  2. Tuzic awakes with a start, sitting up in his bed. "Hrm?" he grunts, crinkling his nose at the strange smell. - The forest dwarf sits there for some time... taking in the dream he had received in the night. "Silver ahnd Sapphire... curious..." he mutters to himself, standing and taking in the strange sights around his room "Bostone?" he wonders aloud as he dresses himself, rushing out of his stump to find he whom he had seen in his dream... and Auriel too.

ISSUED BY: Tuzic Mossborn ᛏᚺᛖ ᛚᛟᚱᛞ ᛒᛖᚱ A LORD BEAR AWAKENS ᛏᚺᛖ ᛚᛟᚱᛞ ᛒᛖᚱ BY THE WILL OF THE FOLK’S COUNCIL OF HEFRUMM ᛒᛁ ᚹᛁᛚᛚ ᛟᚠ ᛏᚺᛖ ᚠᛟᛚᚲ’ᛊ ᚲᛟᚢᚾᚲᛁᛚ For some time, the revered Bears of Hefrumm have hibernated - lacking the leadership of a Lord Bear who could offer them his care and guidance. But by the vote of the Folk’s Council of Hefrumm, a new Lord rises from his slumber. Thedmar Mossborn shall be named Lord Bear - effective immediately. Violence has come to our village in recent years, but Thedmar’s leadership will uncover a path forward toward the peace we all desire. Those villagers who wish to aid in the cause should reach out to the new Lord Bear. Narvok oz Dol’Vekaan - Narvok oz Thedmar. 11. ᛏᚺᛖ ᚱᛁᛜᛊ ᛟᚠ ᚺᛖᚠᚱᚢᛗᛗ The Rings of Hefrumm ᛏᚺᛖ ᚱᛁᛜᛊ ᛟᚠ ᚺᛖᚠᚱᚢᛗᛗ The working Rings of Hefrumm, while well designed in many ways - have often suffered from a lack of direction due to over complication in its leadership. This proposal aims to maintain much of the old system, while simplifying its leadership to keep work flowing through each of the Rings. THE RINGS ᛏᚺᛖ ᚱᛁᛜᛊ The Rings of Hefrumm will remain largely as they have been. As our village's workforce, the Rings will provide for the needs of Hefrumm. Through farming, gathering, crafting, smithing, brewing and more, the Rings bolster Hefrumm's growth and prosperity. Those who labor under the diverse Rings will be compensated for their work, whether through financial or other material means - by discretion of the Primarch. The Ring of the Topaz Boar The Topaz Boar is a symbol of joy, abundance, hardiness and versatility. This Ring will be responsible for gathering food and resources. Previously, the industries of farming, logging, fishing, butchery, hunting and so on, were scattered throughout the different castes. This Ring will refocus the efforts of Hefrumm to gather the materials needed for its construction and to feed the Forest Dwedmar. The Ring of the Ebony Beaver The Ebony Beaver is a master of creation, wise and prudent. The members of this Ring are responsible for supplying the tools needed for Hefrumm. From wooden buckets to metal armor, the Ebony Beaver does all. They also gather mineral resources. The Ring of the Golden Magpie The Golden Magpie is symbolic of wealth and intelligence. Culture often spreads through the efforts of merchants, and thus members of this Ring are tasked with running the shops and forming caravans to other settlements, to spread and teach the Forest Dwedmar culture through our cultural exports and crafts, as well as earn the funds to help the community of Hefrumm. Furthermore, some members of this ring have the knowledge and wisdom to refine fine alcohols, medicines and narcotics. All of which play major parts in the culture of Hefrumm. Ranks ᚱᚨᚾᚲᛊ Primarchs ᛏᚺᛖ ᛈᚱᛁᛗᚨᚱᚲᚺᛊ The Primarchs are those hard working and trusted folk of Hefrumm who choose to take on the role of leading the Rings, and striving to keep work flowing for its members. There are to be two primarchs, who will divide the work of running the three Rings between themselves based on