(( Somewhat graphic.))

Beneath the gleaming moon as the stars twinkle on a silent night. Upon the vast pine forests and mountains of the Dwarven lands, a farmer was arriving to Kal'Azgoth with bundles of hay. As he rides on his carriage with his horse pulling slowly along the stone snowy path, he whistles a tune to keep himself in comfort as he goes through the pine forest in night. As he passes through faint glimmers of torches posted along the path he always is in awe to take in the view of the land, though this moment of beauty was interupted when he caught a whiff of a foul smell. At first he looked at the stone path to catch if he spotted anything that would cause this smell, then he used what very little light from the torch upon his carriage to spot anything along the darkness of the pine trees, but he quickly glanced away afraid to spot anything in the dark. The farmer riding his carriage a bit quicker a bit paranoid as he continued to pass the flickering lights of the torches, though the foul smell was becoming stronger. As the farmer rode along the stone path and as the smell became more unbearable he noticed a dark red smudge on the snow near one of the torches which continued into the forest. Now the farmer knew what is causing the smell and decided to move away from it quickly, but as he passed the blood he couldn't help himself but wonder where this trail blood leads, and not only that but he couldn't cope with the guilt if someone is hurt. So he sighed and grumbled as he stopped his carriage and grabbed the torch tied along the edge on his carriage, and a short iron sword within a bundle of hay. He then headed inside the forest following the blood and covering his nose and mouth with his woven sleeve as the foul smell thickened. His heart pounding as he began to grow in fear to what he would find along his way, as he followed the trail of blood which seemed as if something was being dragged or if someone was crawling along. The trail stopped and a puddle blood can be seen, and as he put some light upon the dark shape he shook in fear as he saw a wolf dead, he then quickly moved his torch around seeing two more wolves that had died. As he gasped he waited to regain his composure before investigating the area. Moving around but still shaking he put his light to another figure and it was a cow but it was decapitated with scars upon its flesh. Gagging from the scene he looked away in shock, and his eyes turned to a hole which was pitch black, he then pointed his torch to the hole and he noticed that the smell was coming through it. The smell unbearable he stepped back and he tripped over the body of the cow, breathing quickly and yelling slightly as he attempted to get up immediately, the farmer notice a trail of blood leading away from the cow's body and a bit away from the area. He followed in the dark  with his torch near the ground and immediately saw the head of the cow as the light shined upon the tongue and nose. Disgusted he looked at it's head and saw an imprint of blood, and as if it was being squeezed to death, which was similar to human hands. Once the farmer noticed this he quickly rushed back to his carriage tripping and imbalanced from fear on the way. He got onto his seat and began riding quickly away from the area. As he can see the the gate of Kal'Azgoth in the distance, he calmed down for now he felt safe near civilization. Riding his carriage slowly now as he reached the entrance his worries over the scene was coming to pass until he heard a screech like no other that pierced his ears and terrified his horse which broke free of the carriage, and the carriage fell on the side of the road with the farmer. Getting up disorientated and attempting to find his horse, another screech echoed in darkness across the Dwarven forests and mountains, and another screech was let out. The farmer in fear wondered what it was as it became silent once more in the night.

((By the way people of Vaerhaven,  Kal'Azgoth and any other settlement within the Valley of Dwarven lands heard the screech.))

Gorum turns after hearing the sound. He then heads out into the woods as he felt the need to hunt some chicken and slaughter them, then he felt the need to shove the snow aside because he didn't want the blood getting onto the snow and evaporate, creating red snow, in which the Kingdom of Urguan would be living in a red field of snow instead of a white field of snow.

Because of this thought, Gorum took the nescessary percautions to avoid letting the Chicken spill blood. So he simply cranked the Chicken's head to give it a painless and swift death. " This is good chicken " Gorum says.

Wulfric is walking back from Storm's Crossing when he hears the screech. It was like no other he has heard before, or did he? He cannot remember... as if the memory was so faint, he couldn't quite comprehend what was stopping him from remembering. As he is unarmed and not armored he faces towards Azgoth, where he sees Gronkk and Delric eating snow. He sighs, walking by them, taking out his pipe with expensive pipe weed and wonders about what caused that screech, blowing question marks with his pipe.

As Kardel is wobbling over to the Karirdmarr, he notices the foul stench. "Ugh. . .dese beardlin's dunt knou wut a privy be?" Muttering some curses, he nears the doors to the Karirdmarr, and inserts his key into them. Just as he does so, the screech rings throughout the valley, startling Kardel as he drops his key on the snow beneath him. He bends to pick it up, making a loud "Oof" as he does so, his back letting out a loud 'crack'. Having picked up the key, Kardel stands back straight, only to notice a red gleam in the snow across him. With cave dwarven eyes to help him see through the dark, Kardel simply squints, and notices two furry figures lying next to each other in a field of blood. "Wolves at eht again. . " he thinks, as he opens the big oak wood doors to the Karirmarr, discarding his packs and making his way upstairs for dinner.

Morgrim stands outside the great gates of Kal'Azgoth, staring off into the night sky as a thick snow falls at his feet. A dim flame glows around him as he exhales smoke from a large pipe, filled with the finest of dwarven pipe weed. Suddenly, he hears the shrieking sound from off in the distance, as a cold shiver runs down his spine. Wondering what it might have been, he looks towards the road ahead, noticing the carriage trailing on towards him. As the blizzard begins to grow harsher, he shrugs it off as a figment of his own imagination and makes his way back inside, intending to warm himself off by a roaring fire.
