Why Is The Server Still On 1.6.2?

First of all, I'd like to say that I love this server. It's been my favorite one for a year or so, and I really want to come back and play. The only problem is- The new launcher doesn't let you play older versions of Minecraft, which means that I'm stuck on 1.6.4 until a new update comes out. I really want to play the server again, but it seems like it's stuck on 1.6.2 for a while now. Can anyone inform my why it's like that and maybe fix this?

What? Just go onto edit profile and click on 1.6.2.

We have custom plugins and Bukkit is not yet updated, I believe.

I believe we are skipping 1.6.4 since it gives very few improvements for what it's worth, and would require all of our plugins to be updated - it'll be simpler just to update to 1.7 when that is released.

None of the custom ones, they have to be updated by the developers. As you've seen, they're waiting for 1.7.

Also a 1.6.4 bukkit build isn't out it's only a developer build not a full release it's not even beta yet.
