A monster hunter worth his salt, and then some. He was of the remant Vasoyevi, most likely the last, with the loss of his father, mother and sister, he was left alone. Thirty-two years of life. Thirty-two years of fighting back the dark: the Ghosts, the demons, the living dead, the blood thirsty vampirics. He stood tall against all of them. It is a cruel irony, then, that the end did not come from fang, claw or spectral necrotic bloodborn blade, but from a faulty test in the court of the Mechanikas, bleeding out in the middle of the room. A medical exam pointed out that he suffered considerable blood loss from where he fought a clawed beast the day prior, its claws having dug deep into the skin, and the usage of the tests which allowed him to bleed and bleed, having already losing a considerable amount and even if it was patched up, was not enough, and so, he perished. He was Kȁjatci, a monster hunter, anointed to such by his father and his father before him, but in that role, he yearned for something greater: the resurrection of the Vasoyevi culture, as Vasori. He poured blood, sweat, and tears into the attempt, he built walls, a keep, he farmed, he bred cows and chickens all in an attempt to provide a home as he called out long and far, gathering who he could from his journey. He put his people’s spoken words into writing, their lost language, their ways, their worth, even the small things such as how they present themselves at a table, how they wear their boots and the value of it, even the tall tales that kept him up at night, so that something might survive him. He never finished it and it most likely sits and rots wherever he kept the book. It was never found. He had no wife and no children. His battle brothers were his closest kin, forged beside him in the field, and to them he passed what he could: his teachings, his stories, his culture, offered in the briefest moments of respite inside of Valkryn. But the blood was his alone, Vasoyevi blood ran in his veins and such was gone now, spread into foreign soil as his corpse was mutilated for science. Perhaps the Vasoyevi were not meant for this new world of ours. Perhaps Almaris was the only place they could have truly lived and now, in those cob-web infested lands, where the keep resided as dust and ash, it is where it will remain. But he tried. God help him, he tried. He fell more times than anyone knew, and he rose every time. Until he could not. Hopefully, it is not forgotten. Rest well, András. You carried your people as far as any man could. ▣ ══════════════════════════════════════ ▣ OOC: a few letters were sent out To the Viharhozok To the remnant Valkrynians To the Mechanikas OOC: It was a wild ride of András, I genuinely did like the character and its a shame to see him gone. I hope whatever happens to Valkryn will be cool and fun, I hope that whoever picks it up becomes as invested in the ressurection of the Vasoyevi as I did, most likely not but who knows what the future holds. For now, I bid you all farewell and good tidings. ✿ ❧ ✾ ❧ ✿ ❧ ✾ ❧ ✿ ❧ ✾ ❧ ✿

  5. OOC Preface: Index Introduction Understanding the blood Addendum A Blood Caskets (Marrows) Addendum B Soul Shedding Theory Addendum C Addendum D Addendum E Addendum F Conclusion Blood, my reader, is the font of life. It is the life of mortals, for they cannot live without it, and here, within, is our work. In an attempt to expand the art beyond frail word of mouth, I have compiled my learnings into this, a journey for understanding the art in its fullest, so that you, reader, may only look upon my work and expand on it. To properly understand blood, we need to take a step into the medical field, though books on such were rare and oftentimes were biased, not willing to go to the required lengths to ensure accurate documentation. We instead resorted to experimentation, and like any good experiment, to ensure we do not go off track I have set up a series of Hypotheses to test against, these are derived from Verbal explanations and the current understanding of our people: Blood is generated from the heart. Blood has power, which allows it to fuel the body. This power, can in turn, fuel rituals. Like most experiments and dissections go, we did require a cadaver. Procured from the body of one who decided to disobey us, a headless corpse was used. In this first dissection, we seek to satisfy the first Hypothesis : “Blood is generated from the heart”, and if such is untrue, we will have to work and see from where it originates. As an initial attempt, we tried to revive the heart's function, first by mimicking its beat inside the chest cavity. When we do this, by simply pressing down on the heart, we could observe it does allow the blood to move through the Veins, though it should be noted prior to this engagement we did drain the corpse considerably to ensure we do not accidently go feral. While we did do this for quite a while, it would seem only that the blood was pumped in and around the body. This was indeed a strange notion, as observed in a different encounter, when the heart is forcefully removed, the Victim died. We know full and well a mortal cannot live without a heart and if the heart is just to move the blood around, it raises a few more questions. This did stump us for a bit until we contemplated the Very nature of blood, it moves through the body, it is the life of mortals for without it, they perish. Take old blood as an example, old blood dries up, it loses its potential and it loses its taste, this happens both when blood is removed from the host and when the host dies, so this can only mean that moving blood is useful, stagnant blood is useless, hence I do proclaim a conclusion of the purpose of the heart: “The heart ensures the blood does not rot” When we continued to dissect the body, we did note that despite the cadaver being emptied of blood, its muscles, its skin and its organs still held blood, a curious notion, as if though the blood seeped into it. This allowed us to gather more insight, when I asked an alchemist the composition of blood, he said air was one of the most prime regents. A Very strange notion, for blood flows like water through the canals of the body, pumped by the heart, it is like water, not air. However, upon closer examination I believe this statement is partly true, when we inspected the cadaver further, we could note a few things. For one, as we peeled away the muscles, the skin and tendons, revealing more of the organs all in an attempt to View more of the Veins surrounding the chest and stomach, we did notice a few things. 