their skill sets. Those who take on the mantle of the Primarch are responsible for communicating with, and organizing payment for the rings with the High Chief, as well as distributing it to laborers for their work. They are also responsible for recruiting new members from the village to work in the Rings, as well as organizing meetings and events for the workers to participate in. Lastly, the Primarchs are free to hire Custodians, to assist in their leadership. Custodians ᛏᚺᛖ ᚲᚢᛊᛏᛟᛞᛟᚨᚾᛊ The Custodians of the Rings may come in many forms, but their shared goal will be to assist their respective Primarchs - while receiving an increase in pay at the Primarch’s discretion. Custodians should be an expert in their respective work, such as farming, brewing, or crafting. These skills will be used to assist the Primarch in their duties, whether this means through being a courier for worker’s payments, assisting in the creation of important goods, the running of shops, or the running of events. There will be no set number of Custodians, however their numbers should be kept small - as they should be hired to assist just where the Primarchs find themselves lacking. Many possible positions could be taken, but the current list is as follows: The Custodian of the Soil The Custodian of the Hoof and Beak The Custodian of the Brew The Custodian of the Still The Custodian of the Ore The Custodian of the Earth The Custodian of the Shop The Custodian of the Caravan Laborers ᛚᚨᛒᛟᚱᛖᚱᛊ Laborers are the backbone of the Rings, and are responsible for carrying our labor as their Primarchs direct it. Laborers are free to work under whatever Ring most suits them, and will always receive compensation for labor given - the amount and type being at the discretion of the Primarchs. Those Laborers who show prowess in their work, and show leadership skills - will be selected to receive promotions in rank when needed. 12. "Aahh... such es sillehness. 'Is reign 'as onleh just begun, ahnd tha dwed's 'and was taken fer nearleh nothin. 'Bait of War' es quite ah strong term when onleh one side committed true violence... Seems some folk hold such hate fer tha Ire'earts t'ey can't bring t'emselves tew care fer t'eir own blood." Says Tuzic, shaking his head at the shower of negativity being spread through his home. "Bakir needs te relax... but te publicleh denounce ye own kin's leadership aftah such... sad... Seems even our most dear kin will turn te contrarianism when t'ey not get exactleh wot t'ey wanted." He says with a sad sigh, retiring to his stump.
  13. Tuzic Mossborn wipes away a proud tear from his eye "Look at em go!" He says, blubbering as he went off to hide his tears in The Brewing Stump.
  14. “Anothah missive written by ah ravin’ lunatic. By Yemekar folks are writin’ a lot today… and ef ‘e speaks wrongly of mah wife once more….”
  15. “Unable even to respond to the accusations of a blatant attack, and his people cheer him on. Quite sad, such blind loyalty.” Grumbles a typically cheery dwed from his home.
  16. “Hmmm…” Hums a blonde forest dwarf from his stump “Bakir acted recklessly but… the loss of a hand is certainleh no way to reply… ah can onleh ‘ope t’is es resolved…”
  17. "Seems maneh of our kin forget tha laws of Urguan. Ahnd now tha Goldhands stand te defend ah violent criminal while denouncin' tha new king? Disgustin' be'avior from tha Gold'ands as per usual. Ef onleh our kin could look beyond t'eir blind hatred of Epiphytes. Truleh despicable." Tuzic shakes his head, and walks off towards his stump.
