Bucky_24 132 Share Posted July 30, 2013 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As you walk down the road to Malinor, you can see a rather large crowd huddled by a nearby tree. On closer inspection, you find that they are all staring at a dead body. These days it wasn't uncommon for one to see a dead body. With the War in the North, and the constant bickering and skirmishes that happen throughout Anthos. But this body is different. It wasn't taken by the Monks, but left to rot. Why? As you move closer to the body you see that the figure is Mali'Ker. He bears a great scare on his right eye. But what stands out more, is the thirteen crossbow bolts that stick out of his chest. Those you would recognize the body, might weep. But all will know that today, marks the death of some poor man. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Azkott 21 Share Posted July 30, 2013 -Jon Wulfe walks down the road, noticing the body. He kneels by it, gazing almost incredulously at it. "Vuln..." He whispers, shaking his head softly. "The hell did you get into..." He orders the crowd to disperse, waving them off with a hand on his sword hilt, his Icy blue eyes fading to a grim grey from times past. He knelt by the bloodied Dark Elf again. "May you go to whatever Deity you praised, old friend..." With that, He moved his old friend's corpse to a shady grove, to rest under a tree, leaving him there without a final, pained glance. "What is this Realm coming to..." He mutters to himself, sighing shakily, walking off towards Adunia. Along the path, he couldn't help but notice... It didn't look much like the Vuln he remembered at all. Augor 142 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Rawrych trides down the road, the crowd scattering as they see him approach, as he nears the body, he takes a moment to look at the scene before him, not normally interested in corpses aside from those he killed himself. He realizes that it is the corpse of Vuln, his Dark Elven follower, some words rumble outwards from the void that is his mouth, giving all near pause. "It is a shame, truly. I suppose he simply could not handle the Truth." Rawrych turns, body screaming outwards in discontent, he continues down the road, not another word said. Bethykinss 158 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Beth walks down the road, while she walks down she notices the body and bends down to examine it. Sighs as she narrows her eye at the bolts. "Poor guy. Hopefully your death was quick.." Walks into Malinor, hoping that the body will be removed by a guard or a friend

~≈Panda≈~ 290 Share Posted July 30, 2013 Making sure no one is around, Mayumi draws her flaying knife and starts her work. With a dull expression full of no feeling for what she is doing, she starts with carving off the scalp of the dead man under the tree, and following with cutting his stomach open. After a brief consideration, she confirms the obvious; the heart and lungs are too destroyed to harvest. She quickly start pulling out the length of intestines on the grass like she was pulling a length of rope, and then fish out his exposed lover and left kidney. Taking out some wrapping paper, she wraps up the scalp for hair to use for her dolls, and the organs for later cooking. Mayumi carries away the wrapped-up organs and continues on her way, singing a song about waste not, want not. Bodies being so common place, there is no sympathy for the body, but his body will now live on for nourishment and entertainment.