1. Veins lead into and from organs. 2. Everything held blood The Veins came to and from the Various organs, like a web from a spider did it move across the entire body, and at certain points, I could see entry points while with others, such as the muscles, I could not see specific entry points however when the muscles were cut, they did bleed. I made sure to cut around the Veins though a nip here and there was unavoidable, the structure of the cattle is Very clearly inefficient if their Veins leak so easily. None the less we carried on. The first notable connection point was the lungs, which looked akin to a beehive, Various holes were in its form as the Veins were connected to it, it was also connected Very clearly to the heart which means that the lungs, which from what we read in human medical journals, are meant to allow air to move in and out of the body, which is connected with the blood, this does make sense why human attribute air with blood. However the lungs could not generate blood. When we blowed into it, we could see the lungs expand tremendously. It was interesting to witness, amusing even, but the lungs do not generate blood. Next came the liver, which we discovered as part of a closed system of arteries, moving to and from the heart, as it seemed it did feed into the heart directly from the lungs as it seemed to also have a tube going into the stomach. This could only realistically mean that blood carried the essence of air, food and water. It stands then to reason that blood, when produced, requires these essences to properly function. Perhaps it is with movement, and proper feeding of these essences, that blood remains empowered. However this does not make sense, for there is no inherent power found within food, water and air. Otherwise a magi need only use bread to cast a thunder storm, a preposterous notion at best. No, it would seem these pieces of essence must then be worked somewhere else to ensure it can empower the body. Let us take an example of bloodloss, it is well known for the Vampiric kind that when we feed, the cattle will first start to exhibit symptoms of blood loss after we have drained a significant amount from their feeble bodies. These include weakness and pale skin. This means that blood is fed into the muscles and into the skin, which it then empowers, which allows it to move muscles and give skin that healthy glow, to signify cattle are ready for harvest. Now, the head also contains these Veins so it only makes sense that the mind allows for actions to be given unto the blood where such travels about, allowing the Veins to empower the muscles to move. This means blood may hold memories, dreams, emotions, mana, and there may be ways to unlock this if we manage to find what creates blood, for it seems that it picks up Various essences from outside the body to empower it. However this does not solve our riddle yet, what generates the blood? After we investigated more on the corpse, and following the Various Veins, we did arrive at something strange. While the Veins go into the muscles and the skin, it also goes into the bones, more so than most. As we cracked open the bone we found that these Veins move into the inner marrows. It would seem that a wide Variety of Veins go into the bone, and then back out. Assuming that each organ in the body does one unique action, a heart pumps, a lung breathes, a liver nourishes, muscles move and skin protects, bones seem to remain stagnant in their action. However the marrows inside seem deeply connected to this ideal. I hereby then propose that the marrows generate blood, when we cut into the bone, following one of the Veins we could see that the interior is squishy, much akin to stagnant blood, as if though it lays here dormant. Furthermore, unlike the other organs which merely flows through the organ itself, here it is full of blood. It is decadent, a treat even, however such is hidden by the thick layer of bones which guard the marrows, hence it can only be that the purpose of bones is to safeguard the marrows, to hold it like a Vial as it generates the purest form of blood before distributing them to the rest of the body. This is only furthered when you think about the Vampiric and their own connection to cattle, take what organs we share, a heart, the marrows, the bone, yet no liver, lungs, stomach or intestines reside here. This leads me to conclude that the Vampiric steal blood, only for their superior bodies to harness and use it correctly by pumping it through our marrows, hence why I proclaim the following: “The marrows hold the power, it simply shares it with the rest of the body to power it” Now to summarize what we have learnt so far, each organ holds a specific purpose, and is all connected with Veins, Veins which carry power in them. This power is called mana, lifeforce, genus, it holds Various names over the years but I believe the result to be far more easy to understand, the blood contains mana, genus if you would. However this same mana is absorbed by the body and may be pushed out at will by the magi should they be proficient, and hold light to wood. Take for example your