    Many naturally unusual sights have become near commonplace in the forests of Malinor, from wisps of living fire, cultists on virtual parade... and more recently a feral Mali’ker with canine tendencies. The last begs question though... what influenced the behavior of this child? What makes her tick, and where did the tendencies stem from..?

    If one were to perhaps search deeper into this occurrence, they may notice more than one ‘creature’ prowling the undergrowth, but with a much more deliberate purpose... a hardwired need for survival, and ferocity to match this so called “Wolf Girl’s” ten-fold.

    As twilight falls and the cool northern air starts viciously into the landscape, you stand before a hulking black wolf, near five feet in length and with burning brown eyes.  The growls you hear are the least of your worries, a dark elven female adorned in nothing more than mere scraps of cloth soon walking to its side from a messily dug hole in the ground several meters away. Your sense of smell most likely drew you to this location, whether from morbid curiosity or concern for the environment, you now confront the source of the carrion scattered about the roads and littering the streams of Malinor and the surrounding area.

    As the wolf bounds forwards, you try your hardest to escape, turning heel and fleeing from whence you came as the sound of panting emanates from a source close behind. Out of the corner of your eye you can catch a flicker of movement distinct from the blur of trees and flowers, a humanoid figure leaping out from the brush and latching onto your arm, sending you off balance right before you hit the ground. Scrambling to your feet and shaking the snarling girl off you can feel hot breath on the back of your legs for but a moment’s more time, the sensation ceasing quickly as you continue to bolt.

    You send a glance over your shoulder as you notice a most peculiar sight... your pursuers have stopped in their tracks, the lead wolf standing at the opening to a flowered valley with the female elf close at his side... Regaining your breath you look behind you towards Malinor, and with but a final glance towards the pair, you set off as a dominating howl raises behind you and fills the air about with a haunting retort. Other howls join the air soon after, from all about you it seems, twelve in total if your ears were keen enough to discern the number, all but one distinctly wolven, many harmonizing with each other as the pack makes itself known to the outside world, for better or for worse.

*Notices of the pack’s presence are visible in the lands surrounding Malinor, half eaten corpses of cattle, horses, pigs, rabbits, and the occasional fool would be noticed with more and more frequency around the landscape, sets of tracks, both lupin and rarely elven in origin would also be notable in excess around marshier areas of the landscape.*

((OOC time!))

I suppose this could be a little rp thread introducing both Decolamb’s character and mine to the elven rp scene, Radahan already having gotten a preview of their rp >Here<. We will be focusing on providing both casual rp for those who [foolishly] pass through /our/ valley, and more event centered rp such as hunts... of many species :}

If you wish to join us in this experiment so to speak, and wish to play a wolf, I would ask you

to contact myself [Arzota] or DecoLamb [RustleLamb on the forums] with a few things in mind.

>First off, you're going to be playing a wolf, not a dog, get your priorities straight and don’t go around licking anyone’s hand that gives you food; bite that shiz!

>Secondly, it’s recommended you know how lupine pack structure operates, and you more likely than not will be playing an Omega or Beta if you are quick enough.

>Third and finally, wolves cannot talk [in any commonly coherent form], and therefore the meaning of  body language / vocalizations can be communicated through /tells to the rest of the pack as to keep things in rp... simple things like “Left” “Right” “Attack” “Food” will suffice as not to promote metagaming, with simple and often times broken sentences being the the limit for communication.

Again, hope all who encounter us and our potential pack enjoy the rp in advance, stay classy, and watch for wolves mate... they're everywhere.

Tl/dr;

A wolf pack is in the forests surrounding Malinor, if you want to play a wolf contact myself or DecoLamb.

Buubztik rides into the forests of Haelun'or, atop his Lur wolf, Bulgan. He dismounts, spotting some light tracks in an especially muddy part. He motions for Bulgan to see if he can find a scent. The massive wolf sniffs around, before looking back to Buubztik. He remounts Bulgan, allows him to control his own movement, so as to follow the scent.

The hunt is on.

((Post 100 hells yeah))
