A Dwarf And His Stone

A dwarf approaches the Mage's Guild college. Hidden among the mountains in the south-western part of Anthos made the college a great defendable location and gave it much secretiveness. 

 

The old dwarf wears a old black robes lined with brown cloth. If one was from the time of Aegis he or she would think that is was a Ascended robe, or maybe not. He walks up the steep steps using a staff made of pure gold. The staff looks wicked and corrupted, some would know this was the staff of Necromancer Jack, found in the ruins of the Wretched forest in Asulon, but for this dwarf he keeps it safe from the mortal races so they couldnt hurt themselves with its corrupted power.

 

On his back he carries a two handed hammer, thought to have once been the Hammer of Urguan but some magical 4th wall has since told the mortal races it is not, still magical in its own way the dwarf sometimes still has the strength to use it, either by his own muscles or some magical energy. 

 

The dwarf is flanked by two other strong built dwarven warriors. Others would know these two as the Silent Defenders, Alfy and Alfred Irongut, brothers of the old dwarf. They wear shining armor of the purest Iron found to the dwarves in the 1st era. Behind them they tow a massive floating object.

 

The three dwarves approach the college to be greeted by none other then Hiebe'e old apprentice, now Head Mage of the Guild. They talk quietly and they both agree on the mission the dwarf has created himself. 

 

The floating object is brought into the college and stashed away in the secret room. They unwrap the object and find it to be the one and only remaining magical nexus called the Kal' Verak, Mind-City in the dwarven tongue. The two dwarven warriors take up their silent positions around the stone and begin their long aged devotion of protection of their brother Hiebe and the protection of the Stone. 

 

Hiebe Irongut, last of the 1st Generation of dwarves from Aegis, Clan-father of the Irongut Clan, Lord Marshal of the 2nd Generation, Ascended mage of the Undead Wars, Creator of Holm, Defender of Kal'Dwain, Rebuiler of Karik, King of the 4th Kingdom of Urguan, Master Mage of Fire and Water, wielder of the Hammer of Urguan (before 4th wall), Weilder of the Staff of Necromancer Jack, Bonecrusher, Orc-Slayer, Oink-oink-er, Dwarf of Urguan, takes of his place at the base of the stone and enters his mediation once again. For now he waits for when he will be needed again for the mortals of Aegis-Asulon-Anthos.

 

(I give the rights up to the mage college to use the Kal Verak as they please, the three dwarves will follow the stone as where it goes to defend it from those who wish to steal it. Hiebe Irongut will rply vanish from the world as if he was misplaced. I love this character, my first in-depth one I have ever played. I could never kill him off. I have enjoyed all the RP that this community has given me, Thanks for the memories, go make your own out there.)
