What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: - Main is Origin_Lark, alt is ask0053
How old are you?: - 16
What time-zone do you live in?: - EST

Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: - I have roleplayed before, currently I roleplay on this wonderful server called Lord of the Craft! I roleplay as the blacksmith Lark Steelwall who resides in Kralta currently. Everblue told me to use this application because there is currently no Alternate Account Application for LOTC due to the revamp in applications.
Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - Yup, but none worth mentioning.

How did you hear about us?: - I've been playing on and off the server since Aegis ._.
What do you think the server will be like? - Fun.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yup.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: -
  • Racism is allowed in-character, but make sure you don't do it out-of-character - it can only be towards other in-game races.

High Elves Master Race

Definitions

This is simply so that we can get an understanding of how much you know about roleplaying. Feel free to Google the answers, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not Google’s.

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is the term used for taking on a role and well, playing it to be put simply. One must keep in mind when roleplaying to separate OOC and IC feelings and to stay in character when roleplaying.

What’s metagaming?: - Using information your character doesn't know, or may never know In character. For example, Lark Steelwall is sitting in his blacksmith getting drunk when a friend tells him on Skype that he is being persecuted by the church in Abresi. Lark ICly, wouldn't know that, so if I went over clad in shiny iron armor and told them to stop, that would be metagaming, because Lark would have no way of knowing that whatsoever.

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is doing near impossible actions or very unreal or incredibly powerful actions that one's character cannot do, shouldn't do, or was totally uncalled for in the situation. Example of powergaming is if a bandit went to swing his mace with all his strength at Lark's head and Lark managed to catch the mace sustaining little to no injury.

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

What’s your character called?: - Salazar

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - High Elf

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 27

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Salazar had an unusual upbringing as far as High Elves go. For some odd reason Salazar was left outside the door of a library in Salvus that was owned by a young woman. This young woman had no idea why a infant high elf as at her door, let alone left in front of a library but being a young woman who had always dreamed of having children was gleeful at the chance of raising a child.

From his infantile age to his seventh name day, or at least when he showed up on the librarian's doorstep, Salazar displayed an innate curiosity and adept reading ability and almost seemed to be in love with his own home, spending days within the maze of bookshelves full of various reading material ranging from tales of knights and dragons to accounts of various flora and fauna located in Anthos. Salazar's knowledge of many things flourished during his early years, his curiosity never satisfied, always bombarding his mother with questions, who always took delight in answering them. Salazar's social skills however suffered since he ever rarely spoke with the other children in Salvus, mostly because of a little problem with his ears that he never paid much attention to until his teens...

Salazar's teens was different from the others that resided in the village for by his teens he had realized he was not a human child with unusually large ears as his adoptive mother had told him, he was an elf, and of the greatest kind, a high elf. Of course, Salazar's mother did not tell him this herself, she was worried her son would leave her as soon as he learned of his true race, it was only when Salazar came upon a book about the various races in Anthos did he learn and finally begin understanding the leers and gestures that were made towards him whenever he left the library. He was an elf, humans didn't like elves much, it all made sense to him now...

All the way into his adulthood Salazar spent most of his time in the library reading, when he hit his twenties, neither he or his mother was surprised when he stopped aging, it was at this time Salazar decided it was time to leave and explore the world for knowledge and understanding, as that was all he knew.

What are they like (personality)?: - Due to Salazar never really interacting with other people much, he is quite timid and cautious around those he does not know. However, when Salazar is comfortable around people, he sheds his timid exterior and becomes what his race is known for, an educated, snarky, and snobby high elf. Of course, he understands he is raised by humans and shows some sympathy towards them as such, for he feels piteous towards them for their short lives, and is saddened that they do not have the life spans to accommodate intellectual pursuits as he does.

What are their ambitions?: - Salazar's main ambitions in life are to become reacquainted with his heritage and expand his knowledge of the world. When he has accrued such knowledge, he has entertained the idea of teaching.

Do they have any special skills?: - Salazar is very deductive, able to discern issues or instructions that others quite don't understand. Salazar also has an aptitude for engineering, having great joy in creating small clockwork trinkets for his own amusement. Salazar would also have Asperger's Syndrome if he was in the modern world, thus giving him a above average capacity to learn then most.

What are their weaknesses?: - Being a high elf, Salazar has little to no combat ability whatsoever, he keeps a small battered dagger at his side to hopefully defer potential bandits and cutpurses from his meager and invaluable bag of belongings. Salazar, if one were to put him in the real world, would have Asperger's Syndrome, being somewhere near the end of the spectrum where he cannot pick up on body langauge and social cues, but can still talk to people and carry on conversations. Thus leaving some to believe Salazar is naive.

What do they look like?: - Like most High Elves, Salazar is tall, standing at 6'8" and has very light brown hair which has grown down to his shoulders. Salazar has green eyes and is very lanky, attributing to his height. Salazar is mostly seen wearing a brown or blue cloak with very little design. His skin is a pale color with the customary golden tint thrown in, some humans in his village when he was young used to refer to him as "Walking Candle" due to his waxy color that is similar to some candles.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - Like I said, this is a character that I have for myself as a secondary but I find him hard to play as he would be on the opposite side of Anthos of where my main roleplay is centered. I feel it would be a bit more convenient if I had two accounts to switch between as to save time on walking. Also fixed the age thing, I didn't realized I put the 1 there. Whoopsie :3

Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: - Temp skin Until mine is completed:

Pending for Alt Account name and skin screenshot. You have twenty four hours from the time of this post's edit to edit those in.

I'd also like to note that his age would make more sense if it was closer to twenty or thirty since there's a large time gap between setting off when he's twenty and now. But it's acceptable as is, just a personal nitpick.