  18. ᚨ ᛒᛁᛞ ᚠᛟᚱ ᚺᛖᚠᚱᚢᛗᛗ×ᛊ ᚷᛚᛟᚱᛁ A BID FOR A BLOSSOMING HEFRUMM! ᚨ ᛒᛁᛞ ᚠᛟᚱ ᚺᛖᚠᚱᚢᛗᛗ×ᛊ ᚷᛚᛟᚱᛁ EXPANSION ᛖᚲᛊᛈᚨᚾᛊᛟᚾ With our village growing rapidly - One of my goals as the High Chief is to work with the Folk’s Council, as well as with the Kingdom and the senate, to make sure Hefrumm has the room that it needs to build new homes and more. Whether this comes through expansion upon the nearby hillside - stretching off towards the Paladin Keep, or if it is through underground work. My heart swells with every new member added to our beautiful village, and I wish to make sure there is no lack of room for our growth to continue. The Rings ᛏᚺᛖ ᚱᛁᛜᛊ For many years, our source of income the Rings of Hefrumm have been bogged down by lack of activity - but especially lack of leadership. As High Chief I plan to work tirelessly to find and train the suitable leaders we will need to make the Rings blossom, as I have done in Yemekar’s Workforce within the capital. Along with such, I plan to work with these new leaders to discover the problems within our Rings, so that it can be made to run efficiently, and effectively. To keep up our growth, a source of minas is essential for Dol’Vekaan, for the purchasing of needed lands, and for the general prosperity of our folk. As High Chief, I aim to work with the Folk’s Council to bolster Hefrumm’s trade, allowing work created by the Rings to be sold throughout the Kingdom of Urguan, as well as abroad in the various Nations of Aevos. The Bears ᛏᚺᛖ ᛒᛖᚱᛊ The defense of Hefrumm is critical, especially as we find ourselves in new lands. I will dedicate my leadership to helping our folk organize the Bears of Hefrumm here in Aevos. Organized military activity needs to be encouraged, and the operation of the gates needs to be taught to those ready to defend Dol’Vekaan. Much like the Rings, it is time for new leaders to emerge within our ranks. I intend to be a guide to those who wish to lead, and to work with their kin to guarantee the thriving of our Village upon Aevos. The Seers ᛏᚺᛖ ᛊᛖᛖᚱᛊ The guidance of the Brathmordakin is needed in Hefrumm more than ever as we settle into our new home. As High Chief I intend to work closely with my kin in the Seers Council to encourage the teaching and practice of our worship. Along with such, new places of worship must be constructed. In Almaris, the path of the gods upon the mountain top was a suitable place for the vivid visions of the seers; yet in Aevos such a place has yet to be established. As such, I will push for our folk to build magnificent shrines to the Brathmordakin upon the cliffs of Hefrumm, such that the forest folk may have these places of worship into the future. Signed, Tuzic Mossborn, Prophet of Ogradhad, Seer of Hefrumm, Head of Hefrumm’s Library, Grand Librarian, Elder of The Mossborn
  19. My friends, and my kin, for many years I’ve run the Workforce as Yemekar’s Pick. The Workforce I received was plagued by inactivity, and over the decades I’ve been pleased to see its numbers swell with dwedmar who are ready and willing to work for the benefit of the Kingdom, and for the praise of The Brathmordakin. Although I’ve enjoyed my time rebuilding the workforce and working with its members, I’ve long known that I must find a suitable replacement in time who will have the heart to grow the Workforce even further while I focus on my duties in my home of Hefrumm, as well as in Da Kirkja Dverga. After years of training, Bostone Grimgold will be my choice as replacement for Yemekar’s Pick, effective immediately. His drive and determination as a master in the Workforce, and in his own crafts is outstanding, and I’m sure he will guide the force with a steady hand. Feel free to reach out to him with any Workforce business. Thank you to those that helped me, and worked with me in my time as the Pick, and I look forward to working with you all more in time. Tuzic Mossborn, Prophet of Ogradhad, Grand Librarian, Seer of Hefrumm
  20. "Green Fer King! Fer tha World Makah!" Tuzic cries out in cheer!
  21. The time has come for Yemekar’s workforce to learn more of the resources the many regions of Aevos may be able to provide to the Kingdom. While out in the wilds harvesting alchemical reagents, I was struck by the sight of long glittering scales decorating the backs of agile beasts I caught darting amongst the tall grasses of the plains. In order for our masters to research the properties of these long glittering scales, along with any other resources these beasts may offer, the Workforce will organize a hunting party to track a responsible amount of them down. Should their scales or hides be of use, the goods will be divided amongst those taking part in the hunt. Come prepared for a fight, better safe rather than sorry when hunting down new beasts. 22. Tuzic smiles as he follows Alaric's lead and puts up his Garedyn signs "Ah dwed te praise T'a World Maker nah doubt... Ah'll stand wit' yeh brot'a." the forest dwarf mutters to himself.