common house magi, they have an accelerated way to produce and use the mana in their Veins, thus it means that a house mage may produce mana from their body which is made by the marrows. When this is considered it is evident that there is a cycle here at play, a method that uses the Various pieces of the world to produce mana. This however requires much more insight, thus my statement is incorrect, as I propose the following: “Mana can in turn fuel life” Now as a foundation, we have the following ruleset to work with and theorize with: 1. “The heart ensures the blood does not rot” 2. “The marrows hold the power, it simply shares it with the rest of the body to power it” 3. “Mana can in turn fuel life” It is here where I wish to propose a theory, should the soul then be kept somewhere on the body, it would act as a construct for which the blood is made. This gives us our personalities, which is present to the Vampiric mind (due to a much more keen understanding of our bodies) in the form of a signet. A signet is a collection of runes which I presume is then pushed into our bodies through genus, which originate inside our marrows. From here, the extraction of genus to mana results in a different concoction being formed due to the inherent loss of pure power. Genus is raw, which is in its essence uncontrolled. That being said, the idea is as following: As the soul is twisted into the body, it seeps in where the material is most stable, that being the bones, from here when such is bound it will slowly become Genus, this genus is by effect the most raw and powerful form of the soul, which in turn empowers the blood to give it life unto the body, and as any mage knows, this raw power may be extracted as mana. The Soul Mana Blood Here are the base alchemical forms of the soul (mine own), mana, and blood. These are written in alchemical forms to ensure we can represent the forms in their correct notation and understand the process Via an understandable and readable format, instead of just gibberish. With such in mind, here is the alchemical notion of what we coined the soul shedding theory. The entire process, as the soul and blood is combined to form genus, it can be drained to form mana. Now assuming this process is correct, it stands to reason that the user may in turn be able to use the mana then to cast their spells, from the common house magi to the Voidal mage, however a sanguine artist may in turn use only blood which is the most potent and uncontrolled form of mana or the soul. Now, the theory goes that as a mage casts, they use this mana and use the soul separation theory as they cast, which explains why they only have a limited mana reserves. However as it stands, we may potentially interject at either the binding process, or the draining process, going from genus to mana. Should we interject right here and make our own ritual, we should be able to bend the original intent of our blood and in turn, modify the internal powers and activate the runes by our Very nature and have such be an internal process. It should be noted that in the above alchemical notation, we are essentially stating (Blood + Soul) - X = Mana. X is most likely an internal process as mentioned here represented as merely the rune of draining. When we look at this, it becomes easy to explain the world. Mages produce genus which may fuel their spells, from fireballs to water whips, nothing is out of the question, as the mana produced by the marrows is enough to power these spells which we can confirm with the soul separation theory, which also makes sense why they are so weak, they actively use their own blood, their own bodily forces to produce power, this also confirms why a mage has such limited prowess. In addition to this, consider our own bodies, assuming we are merely a Vessel, we then allow blood to power us, it seeps into everything. From our muscles to our skin and organs, it gives a knight their swing, their movements and it in turn holds memories. Think back to the first time you hold a blade after years of training and subsequently leaving it alone, your mind does not say what it should do, no, your body does, and so, your blood remembers these events. And while the blood does not rot, it allows this to stay active, however how does this tie into undead and the like? We all have bones, we all have blood, some are just harder to see. Take an undead’s body, it is bones, yet no heart but it will have marrows, the marrows inside the bones remain active for everything in this world needs a power source, from the mechanical machinations of automatons to the work of golems, they require cores, oil, fuel. Similar to the bodies of mortals. Now assuming this, it would mean that our marrows are who we are, it contains our soul and in turn, produces a unique substance that changes who and what we are. In theory, we should be able to enchant and modify this process, take the curse of Vampirism. It is contained inside our blood, and when exposed to air, it decays in mere moments, this is to say whenever it is away from their host, it perishes. This ties in with the heart and means that Vampiric blood cannot exist outside their host and always requires a functioning heart. Now I want to detail an idea, what would happen if we were to modify the marrows? My mind is brought to the effects of material ensorcellments, when they are considered, we have a series of runes laced onto an object without it appearing, it simply modifies the object itself and is made active when blood touches its surface. In other words, we do not place an enchantment on the item, we modify it in its entirety, affecting its marrows, if it did contain them, and I believe we should be able to do the exact same with our own. Perhaps the rune of water when placed on the marrows will allow it to move between two states? However who is to say