Regardless of what Oren considers us in character, we have declared what we are and as the rightful OOC owners of this section of land, we deserve recognition on any maps made.

Before I add Galahar to the map, I'd prefer to see an established claim. No matter how I do it, Oren or Galahar will complain, so I'd prefer to wait for an established claim. This meaning, if Galahar is recognized as a sovereign Kingdom by an existing sovereign Kingdom, and/or defeats Oren in battle in defense of their claim, then it will be added. 

 

These are the same guidelines by which I decided not to draw out an independent Delver state from Malinor. There's a claim, but it hasn't been recognized nor defended, and thus I do not consider it established. Sovereignty isn't just something you toss around, and the way I'm doing it makes it much easier to be recognized as a sovereign state than it would have been in medieval times.

 

You'll notice that this newest update contains "The Pontifical States", which are sovereign by these same standards. The Pontifical States were recognized and established by an Orenian edict as sovereign states independent of the rule of the crown. An existing sovereign state has recognized and established a new sovereign state, and so it exists.
