Magdalena Anastasya, the previous Archduchess of Petra and mother to poor Alberic who had to deal with such a mess, read over the missive penned by a Charlotte. Her eyes flicked over the words and she’d coo softly. She would nearly toss the paper to her husband. Despite his needed time away from politics and the mess of the Commonwealth, Magdalena figured he would think this to be amusing. “It is odd to me how a man as useful and diligent as the once Lord Schwanstein could bare fruit as… rotten as this Charlotte.” “She asks for a revocation of charges by the Archduke. I do not recall her or her family being called to trial and simply being removed from nobility.” Her eyes were going bad, she was getting older… Her quiet ramblings continued to her husband who said no word of it as he read “at least I think that’s what I read..” ”I’d have seen their titles taken away for less. If I was her father, for the sake of the house I built and the blood I bled for it, would have already disowned the girl. The houses foundation can still be saved despite all the sewage she herself reeks of.”

My problem with Squakhawk and Spoopyduck They are both degenerates. For those of you who remember my Mod ranking post, my opinion on Spoopyduck has not changed, and all of the things mentioned are still true. I thought about doing an admin ranking, but I do not think it would be very good either, so I figured a standalone grievance post would be better to air out my thoughts on these two… especially together. You might be wondering what they did or why I am so impassioned about this, and it’s because… They think boneless wings are better. Especially Spoopyduck and his gaggle of “people” like @BoyWonderr @RingAroundRosey, and my best friend of many years, @glassyskies, who has turned against me. Personally? I think it’s pathetic and sad. Boneless wings are not wings, but rather lumps of chicken meat from another part of the chicken. It’s usually the breast, but nonetheless, that’s not a wing. They are sometimes shaped to look like wings, but have no bone or cartilage; the meat is different, and overall, so is the experience. If you go into a wing place like Buffalo Wild Wings or Wingstop and you order boneless wings, I want you to know that everyone in that building is watching you and thinks less of you. The only people who I think are justified in thinking boneless wings are better are those who have a phobia of bones. I know it sounds silly, but there are a few people for whom the bone grosses them out… like @ferdaboy. The hope is that someone might grow out of this when they reach their teen years, so here’s hoping Ferdakid loses that as he matures a little. Of course, this is about Spoopyduck and Squakhawk. Despite them spiting me, they are still my favorite admins… doesn’t mean they’re good of heart, though. In a call a couple of days ago in a friend server, these two jumped at the opportunity to dogpile on me with the worst opinion known to man… even calling for help from the team of goobers previously mentioned. I think, due to this malice and the terrible opinions they hold, that their power as admins on Lord Of The Craft should be put into question. I unfortunately have nothing else bad to say about Squakhawk in the slightest, but if you want more dirt on Spoopyduck, please refer to this again. I won’t beat a dead horse, but they are both extremely unfit to keep our stories, and our people safe. I am surrounded by fools and needed another opinion after being ganged up on within my own home. I wanted to hit Spoopyduck where it really hurts and call in Nick Apostolides - your beloved Leon Kennedy and the only one to have a Cameo - to back me up, but he was not available. So I called in the next best thing…

