  7. i fully disagree, the national mines really did do the trick, however their issue is plain and simple, them getting locked off and with the food? dont you just live of voting bread?
  8. i vote to cover rents and the bread, the issue is not getting the mina from voting not at all, the issue is we dont have the auction house no more, nations locking down their gates everyday all day. Stopping any form of traffic to other shops, but however i would say adding some off the market stuff to CT admin shops wouldnt be a bad idea, i often peak around there to see if theres anything neat. And we do have local world edit building that takes the money out, then again if you wish to remove some mina from rotation add in the options to buy edit tokens, or even shop slots
  9. Ever since the first petty squabbles between neighbors, descendants have sought ways to annoy, inconvenience, and mildly sabotage one another without causing true harm. From tying knots that refuse to be undone, to whispering charms that sour milk overnight, such acts have been a quiet but persistent part of everyday life. These little vexations, harmless though they may be, have always held a curious charm equal parts nuisance and amusement. Overview Minor Cursecraft is a spell any housemage may be learn as a separate piece of knowledge, and in line with housemagic, this is not the grand elemental powers of the void, nor the esoteric dark works of the occult, but rather it is the art of low danger and high irritation, perfect for sowing distractions, petty revenge or lighthearted mischief. While many minor curses are simple such as causing a quill to run dry mid-letter, or a shoelace to come untied at an inopportune moment, skilled practitioners can weave more elaborate nuisances. These might include a door that refuses to latch no matter how often it’s shut, a map that always folds itself the wrong way, or the inexplicable vanishing of small but important items at exactly the wrong time. The power of Minor Cursecraft lies not in destruction, but in subtle influence, turning the ordinary into the slightly more troublesome one inconvenience at a time. Learning and Casting To weave a small curse or conjure a minor inconvenience, a mage must first attempt to bring forth their power from within as they wish, this may manifest as the player wishes, be it a chant, a witch and her bubbling brew or a ritual, however whatever method is used, it is in line with the mannerisms of housemagic and is fueled by their own mana. This can be learned from a tutor or from a book, there is no need to already be connected to the feared and the occult. Properties of Minor Curses Minor curses are not deadly weapons but tools of disruption, irritation, and creative sabotage. While they rarely cause harm, an unpracticed or careless caster may still find themselves on the wrong side of an annoyed victim or an unintended target. Lingering Influence: Once a minor curse takes hold, it often persists until it naturally fades or is dispelled. A squeaky boot, a mysteriously vanishing quill, or a persistent itch will remain until the magic wears off mostly within two days. Specific Targeting: These curses work best when crafted with a single, specific inconvenience in mind. Overly broad or unfocused hexes may fizzle, backfire, or take an unintended form. Physical Laws Remain: A curse cannot outright break the laws of reality; it cannot shatter stone, ignite fire, or summon storms. It can, however, tilt the odds toward frustration: spilled ink, drafty rooms, stubborn knots, misplaced items. Subtle Over Forceful: Unlike grand spells, minor curses thrive in subtlety. Their effects rarely draw attention at first, but can grow more irritating over time. Ease of Disruption: Most curses can be undone with simple countermeasures, a clever fix, a lucky break, or a counterspell from another mage. Their strength lies not in permanence, but in persistence. Duration & Range: Appearance: Many curses leave no visible trace, though some carry a faint ‘tell’a flicker of shadow, a whisper of sound, or a barely noticeable tingle that hints at the mischief at work, they are tools of quiet amusement, petty revenge, and the art of making someone’s day just slightly worse. Tiers: T1 - The Novice Curse Crafter can exert a minor amount of their mana to practise the weakest of curses on a person, at this state they require 5 emotes of channeling to fully grasp the art and is best used in tutoring of practise on themselves. T2 - The apprentice curse crafter is now more proficient. They require three emotes of channeling to give a curse to someone else. T3 - The journeyman Curse Crafter is now much more proficient and may imbue items with curses. They require two emotes of channeling per ability. T4 - The learned Curse Crafter is now nearly at the pinnacle of their craft. They require one emote of channeling per ability. T5 - A true Curse Crafter, a master of their craft as they are capable of casting their curse on a person from a large distance away. Curse Crafting Tier 1 – Beginner’s Petty Hexes The Itchy Spot Causes a small, persistent itch on an otherwise unreachable area (back, nose, sole of foot). Lasts a few minutes and can be scratched away… only to return moments later. The Slippery Grip Makes a held object feel slightly slick or awkward to grasp, leading to frequent fumbles or the need to readjust one’s hold. The Misplaced Word Causes the target to briefly forget a common, simple word mid-sentence, replacing it with a wrong or awkward one. Harmless but mildly embarrassing. The Uncooperative Knot Causes any tied cord, string, or lace on the target to slowly loosen or tighten on its own, forcing frequent reties or adjustments. Tier 2: Apprentice of Subtle Mischief Pebble in the Boot The target constantly feels as though a small stone is lodged in their shoe, no matter how often they check or remove their footwear. Drifting Ink Any attempt to write with ink causes the letters to smudge slightly or drift along the page, forcing the writer to slow down and correct their work. Phantom Draught The target feels a faint but persistent cold breeze on the back of their neck, even indoors, giving them mild irritation and distraction. Tier 3: Adept of Persistent Annoyance Whispering Shadows The target becomes aware of faint, unintelligible whispers seeming to come from their own shadow, distracting and unsettling them without revealing any clear words. The effect lingers Jinxed Trinket A small object the target carries like a ring, coin, or amulet starts causing minor, awkward mishaps. For example, the coin may always slip from their fingers at the worst moment, or the ring might turn cold and uncomfortable to wear. Slippery Step Within a confined area (such as a room or corridor), the floor feels subtly slick to the target, causing frequent missteps or near slips. The surface doesn’t actually become wet or hazardous but unnerves the target’s balance and confidence. Tier 4: Expert of Lingering Shadows Flickering Presence A target’s shadow appears to flicker unnaturally, stretching or shrinking out of sync with their movements. This subtle visual disturbance unnerves the target and those around them, causing hesitation and discomfort in social or tense situations. Tangled Tongue The target finds their words occasionally slipping or getting tangled mid-sentence, making it difficult to communicate clearly. This minor verbal stumble is unpredictable but frequent enough to frustrate the target during conversations or negotiations. Tier 5: Grandmaster of the Veil Veil of Misfortune A subtle aura clings to the target, causing minor mishaps and bad luck to follow them wherever they go, dropped tools, misplaced keys, tripped steps enough to frustrate without causing real harm. The effect is near-impossible to trace back to magic. Echoing Doubt The target hears faint echoes of their own voice questioning their decisions and actions. These whispers aren’t loud but persistent enough to seed hesitation and second-guessing, disrupting confidence in crucial moments. Phantom Itch The target experiences an intermittent, maddening itch on a random part of their body. Attempts to scratch or soothe it provide only temporary relief, distracting and annoying them throughout the day. Shifting Perception Objects and people appear subtly altered or warped to the target, a friend's face seems just slightly off, a doorway looks narrower creating a constant, nagging sense that something is “not quite right,” leading to increased anxiety and discomfort. [T3] The Act of Binding [T5] Hexes over a distance
