Have you ever roleplayed before - if you have, how?: -  I have, but not for a while now. It was a fantasy roleplay server hosted by a friend of mine.
Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - No big name ones, just a small one a few years ago.
Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - I have http://www.lordofthe.../?hl=dakirennis I think a year is a good wait period between apps.


How did you hear about us?: - An old friend who used to play on this server. Not sure if he still does. (KkSoso)
What do you think the server will be like? - I hope it'll be a great community with friendly people who can roleplay well.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - I have nad I do.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I like the not having to permenantly kill a character when you die rule. I'm kind of accident prone at times. But I also like the idea of actually being able to bring a character back from the dead if they are perma killed. Searching for some elixer or spell to bring someone back can make great rp.

What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is creating a character and giving him/her a history and a personality. Then creating a world and a story and interacting with other peoples characters in that world.

What’s metagaming?: - Meta-gaming is learning outside knowledge then allowing your character to know this without the character having any actual way of learning it.

What’s powergaming?: - Power Emoting is basically God Emoting. It's acting without giving the other person a chance to react to your action.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - ((I hope me using my old app is okay))
Dakirennis' family were roamers, he was born and grew up on the road, just outside Normandor as a matter of fact. With his Dark Elven father Amarthelon and Wood Elven mother Liethla. They traveled from town to town with a small caravan selling pelts, meats, and herbs they gathered as they went. They would even stop along the way to help people, such as they day they helped a group of halflings fix a wheel on their cart, or the day they fed and guided some hunters who had gotten lost. "You don't need a reason to help people" is what his mother would always tell him. While on their way to Solace his mother passed away, after being bitten by a snake while gathering some medicinal herbs. Soon after her funeral his father fell into a deep depression which led to his alcohol addiction. As Dakirennis grew older he adapted to his father's new livelihood, the money he and his father made went to alcohol and any debts his father owed to other taverns. Dakirennis would usually spend the nights watching his father to make sure he wouldn't start any trouble, but usually he'd spend the night watching his father chat up the women. He'd usually take part in his fathers womanizing, up until the late hours of the night with them before retreating to their individual rooms. In the mornings he and his father would leave town early with their cart and wait for the rest of the caravan outside of town, usually to avoid their women from the night before, or to skip out on their tabs. This went on for a few years, but after so long the caravan got tired of it and so did Dakirennis. His father on the other hand thought he was living the high life. The caravan left them on their own after their cart's wheel "mysteriously" broke off. Before too long his father was almost constantly drunk and could barely hold his horses reins. Stopping in their usual inns became dangerous because of his father debt and tendency to start fights. He'd make Dakirennis go into town to buy him ale, sometimes he'd refuse, if so his father would wait until Dakirennis was asleep then sneak into town himself. He'd usually find him the next day in a gutter or behind the tavern passed out, but sometimes bloodied and knocked out. Dakirennis eventually took to wearing a new attire to make himself more intimidating so he could better protect his father from the people he owed and with the money he didn't give to his father to pay for his addiction he bought himself a sword. A sword that he had to use at times, as much as he didn't want to. He taught himself how to use it and when the time came he'd usually keep the sheath on to avoid doing serious damage. But even still it was too hard to take care of him, so he decided it was time to part ways with his father. While in Branborough, Dakirennis sold their cart, horse, and almost everything they had in one night. He found his father passed out under a tree near the inn. Dakirennis placed the profit of his nights work in his father pocket, as well as a letter to tell him why he was leaving and that he wished the best for him.
    Now, years later and in a new land, Dakirennis has become a wanderer, never staying in town for long unless he has a reason to. Though he tends to enjoy the company of other elves, tending to stay longer in elven villages because of his little contact with them from growing up in mainly human kingdoms. He has become somewhat of a less alcoholic version of his father, and normally keeps to himself. The speak when spoken to type, but tends to womanize from time to time. Now he just seeks to roam and meet new people as he travels the world.

What are they like (personality)?: - Dakirennis is the quiet type at first, eyes always alert, but mellows out around friends. He goes out of his way to help others, never expecting payment but welcomes it nonetheless. He enjoys working after doing odd jobs for so long. Such as mining, lumber, or guard work. While some harbor racism Dakirennis tends to look at the person instead of the race, feeling if you should judge then only judge one instead of all. Overall he is a hard working, loyal wanderer that wants to see the world and meet new people.

What are their ambitions?: -  His ambitions are simply to live and enjoy life, and to help his friends.

Do they have any special skills?: - Special? Not really, he's mostly an average elf. More a master of hiding than a master of combat after years avoiding debt collectors. He was never taught by a master swordsman, or learned his marksmanship from a ranger general.

What are their weaknesses?: -  Dakirennis is afraid of deep water. Stream, rivers and small lakes are fine. But deep lakes and oceans he won't cross without being in a large stable boat. He also has trouble reading. After growing up in a caravan learning survival more than schooling, he only has a basic grasp on words. Being able to read things like: "inn, tavern, or shop" and other simple words, large words are a challenge for him. But he strives to learn. And he's a sucker for good food since he doesn't get it often.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - His skin is a dark violet, with blood red eyes, and jet black hair that falls to his lower neck.  Because of his past with his father, protecting him from debt collectors and his bar fight combatants he wears black woolen clothes and a black fur cape with a grey fur trim and a mask to cover the lower half of his face. He also hides it because of the shame that he bears resemblance to his father.

Anything else you want to say about them?: - He likes ducks.