The Mother of Foxes There was no greater sound to the young fox than that of her mother's calls. Sonna was always so busy as the overseer of the Watcher's Roost; A leader, a priestess, and an Archdruid. As a child, Vayan did not mind her mother's absence as much fore she believed that there was important work to be done always. This was true not only of her mother, but her brothers and sisters as well. On the rare occasion they were all together, there was nothing the Vulnrith could want more. Nothing made her happier than being yelled at to be kinder to her brother, or being called for dinner. There was no greater love than that of which Vayan held for her mother the day she called on Sonnos. It was recently she explained it to a Dragon Knight, but she had held a sense of adoration that could never be recreated for as long as she was meant to live. Vayan watched the foxes they kept and raised gather to meet their Prince on the island. Her mother knelt down before the shrine they gave offerings to as the land shook below them. The calls of the vulpine rang through the forest as the towering Patron weaved through the large trees. It was there that he, this God, bestowed her mother with his verbal blessings. He knew her, felt her presence, and acknowledged her work. Sonna was his child, and he loved her... and thus the Fang of Sonnos was hers. Vayan could not believe it. Not only had she met a second Mani so early in her life, but her own blood was blessed by that whom she prayed to. It was all due to her mother, whom she could never stop loving despite their occasional dispute. The Vulnrith often wished to break free from her mother's image, but deep down she wished to be even a fraction as lovely as she was. Respected by the purest of things: Nature itself. There was no greater fear than that which grew within the little Fox as she watched her mother turn down the Spore Druid's plans. It had begun the moment her mother was lured into that space, and each little disruption caused for the aching pain to shoot through her heart. The darkspawn which lingered had threatened to kill her before the Spore had even pulled that Blessed Fang. Vayan did not know she would be there, and this was not the plan She had initially spoken out in hopes Sonna would recognize her and heed the warning. It was then that the Spore had plunged Sonnos' Fang into her mother's stomach, and Vayan witnessed her fall. The Blessing that she had watched her mother receive was the very thing to kill her. The arms of the armored figure at Vayan's side held her tight to keep her from intervening, her cries being the only thing capable of reaching her mother. ...Yet despite all, her final mother's final words were that of forgiveness and nature cried.

A SQUIRE OF THE PETRA “This journey is not a one-off process, instead being the sum total of many efforts spent aiding those within the realm.” Queen Adalia I, The Revived Order of the Petrine Laurel, 133 A.R.P Issued and averred by Their Highnesses & Atstana de Regne Petrère 216 HISTORY IS MADE THROUGH THE EFFORTS OF INDIVIDUALS, their work laying the foundations for what shall follow. Thirteen years ago did a boy no older than five wander into the city of Riviènse seeking water. He spoke no Common, nor did was he able to explain how he had come to be alone in his quest. The Archduke gave him his waterskin, the boy drank and thus a covenant of sorts was formed. In the years since, ANSEL, was taken as a Ward of the Archducal family, having been raised as a brother to their children. In time he drew strength from his Faith and the teachings of the Four Chivalries. As a Squire of the Petrine Laurel, Ansel has proven himself valorous in his conduct, placing the wellbeing of others time and time again, his body bears the scars to prove such. Amidst his generation of squires, few may at current speak of deeds equal to his own. Although such a practice as adoption has not been a widespread custom amidst the House of the Petra, an exception shall be made for this boy. Thus, per the decree of this writ, Squire Ansel, Ward of the Petran Commonwealth and Squire to the Petrine Laurel shall henceforth be adopted as a scion of the House of the Petra, so-named as ANSEL ADÉLARD TEMESCH OF THE PETRA. In accordance with Pétrine tradition, Ansel Adélard is named as the VISCOUNT OF MÉROUX As the customs set forth within the Third Catherinian Code, Ansel Adélard shall not be placed within the line of succession, by virtue of his adoption into the House of the Petra. Per the stipulations of the Salvian Inheritance, he holds not the blood of direct descent from Paul Salvian, and is therefore disqualified from the succession. Accordingly, to denote this status of adoption, Ansel Adélard shall be named as an honorific Viscount rather than a Count as is the tradition at current. O S A I N T E R È G N E P E T R È R E HIS HIGHNESS, Joseph Antonius Aurèle, Archduke of the Petran Commonwealth, Prince of Riviènse, Duke of Seviel, Marquis de Val d’Estenou, Count of Moere, Neraquelles, Temesch, Torm Marian, and Vallagne, Viscount of Mies, Baron of Eagles Peak, Garmont, Hrenthorne, and Resmore, Protector of the Meadows. HER HIGHNESS, Magdalena Anastasya, Archduchess of the Petran Commonwealth, Princess of Riviènse, Duchess of Seviel, Marquise de Val d’Estenou, Countess of Moere, Neraquelles, Temesch, Torm Marian, and Vallagne, Viscountess of Mies, Baroness of Eagles Peak, Garmont, Hrenthorne, and Resmore, Protector of the Meadows, Lady Emissary of the Salvian Bureau & Dame of the Petrine Laurel.

