  2. i can't search ANYTHING ON THE FORUMS!!!!!!! ****!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Though happy of potential new kin to get to know, Noiye dreads the re-emergence of a horrible accent. She holds steady.
  4. Noiye, the jingoist treasurer, assumes herself on the seat. She fixes her plate on and got to work, as unwieldy as quill might be 'tween a stiff gauntlet, it was suited to smother tax evasion. A decisive baritone muffled beneath the serf-knight's helmet. ". . . .GLORY TO GOD and EMPEROR."
  5. "They knew he was a deserter and still took them in. What did giving that rodent second chances amount to? Loss of lyfe, one valued greater than his." One serf-knight who was one of Toren's former superiors, murmurs her upset 'neath a wayside shrine. Candles were lit to the loss of Verdan.
  6. while my biggest concern lies in this being misused to dodge irp consequences of the war system, think it's fine as long as it doesn't result in +10 something dead builds cluttering the map. builders should be empowered the means clean them up in short time to preserve the map's long term health and not months after the settlement's dissolution also 2500 mina does not make the LC actually free, and not always enough depending on how detailed you want it built. just make it unlimited, there's already size constraint & building standards to follow on top of getting an application accepted, an additional numerical limit hanging over your head isn't needed
  7. The serf-knight who once-squired 'neath LORD VANDER and ardently served IMPERIUM through thick and thin sets off for the Trostine frontier, where a home waits to be carved out.
  8. With arms splayed to hug the sunrays that heralded in the first dae of HADRIAN I as EMPEROR of Azuras was it that one of his Dragon Knights, Noiye wept openly. The war is won, and rest of lyfe was now hers to spend as reward. "AVE IMPERIUM! AVE HADRIAN!"
  9. “.. We won.” These news were murmured unto the sickbed of her sworn charge the morn after. His coma wasn’t easy for her to stomach - the war is won, but no amount of small talk to an unconscious man could change that she stood one less companion to spend peacetime with. Nonetheless, she vowed him the Smiling Sun's wellbeing 'fore leaving. “I’ll look after Robert.” Back in the countryside of Rittersburg, the serf who was squired, knighted, and endured thoroughly in the long war kneels in front of a wayside shrine, of finely carved oak and lacquered by Raev woodwork mossed over into dilapidation. There, wheat fields glittered ‘neath beautiful glare of sun around Noiye. Her shoulders slouch with an achieved sense of inner peace, knowing that tomorrow she can wake up a bit lighter amongst friends.
  10. ".. oh, it's drab?" Well." Out of all the implications the papers levelled to her, Noiye found most insult to her fashion. She surveys the scandalous masterpiece spread out on the duvet in front of her. "Clutch your schillings for this one."
  11. Somewhere in the wayward fields of Norland, a Dragon Knight and an errand man of Ubersreik practiced for the upcoming jousting season. Flung from the saddle one time too many, she couldn’t comprehend that a village boy managed to break her form repeatedly - once was a newbie’s luck, but twice, thrice and some splintered lances more later implied a surfaced greatness she could nurture, the same that Lord Vander saw in herself many yils ago. … Still, Noiye’s thin-skinned ego snapped in the moment, for she saw it personal failing towards GOD and IMPERIUM to get this rusty. ".. YOU CHEATING KNAVE! YOU -" plated claws took the man yay-high by his collar, dunking his head into a nearby trough for thorough waterboarding. “RRRAAAAGGGH!” A time would come she’d look back on this differently. @helldiving
  12. The first inches those walls gave did a Dragon Knight burst through to live up to her banner's repute - not to feast on the guts of garden gnomes, but to collect material spoils for the Imperial hoard. ... back in the Lord Marshal's office, Noiye picks up the logistical backlog in midst of Vander's recovery. Even now there is still more to do, and that many more dwarves to squash 'neath GOD's hungry war machine.
  13. Noiye framed this up amongst scores of older Imperial missives and LANDSKAR posters on her wall, and sat down to admire it from afar over qahwe, which was enjoyed from a cup that had a 'NUMBER #1 EMPEROR FAN' print on it.
  14. Dame Noiye burst into a laughter so bad it rendered the knight ugly crying, howling sounds that blurred between the lines of anguish and of despairing hilarity watching the clergy she held in high regards walk into an open fire. "NAE, MINE HOLINESS! NOT LIKE THIS!!! HE'S CHOSEN BY GOD! WOEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
  15. Dame Noiye points to her new tabard.
  16. good comms but please do not re-enable food plugin, its current iteration is too under-developed to be worth the player upset having on-server

It's less about the overt persuasive aspect of it @greisn. The noise on the forums is good for generating anxiety and showing there's smoke to the fire, but it cannot in of itself make change. If it really is a matter intense enough to be causing the server to fall apart, the only people who can intercede and hold him accountable are other Administrators. In that hypothetical situation, should they not do so, that means things are pretty much fucked anyways. It still falls onto Josh now to either accept or deny the appeals, they should not be sitting in limbo forever.

The impression people should be getting is it's okay to voice concerns and criticisms, but that it's also important to have a level of pragmatism when dealing with these things. In an ideal world, we'd be able to show a horse to water and make it drink, but that's just not the case right now. For better or worse, everybody has their thoughts, things they know and don't know, etcetera. Milen is my friend and I'd love it if he was unbanned. However, if he cannot be, I think it's far kinder for them to just tell him not to waste his time.

  22. before nation mines got re-implmented, every single wild node in the map can take you 2h maybe 3 if you're not entirely locked in mining in its current state isn't working at least in the way tech thought it would because it is a long-term investment of personal time that only 1-3 supergrinders of that nation end up doing nearly by themselves, it compromised my roleplay to a point where it feels like ive lost out on friendships and personal developments my character could've gained in that time, I feel all more socially behind than my peers as a result cause I had to repeatedly value grind over larp just buff wild nodes, if visiting them is intended to be such a ball-ache then make that horse trip worth more than 4 pieces please
  23. any news on the bans? hello??))??

    WAR AND MERCY

Noiye can recall instances she hesitated. Instances where that hesitation costed her. The bid for mercy at the last mile when already knee-deep in lives claimed had anger swell in that leal, though jingoistic errant-squire. Mercy is what took the EMPEROR'S eye. It is what they expected from her when she stared down betrayal in the whites of eyes she thought comrades. It is everywhere. Marching on all the serf loved. What she saw out in the lawless vistas could not understand the world that Joan earnestly hoped for. To her, all Noiye knew of mercy is that it was a second chance for evil to hurt her again. One thought struck her at the end of this spiral - What could a princess know? "No," a deep growl refused, tense grip rattling the vellum copy in her hands. "No more of this. I will make the hard calls for you, princess. It is what I am for."
