Hello everyone,

 

I'm Dhalrun. Feel free to call me Dhal. I'm hopefully now ending my long search for a new game to call home. I'm actually new to Minecraft, so I'll have the double learning curve of the game itself and this great fantasy world you've all made. I've flown around a couple times and those buildings are as incredible as they are daunting! They are a far cry from my first 6x6 dirt hut on single player today.

 

I have a pretty extensive background in RP over the last 18 years or so. I'm looking forward to stretching my immersion muscles because I haven't played an online RPG nearly all year! I done just about everything from old school pen and papers through DnD through various MMOs. I've even done some work in short stories and novellas.

 

A little more about me, I suppose. I'm 28. I'm a graduate student and work in the non-profit world. I spend a lot of my time reading and writing and helping out in the community.

 

Here in Lord of the Craft I plan on playing a strapping good-natured young ranger with a black mark in his past and a growing obsession for forbidden lore. I'm pretty excited because I've had this character idea for a long time and I've totally left his development up to whatever comes my way!

 

So far I must say this server has made a really good impression on me. I love all the blogs and news postings, as well as the quality of input that I've seen everyone give. Hopefully I can dive into all the lore and start making a name for myself!