The Sparrow laid on a bed somewhere. Everytime Vayan closed her eyes, she would hear her mother's final words from her pleas to forgiveness. Pale eyes that mirrored her father's stared wide at the white wall before her. She heard the cries of Bolormormaa, the sound of her anguish echoing through the forest that she was now destroying in her rage. The sound of the blessed Fang of Sonno entering her mother's stomach replayed in her head. The only thing that broke her focus was the painful thrumming that came from her now missing leg, one taken by her sister in her penance. The Sparrow hated the Spore, the last trust she held for anyone now diminished to nothing. Despite the bed she lay in, what was left for her?

☾༒︎────────༒︎☽ There was a pressure so great on the shoulders of the little fox, one placed there by the people whom she loved most. Some days it was her guide made her feel the worst or her mother, and she would grow bitter and lonely under those endless canopies. Some days her mind would fill with a hate that shone brighter than anything, one narrowed in on a specific ungrateful, lackluster group of people. It was Nedai who had eased her mind, one of the few who she believed listened and assured her that she was not the violent dog they made her out to be. By then she had not had many friends, at least none so willing to sit with her and speak on what it was that festered within her mind. She held a great love and respect for Nedai, and she thought he was one of the greatest of druids. Of all the useless ilk she had to prattle with here and there back home, Nedai was the prime example of what she believed to be a good use of the gift. ...yet he was gone. For the first time in her life did Vayan feel true grief. It was a pain unlike any other, and with it came the knowledge that the war to come was going to be long, grueling, and deserved. ☾༒︎────────༒︎☽ If what she said was true, then Vayan could not stop fore this was a great loss to her.

That's very sweet you say that since I value my friends highly, whoever you're referring to! If you meant for that to be an insult, then I am sad to hear that since I don't remember meaning to insult you at all. Regardless, I hope this doesn't cause you to leave any druid discords again, but I hope you continue to feel welcome in the community since I genuinely love roleplaying with Treema, having gotten the opportunity to do so across multiple characters.

Me when I'm incapable of redacting roleplay? It's not that difficult of a thing to do. "Yall" is crazy, Having an opinion that doesn't align with yours does not mean make it evil.. You're leading this with feelings. Disingenuous? "Wrong again! Heh....."

There was tons of roleplay reasoning behind the deaths, some of which was even documented through nation missives. If that is the point you are making, then respectfully maybe this conversation isn't for you.

Nobody forces tree-lords to put their trees in a massive group of 3-4-5-6? This was a choice made by the players to all sit in a grove together. It was not the intention as stated to permanently kill a massive group, but the fact that they didn't do the one thing that is meant to protect the failsafe that keeps them from being pk'd. This would be a problem if it exterminated the population of tree-lords as a whole, but it doesn't, only the population YOU care about oocly. This is not even close to being considered anti-roleplay, still just a matter of circumstance that could have been avoided in the months of roleplay that lead up to this.

I truly do think it is in bad faith to paint this as anyone else's fault but that of your own. By reading the redline, it can be inferred that the seed needs constant energy for it to be viable, placing a lifeline in a chest to be untouched for x amount of ooc days behind a locked door is nobody's fault but one's own. I think it is disingenuous as someone who has been a villain role-player to come in here and make a post complaining about the fact that your character got pk'd because you didn't take precautions that are outlined in the CA you willingly took up. It is very apparently through discord chats and even posts like these that you're not angry over the roleplay happening, you're angry that you got caught and are deflecting blame. This isn't unfair, you just feel that it is unfair because you did not get your way, and I sympathize with you. It's not fun to lose a character, especially in a way like that. It was intended by the other party that only one druid was meant to be unattuned, and since the others were in close proximity that they would be attacked to, but not forcefully unattuned. To paint roleplay of circumstance as an ooc attack makes it clear that the druid community can't deal with villainy, they are absolutely incapable as made apparent the absolute storm of blame and finger pointing that has come out of roleplay. It was in good faith, because you were given a way to survive had you abided by the redlines. If you are unsure about the redlines, there are green tags who are there to discuss the lore with you prior. You can't paint the opposite party as evil, and then also try and use screenshots of someone engaging in conversation regarding a magic they partake in. I guess I better be careful when giving my opinions now that I am a druid, as apparently that means that I am an evil manipulative scheming dictator like Tavalicious and co should anything go wrong. I'm sorry if this seems harsh, but posts like this are just nasty on top of posting a perfectly normal conversation between you and Squakhawk. Are we supposed to mob against him? or the people who spent the months building this roleplay up? You don't want the lore changed, you don't want to make a stance, you just want validation and to point out who you believe the bad guy is.

