Va Changes

So as it is known the VA’s have taken to change. A lot in the application itself has changed.

Easiest to note is the sheer size of the app itself. Here is a what the app itself looks like now.

With all the changes set in motion we are not going to undergo a purge. Instead if you have a VA already you will need to make an account app if you go to make another VA.

Among changes that are not as easily seen is the removal of minor evils itself. Seeing as the apps now are significantly smaller it has been ruled unnecessary to keep them. Also with that in mind we had removed 3a (religious zealotry) entirely. As well as the evil 4b Corruption was removed.

Also we had removed the reference system. This has become a liability and in the end slowed down final judgement upon applicants. As many times we had to wait for their references if we planned on accepting them.

After all is said and done the reviewal times per app should be significantly cut drastically, which should lead to going through the apps much faster and leaving less headache for applicants.

Not really. A account wide application is pushing it a bit. That allows players to create characters on whim just to perform certain acts and could easily be abused, so I think the character application is well placed.

 

I like the new system for sure. I don't think we are ready for them to be removed, so this is a very good first step.
