Rain beat down on the Ac'Talarah courtyard like hammers on an anvil. Tyrnal Grayleaf, sitting on the steps of the Arcane Delvers' Fortress, let the storm fall over him, a calming feeling to the once-nomadic Mali'Ker. He had searched for a human's year, searched for the one he loved, just to confess his feeling.

 

A year of search, a futile year. He turned to look in through the gate hall, and watched his happy Delver brethren, whom all found lovers of their own. In his searching, he had abandoned them all. He had nobody left, nobody, but her.

 

Tyrnal's eyes well with tears, but they wash away in the torrent. He turns, again, and spots his faithful steed, Mister Donkles, and stood up. The rain smashed into him as he walked over, pulling his gold-rimmed indigo hood over his face. He un-hitched Mister Donkles, who stared at him knowingly.

 

The calls of his friends blended with the sound of thunder and rain as he rode off into the forests;

 

"I will find her.", he muttered to himself.

Vierna watches the unknown rider pass her, she pulls the hood tighter over her head, picking up her pace "Wonder what he is off to do..." She continues on her walk, humming quietly to herself as the rain continues to pour down.
