The shining beam of an ancient Alstion met that of Cecily. In her ascension to the Heavens the freshly deceased was welcomed by Eleanor, an ancestor of the prior. Seemingly the women shared close fates and had much chatter to do.

TO TAKE THE CLOTH; POVERTY-CHASTITY-OBEDIENCE To take the cloth; an idiom that takes the layman one step closer to GOD, as simple as it sounds it is not. This metamorphosis takes the fervent belief and transforms it into devoted servitude. You stay still as the priest repeatedly asks of you and with each promise you feel the love of the Creator. Yet in spite of your expectations that you are now in the vicinity of Him and everything is done. Your tribulations shall only begin as you learn to live pure and sinless. Some say the priests of the Canon are even tried more so as to forge the unshakeable faith that must be instilled in every heart of their herd. POVERTY-PAUPERTAS; This vow renders us cleansed from the sins of the material world and grants us spiritual richness. The simplicity of life is shown to us through which we realise that all things belong to the Creator. In addition we are taught to share and depend on our brothers and sisters in faith, freeing us from greed. Every day challenges us with the comforts and luxuries we are now strangers to, however this lack grants us time with GOD as we are not strayed by these same amenities. This is spoken of in the Holy Scrolls 2:10 – “And I am the Lord GOD without peer, and My joys are the holy joys, and My comfort is the virtuous comfort, and all the blessings of the Virtue shall fall before the righteous who do not indulge.” – we are told not to indulge in what we are extended, but through patience to await His comfort. By the right of history this vow may be rooted in the ancient times, when humanity lived plainly in disorganised tribes and were communal alike us. CHASTITY-CASTITAS; This vow is expressed through sexual abstinence and complete devotion of one’s heart and body to the Creator. Furthermore it is carried out by exterminating desires and thoughts that may sicken the soul. The clothing appropriate for a monk or nun is dictated to some extent by this promise, which sees to a modest habit. As a result loneliness may plague some monastics, but they must fill this hole with GOD’s presence. They renounce the marital union in exchange for spiritual communion, ensuing into growth of character and guidance by reason and love. Your body is the temple of flesh and via celibacy you guard it, achieving purity and union with the infinite. The refraining soul waits in silent longing for the heavens. OBEDIENCE-OBEDIENTIA; This vow submits us to His will, exemplified as a conscious capitulation of independence for the purpose of unity. However the same is not passive as it requires prayerful judgement and trust. The heart is liberated from ego and control and given the will. Equally vital is the loss of preference and higher regard of truth. It eliminates chaos and competition, both of which maintain the unity of the convent. The Exalted obeyed the Creator not out of fear, but out of love and it is this love that shall move you closer to the divine mission and intelligently, not blindly, surrender yourself. The Lady Alexandra of Aldersberg has flashes of the circumstances that enveloped the gathering as she laid in her confines. Many thoughts and tragic scenes went through her head, as her mind relapsed the charge onto to be wed couple. The hands of the juvenile were still gray and barely covered in ash, as they were used in shielding the immobilised Prince.

Alexandra of Aldersberg albeit absent for the particular occurrence had received proper recount of the story, she clasped her hand in prayer many nights under the altar and thanked GOD for his advocacy in the actions of Edward and Cecily. It seemed as the divinity that once showered the Apostolic state has returned with the coming of Prince Edward. "Amen." Her whispers echoed in the empty chapel, as the good word of the omen spread throughts the lands of Aaun and the other domains of the Canonists.

Good tidings, you are one of the more mental giants of law and government on here. Personally, somebody I had looked up to early on and from times still do or draw inspiration from. You are leaving behind legacies of work that would transcend your time on LOTC. I wish you lots of luck on your dreams and goals in life, which I truly hope you achieve. o7

Eleanor of Provins beamed as her grandson entered the domain of God, through the far distance she granted her nod of pride at what man he had became and was. Now for eternity John was reunited with his closest kin, to watch over and preside those other that were yet to meet their demise.