  23. Throughout my years as Yemekar’s Pick, I’ve noticed that the Workforce has become bloated - filled with a variety of guilds that go without any use as others flourish. The system of Guildlords and Overseers, meant to decentralize the workforce so individuals can host events and perform the obligations of their guild at their own discretion, did not result in the desired changes, for many a Guildlord simply grew inactive, resulting in a much weaker workforce. Now as we find ourselves upon our new home in Aevos, I’ve decided the time for simplification of the workforce’s organization has come, such that the guilds may flourish under my leadership as well as those who will follow in my footsteps. Guilds Barimmar eron Arakhord Guild of the White Hammer Crafting Guild The Crafting Guild will be made up of those workers who wish to produce metal crafts of all kinds, from weapons, to jewelry, to artwork. Barimmar eron Lordakmava Guild of the Magic Chalice Magic Guild The magic guild will be made up of those workers who aim to produce magical items, from enchanted weapons or trinkets, to alchemical potions. Barimmar eron Orvulazarak Guild of the Obsidian Pickaxe Gathering Guild The Gathering guild will consist of those who work to gather those resources that the Grand Kingdom needs, such as stone, metals, and wood. Leadership Yemekar’s Pick: Yemekar’s Pick will be responsible for establishing a system for payment through the kingdom, and for promoting members of the guild who are deserving of such. In addition to this, Yemekar’s Pick gains the power to freely dismiss inactive contributors to the workforce in order to avoid the stagnation of prior iterations of Yemekar’s Workforce. The Pick should also be actively seeking work for those under their leadership, as well as ensuring that masters are creating opportunities for lower ranks to learn and acquire work of their own, as well as running workforce meetings and business. Master Advisors: By the discretion of the Pick, a council of masters can be formed to advise him on matters of the Workforce and industry. Though it is still the Pick that retains the power to make final decisions, as to avoid needless bureaucracy. Ranks Debtirarum - Apprentice The lowest rank in the Workforce, as well as the first rank that most workers will acquire when joining. Apprentices are responsible for working in their respective craft, learning, and for attending Workforce meetings brought by Yemekar’s Pick, or by the Masters. Tirarum - Journeyman Those with the rank of Journeyman will make up the main body of workers within Yemekar’s Workforce. Journeymen are expected to show they are adept in their specialty, in order to gain their rank. Their responsibilities include all those required of the Apprentices, but with the added task of mentoring new apprentices within the guilds. Kronok - Master Those who have shown true excellence in their crafts and in their dedication to the group will be deemed Masters, and will be responsible in part for the administration of Yemekar’s Workforce. The Masters of the Workforce will work in direct communication with Yemekar’s Pick to create opportunities for those under their ranks. This may include lessons in their craft for lower ranking members to attend, large scale crafting sessions for siege weapons, building, etc. as well as for the mentoring and guidance of all those who seek it within the guilds. Ultimately, a Master’s status is to be revoked if Yemekar’s Pick decides their contributions are lacking. Masters are also required to have at least one apprentice under them at any given time. If a Master does not have an apprentice, their contributions will be judged by the Yemekar’s Pick. It is important for Masters to train Apprentices into Journeymen so dwarven arts and techniques are never lost. Members of The Workforce will receive more pay for each rank Tuzic Mossborn, Yemekar's Pick, Prophet of Ogradhad
  24. Tuzic smiles happily at his invitation from his stump in Hefrumm "Aah, 'ow nice, ah can't wait!.... Now let's see.... gifts." The forest dwarf mutters to himself, stroking at his beard in thought.