this is agreeable with mortal bodies, for will this shift be sufficient and could they keep each other alive? I am Very much unsure and studies must be done. However this does produce a theory, how do we place the runes specifically unto the marrows, for it is hidden deep within the bones. Well ingestion is plausible, for it is similar to the Vampiric curse, modify the blood and ingest such to modify the marrows of the mortal. Similarly if we were to inject modified marrow directly into the bone, by placing a syringe into the bone Veins, we could inject such deep within the marrows and modify it so. While the first and second seem plausible, the largest issue is how exactly do you modify the marrows without it incorrectly breaking the body? If you were to perform the first one, what is the exact procedure for modifying the Vampiric curse? While that is unknown, material ensorcellments can be placed on solid objects, but what about the marrows, assuming the marrows of an animal is used, when wet with blood it should in theory activate and in turn, if such is injected into the bone, would it mix or would it activate and cause devastation on the body? For such, I propose a next avenue this research may take: “The modification of marrows”: 1. “Can material ensorcelled marrows be injected and result in any immediate effects?” 2. “Can flesh ensorcellment be done on bone and correctly be kept alive?” 3. “Can you modify the Vampiric curse?” - By Varkul Radomavic

  8. Preface: This is a culture post yes, however due to the secrecy behind vampirism, the knowledge here is not known inherently and must be learnt through RP. "The blood is the life, and it shall flow eternal." -Vukosav Radomavic, The Father The midnight society is the aristocracy of the Vampiric world, not beholden to one central group but instead serves as courts that serve beneath the gaze of the elders. Though each court is unique in their own way, dependant on their sovereigns’ ideals, the general makeup of a court is aristocratic in their nature, that being a hierarchical structure going from elders to the bottom, which is cattle. Due to the midnight societies aristocratic nature, and their indulgence of blood, the courts are most sanguine and wrought with sin, from top to bottom for their people believe in the ideal that they are the top of the food chain, the heralds of a crimson age and by extent, lords of the night and no longer its mere children. Where descendants rule the day, the society rules the night and in turn, they are upholden to the precepts of the society and the rules of the eternal masquerade. It is highly regarded that the aristocracy are different, fundamentally another species and no more is it evident in those they View as cattle. In this sense, mortals are akin to beasts. Cow, Horse, Chicken or Pig, meant to be fattened up, harvested, worked and made useful. Cattle may arise through their meagre stature and evolve by simply accepting the Vampiric blessing should they prove worthy of such. Until then, they are hunted and slaughtered, those who have been corralled and been made subservient, may be marked with a signet to signify they are not to be fed from. To feed from a Vampire's cattle without their consent is considered a crime and will be punished. This branding may be done akin to how a farmer marks their cattle, burning or scarring such on the cattles flesh, but other methods employed, specifically to those they wish to uplift, may be given rings and necklaces containing their masters signet. Both thinbloods and the aristocracy may gather and mark their cattle. Those they wish to uplift or protect, are considered to be protected, and while they may not garner the same amount of respect as a thinblood, but a modicum of respect is given, either as allies or simply friends of the court. Considered to be akin to the commoners and peasants of Vampiric society, thinbloods are those who have yet to ascend and are treated as both commoners and lesser kin. Be they a lowly sibling or child who has yet to learn their footsteps in the world, to a rat which many do not care for, to be considered Thinblood is to be considered of low stature, however it is not to say they are to be disrespected, for in the end they are family, for they share the Vampiric blood in their Veins are are meant to be looked after. Though some perform deeds within a court and may be considered important, their stature cannot change until they are ascended. It is how a Valiant peasant may become a knight and then a general, they may command vast swaths of soldiers but are not considered noble until an elder allows them to ascend. In this time, the Thinblooded are subservient to the calls of the blood tax and are recommended to bear their masters signet, to show they are subservient unto their lord to others of the aristocracy. Those without a signet, be such a ring or a necklace, are considered to be unclaimed and without a just path in their life, might be led astray, as such, the aristocrats are encouraged to engage with them and bring those under their wing. The Vampiric high born are those of the thinbloods that have arisen unto a higher standing. The lords and ladies of their court, here they are permitted to do as they wish, unless an elder commands them to do otherwise. They may undertake a series of roles and may start to gather the thinblooded to serve them. As such they may lead lavish parties and feasts, masquerade balls that end in spilled blood or even evening parties that begin in such. They may devote their life to the study of the occult, the sanguine and whatever have you for in the end, they are just that, the aristocracy. They are permitted to do whatever they wish within a court as long as it does not break their precepts which is a baseline of the society. Think of this as a time where they may make a name