A Tree Has Sprouted...

The Druid of the Seed hums to herself as she passes along through Lenfarthing, enjoying the sights as usual. She passes through the field of wheat, enjoying the smell of it. The sounds of sheep and cows drifts down from the nearby hill, catching her ear. She strolls up to see the pen full of animals and smiles as they seem content enough... though she looks up and sees that they have no shade from the mid-day sun. She frowns at this, feeling sorry for the animals that must be so hot during mid-day. But then she has an idea!

She hops over the fence and walks towards the center of the pen. She pets a few of the animals as she passes and then moves to the center, reaching into her bag and taking out a pine cone collected from the evergreen forests towards the Elven lands. She kneels down and then digs a small hole, dropping the pine cone in and covering it up with dirt. She then takes several steps back and then sits down cross-legged, closing her eyes and beginning a meditation session.

After several moments, she begins to hum in tune with the rustling of the leaves in the wind, making an odd natural melody. The animals seem quieter than usual as she does so. Shortly green sparkles begin to float up from where the pine cone was buried and then miraculously, a small sapling sprouts from the spot! It continues to grow, reaching higher into the sky and begins to spread it's branches, offering shade where none was before, giving the animals a place to escape the mid-day heat.

The tree spreads it's roots into the ground nearby and unfurls it's branches beautifully, standing tall as a gift to animals domesticated and offering them better living conditions.

As a final gift, the Druid of the Seed focuses on the tree itself, green sparkles dancing across it's bark. She blesses the tree with Druidic energies, granting it a healthy life, allowing it to stand resilient to harsh weather, allowing it to live through drought or storm, and give it a resistance to rot that would normally plague an old tree so that it would stand for years to come if left at peace.

The Druid of the Seed finally gives a labored huff and then opens her eyes, looking up to the gift to nature's children and smiling contentedly at her work. She then stands up, walking along to the fence and petting a few animals on the way. She climbs over the fence again and then heads to rest in the wheat fields after her tiring work...

(( Edit: Gave it a bit of a touch up. Should look a bit better than the screenshot now. ))