I think it is fair to keep all of it as it seems to be something people are genuinely upset over. Unproductive memes that stem from distaste for a situation that is ultimately very shitty, and from an admin nonetheless. To delete things makes it feel like the team does not care about how the community feels regarding a decision made by an admin that isn't very transparent as others have stated. If hateful replies are in such an abundance, that should be pretty telling. If the questions seen are all similar, maybe another post needs to be made.

THE SEARCH FOR A GOVERNESS “So I am the Most High, and in pursuit of My Virtue, I bid My faithful this: You shall not be idle, nor forget your duties in favor of sloth.” Virtue 4:8 Issued and averred by Their Highnesses & Atstana de Regne Petrère 210 ✠════════════════⊱⟡⊰════════════════✠ AS YOUNG MINDS GROW, they must be put to purpose, learning of the world and its wonder, of its history and of its workings. As the children of the Archduke & Archduchess have grown older, it has become necessary to seek out the services of a governess, so that the children may be educated properly. Let it be known that the Commonwealth of the Petra seeks a governess, one good of heart, spirit and temperament who would seek to educate the children of the House Temesch of the Petra. Given the number of children requiring an education, should there be demand enough, two governesses shall be hired and taken into service in this capacity by the Archducal family. The duties in question shall be sought for six children in total, six trueborn sons and daughters of the House Temesch of the Petra and its ward. It is requested that any seeking to fill this position send a letter to the Archduchess Magdalena for consideration and to schedule a meeting, during which they shall be interviewed and assessed regarding their suitability for the role in question. As of the promulgation of this missive, the search and process of interviews shall last two Saint’s Weeks [2/07/2026], during which time all candidates shall be interviewed before a governesses, or governesses shall be announced at the end of this period of time by the Archduchess Magdalena. It is requested that any prospective governess possesses a solid knowledge of etiquette, faith and piety, geography and the arts, so that a wide breadth of topics may be taught to the children in question. Any prospective applicants are encouraged to include their age, past experience and reasoning as to why they believe they would prove suitable in their letters to the Archduchess. Those selected shall be afforded lodgings within the Palais Madelaine, alongside compensation in the form of mina, to be discussed and agreed upon between themselves and the Archducal family. ✠════════════════⊱⟡⊰════════════════✠ S I G N E D, HIS HIGHNESS, Joseph Antonius Aurèle, Archduke of the Petran Commonwealth, Prince of Riviènse, Duke of Seviel, Marquis de Val d’Estenou, Count of Moere, Neraquelles, Temesch, Torm Marian, and Vallagne, Viscount of Mies, Baron of Eagles Peak, Garmont, Hrenthorne, and Resmore, Protector of the Meadows. "Oh, please. Even if just one roach survives, then you will one day find a nest. I wonder if he knows...." Magdalena Anastasya, the once Valkonen, mused as she looked over the missive. "I am surprised. I could have sworn Karoslund was already dead, I could have bet money on it with my father." The Archduchess commented to her husband in passing. @Deets ____________ A young Kortrevich boy blinked at the missive, waving it around in his brother's face. He did not mean to actually show the missive off, clearly only doing it to irritate the elder sibling. @Tav

"The dwarves still have a nation?" Magdalena asked, having read the two missives nearly back to back with her husband at her side "Crazy." - "Well I guess they won't anymore, but I am still surprised."