for themselves, so that when the day comes that they may take up the mantle of sovereign, they are not a nobody without an identity. When a Vampiric aristocrat reaches a certain level of maturity, their blood allows them to sire more of their kind, to extend their hand unto those who wish to join the aristocracy of the midnight society. When such happens, they are allowed to exit their current court, if the elder approves of such, and take on the mantle of Sovereign. A leader of their own court, by extension they are not leaving the society but instead expanding it, however, this is not always the case, for if they do not wish to leave their current sovereigns court, they may reside below them or next to them, as a second in charge or simply, a prince assisting their beloved sovereign. The duties of the sovereign is unto only their court, and those directly beneath them, though conflicts may arise between courts, they must seek out their elder to in turn mediate the conflict, for the courts are not animals, but instead a collective society meant to assist one another. A court typically specializes in one section, where one court is meant to lead the sanguine rites, another may be more brutal, allowing those who wish to join a court, to have more of a guided path. Elders are the Vampiric who have sired the sovereigns and are considered the most aged and wisest of the court. They in turn have devolved from who they are and in turn, prefer isolation with the exception of the aristocratic. Rarely if ever showing face to the gatherings of the courts and only appear to lead or guide the sovereigns. It is by definition a lonely role but alas, one that is needed, for they are the judge, jury and executioner of issues between courts. They are the ones that must make sure the precepts are beholden to and are the ones that must in the end decide what is best for the society. In turn, the Elders are typically not beneath one court and do not have a court of their own, instead they rely on their sovereigns to assist them in such matters, whether it be the borrowing of a member to meet with a different faction or even calling unto one court to assist them in a ritual. It is a widely held belief that without laws, damnation will follow and as such, the precepts were made to ensure the denizens of the court do not go astray, and in turn allow the society to run amuck. ❖ Heed the words of those above your station. ❖ Vampiric life is sacred, ☥ Resurrect the fallen. ☥ Protect your kindred. ☥ Do not kill another. ☥ Monomachy is forbidden ❖ Understand that cattle are cattle, uplift only the worthy and feed on the rest for their dominion is our birthright. ❖ Fulfill the duties befitting of your rank ❖ Do not break the masquerade ❖ Heed the call of the Blood Tax ❖ Do not squander eternity, live unto the fullest The Vampiric society runs on a delicate balance, new Vampires may be made, new courts may be created, but to ensure stability across the bloodlines, they are all subservient unto their court and their elder. Where only family in turn allows them to stand tall and flourish. However stepping out of line rarely results in banishment and rather time based sentences which are to be overseen by either the sovereign or the elder. For each breaking of a precept, evidence of such may be given unto who is concerns, inside a court a sovereign reigns supreme and is expected to meet the law accordingly and with their own level of cruelty, however if the offenses branch off from a court and intermingle with another, an elder must step in to take swift action. These punishments may go from the usage of Aurum stakes and driving such into the hands of those who steal cattle, unto the public announcement of the Vampire and being swiftly banished until a time where others may forget their name and they have learned from their actions, or in Very extreme cases, setting them ablaze and rendering them unto ash for a certain period of time, usually undertaken in years. When the blood tax is called, those beneath their station are expected to answer. A cattle may willingly present themselves for a chance of being embraced and rising the ranks, a thinblood may in turn assist their master by offering either their own blood or by pillaging a city to gather supplies for them. Though the blood tax may be called by any who stand above their station, for example an elder may lay claim the blood tax on a city, similarly a sovereign, aristocrat or even a thinblood may do the same, the difference is who is expected to answer the call. When those above your station calls for the blood tax, you are expected to answer the call and provide blood unto them, in this sense the hierarchy is put into place where an elder expects all the courts to answer, a sovereign expects their own court to answer and an aristocrat may expect the thinbloods beneath them to answer their call. A concept which can only be described as ensuring that the Vampiric secrets do not leak out into the public. By which it is meant the names, abilities or even actions of the Midnight Society are kept secret. When a blood tax is called, assume the Vampiric guise, assume a different name and act out your darkest desires for if you are found out, it may remain so eternally. We only have two faces. Use it wisely. While we may reign as the eternal lords and ladies of the night, we must remember our roots, for our ascension was not given to us but marked by a thousand years of bloodshed. From start to finish, our blood holds stories that may never be sung and as such, it is our duty to make note of these stories, from the profane, which might be rendered warnings unto the uplifting tales of those who came before, to serve as inspiration. We must remember their names and their deeds, for the day when such is forgotten, is the day an eternal experience a true death.

