History Borne by accident to a mother who did not want her, she was left on the doorstep of a home in Salvus a few days after her birth. The residents were a couple, a man and a woman, who took her in and raised her like their own. They were very nice people, and were perfect parents. 4 weeks before her 11th birthday, a masked man broke into their house. The distraught mother told Rose to hide in a crawlspace concealed by loose floorboards and a trap door. The man killed the couple and stole their jewelry, food, and valuables, as much as he could carry, and fled fairly quickly, not knowing Rose was hiding under the floor. Rose fled to live with the mother's parents, who were extremely old, and died within 2 years of her living there. Rose continued living in their house for a little while, eating their food and using their leftover minas to buy more, until nobles came to check if the residents were alive. She scraped up all the minas she could find, not many, considering this family was pretty poor, and fled once more. She does not know her real parents, nor her original name.
