elphie frowns "trust me sweetie, nature will protect her, she is safe, the air will guide her, the earth will provide a home for her, fire will warm her and water will calm her, its  ok, she is safe as are you"

                                       "i know, it isnt your fault, your not bad, its ok, ill help you so you dont feel bad, ok sweetie"

 

          Elphaba comforts her new daughter though the night, determined to care for one of her blood

Rilnaye, the older sister of Lenniel, was simply picking apples for herself and the small child, not knowing whatever could've happened whilst she was gone. The child whistles to herself, happy that she and her sister found a new home. Now, with a basket full of apples and some empty trees, she decides she returns towards the Inn, skipping along the path whilst humming a happy tune, but obviously quickly notices the note as she arrives at the Inn. Less than a second later, apples start rolling around on the ground, and the sound of a crying twelve year old can be heard. Rilnaye, now thinking that Lenniel is dead, cries on the stones in front of the Inn, which seemed like days for her, and could in fact be actual days, as the only emotion she currently has is sadness, and sadness only...

Many years pass, and Elphaba, determined to keep her promise to lenniel she dons her robe, puts the hood up, and in the dead of night, places flyers anywhere and everywhere she can around malinor and haelunor