  11. ngl, the aura of going from a lowly imp to a big bad demon is awesome and is perfectly in line with the infernal climb, I like it
  12. I read Gender instead of Render reveal and got extremely confused, but this looks amazing nonetheless!!!
  13. Even if the situation is reverted, the lore stays the same and gives a reason for more people to act in the same manner, Forced PK's are nonsense in my opinion.

  14. Just going to drop my opinion here after reading the lore overall, before I get into the thick of it, I just want to say its amazing work, the writing is clear and well thought out, the game mechanics are written in a way that provides synergy to the overall player experience and I am in love. From a normal players perspective this is a great piece, albeit a little heavy worded but if you are going to play the villain, you need a bit of extra guidelines to not introduce confusion, it makes sense and I like it... that being said My biggest grief is the PK systems. The idea of obliterating an enemy that has been causing you issues is fun, it gives you purpose, it drives the gameplay but we are doing this at the expense of an actual person. The idea of having a PK clause of any kind is for me deplorable and invites bad faith into your roleplay, we are here to play a game and have fun! not see if I can get Jeff to perma quit because he just achieved a long sought after goal and I dislike Jeff because he ticks too many boxes in my "I hate you list". Things happen, players leave and come back, and we are slowly evolving into a grown player base with jobs and lives, imagine pouring your free time into something you love only to come back after a month of worry, rent and bills only to hear that your beloved character has been slain because someone in the base "forgot" the door open and now there is no way to fix your character or even worse, imagine spending your free time achieving the goal of ensuring a person cannot play their character anymore, the very idea of looking at an actual person and saying "I am going to spend a literal year to ensure you go away" is horrid. Just forego the PK clause, it is not the community's choice to remove a bad faith player, that is the moderations' purpose and if moderation won't do it, go, spark up a debate, complain on the forums, make some noise, put the spotlight on them and if it still does not work, then understand that the system is broken and that moderation is not doing their job and that you need to go after them (or the other choice, you are the problem). I can however understand that this is a dark magic and that its flavoured as such. That in the end of the day, being evil is bad and there is a way to end your woe's by slaying your foe, that the triumph of the hero is described as the destruction of the villain but dudes, this is a game where you can play as the villain, where the lore is the gameplay and, a Pk system, is bad gameplay, uncaring if everyone else does it. It brings out the worst in us, it actively drives people away when we should be growing as a player base in order to not stagnate and die out. If a PK clause is truly needed and if it were up to me, I would suggest that if you are slain, become a spectre and whisper a method of resurrection into the hands on the common man, for what narrative device holds as much weight as the resurrection of an ancient evil. Make death recoverable. Sure, it gets annoying to murder the same villain over and over but it's a game and it should stay a game, if LOTC was a narrative device then why tf do I pay mineman tax???????? Please understand that I am not referencing anything, I just hate PK systems in general, they suck.

Valerius stood upon a cliff, gazing down at the villages, houses and finally, the city "It has begun" they simply spoke, various skeletal soldiers were by their side as they began marching upon the city, a new enemy has found their undying gaze... ...And they were ready to reap the fruits of their efforts
  21. This has as much love as the forgotten vegetables in my fridge.
  22. "Blood is the lifeblood of eternity, a crimson key to power—without it, I am nothing; with it, I am everything." The Blood Tax has been claimed, from Balian to Haense, from Lurin to Celianor. Soldiers have crumbled, mortals have bent their knees, offering their veins to the tide of eternal hunger, the very price of existence itself laid bare. "Finally… A worthy enemy." And yet, despite the success one stood out, one land of mortals DARED to defy the words of Valerius! One group has slaughtered their hordes of undead, for they have fought with such excellence that the Vampiric undead themselves did question for but a moment their own sanity, who were they to stand against Numendil, so brave and Valiant, a beacon amidst the mortal world. “They will fall” But for now, enjoy the fruits of your labor. A HEALTHY THANK YOU TO THOSE AT NUMENDIL!!! IT WAS AN AMAZING EVENT AND A REALLY FUN TIME.
