jujutsu kaisen

thinking of all the anime i watched as a teenager and feeling regret rn 

if you like aot/demonslayer, then try jujutsu kaisen. My Hero I also liked but it’s super ******* tropey with the whole “i’m gonna do a 10 minute speech and flashback in every single minor conflict scenario” and it’s kind of annoying once you notice it. First two seasons r rly strong though. 

ik it doesn’t really count as anime but Avatar despite being directed to kids/teens is extremely good and thoughtful for an older audience. maybe on the node sometimes but it addresses themes like oppression, equality, coming of age, and censorship. Incredible show all the way through.

Personal comfort picks i’ll choose are PsychoPass i’ve been watching with a few friends (incredible show and incredibly fun), Berserk golden age arc (the early 2000s anime, all the others r ****), and gurren lagan which is like a gateway into evangelion or gundam.

Man, Code Geass, Chromed Shelled Regios, Fate series, and a lot of shows that I forgot the name of rip.
