I can see why people are resistant to the change in the server VOIP, but I think it a good alternative to TS. It looks better and with the added benefit of potentially increasing uptime for the Minecraft server due to the ddos protection, I welcome the change. All in one nifty small download too, and unless you are running your pc with a 50gb hdd then there isn't much to complain about.

Whoever decided to write : "Gordon Ramsey being sad because he can't read his own writing" gave me a chuckle. As for the scale, it was just a matter of preference.

I'm glad to see that you made a post, it has been a long time since I have seen you on the forums. But I'm happy for you that you got your scholarship and are about to open a new chapter in your own story. Firstly use the multiquote and edit options to prevent double and triple posting, forum etiquette 101. Now, despite what you think, we do announce changes to our donation system and users do give feedback on the changes. Albeit not via a mass email notification. Giving the option for players to claim back their donations is ridiculous. They are donations to the server, to help aid its development and keep it online. Your case is an anomaly. From your comments and manner of writing, it seems that what you are annoyed at is the fact you can no longer use the shop plugin, meaning you actually have to rp selling items rather than creating autoshops and going to do other things. You are also pushing the fact that you "payed for perks" rather than donating. Despite what guise you put forth, it is merely a mask for what you did, which was donating. Call it what you will but you willingly parted with your money to receive the perks for donators . You donated your money. We have no obligation to return this money.

As the server changes and evolves, certain aspects and/or mechanics will also change. In order to embrace this, things have to change. For instance in Aegis you got a lump sum of minas for donating, which was later deemed as that needed changing; getting a large sum of minas from an ooc source didn't equate in rp. Now, the staff are able to, as a team decide upon perks for donor packages if there is a feeling that certain perks are not working or if they are "out of date" and cause friction with the current structure of the map or the direction that it is planned to take. These choices are not made to spite donors. These are donations after all, despite what method you used when Availer was the owner it was still a 'donation'. Not to mention that the server has changed hands since then so obviously there will be differences. Change is inevitable. Edit: Also, you are double posting a lot, please make use of the "Edit" button on your posts rather than adding a new comment with one sentence.

Well as a Dev I put in 70~ hours into working on the new map, you'd be hard pressed to find many more staff members who have done the same :P I respect your opinion though but lets all chill and enjoy the joke, eh? You cough as you move the old frail books from the bookcase in the library of the cloud temple. The dust falling from the shelves as you stack the books. Your eyes strain trying to read the faded writing along the spine of the book in your grasp, "It's tattered cover has certainly seen better days." you think to yourself as you rub your eyes. Your furrowed brow accenting the wrinkles upon your forehead. As you continue the laborious task of sorting through the bookcase you notice a single scroll behind a row of old books. Hidden or forgotten, it matters not anymore as you extend your hand towards it. A thick layer of dust coating the top side of the scroll suggests it has been lying long undisturbed. "Careful now" you mutter under your breath as you gently pick up the scroll. The parchment is damaged to your surprise and not just from the passage of time. You opt to return to a table where you can get a better look at it, underneath the dim flickers of your reading candle. Curiously you remove the string which has kept it bound, as you unfurl it and smooth it over the table. Your eyes light up as you look down upon what you have discovered. "By my beard, what have I uncovered!" You gasp as you look upon the map with great interest, your eyes browsing over it's noted landmarks. You recognize them from various other books that you have read, that were housed in the library. Old books, of a land lost to corruption and death. You carefully roll the scroll back up into it's original form and rebind the string. It looks even more frail than it did previous. You opt to give the newly uncovered map to a monk so that it can be copied by a scribe and then put somewhere safe. You nod to yourself in approval for thinking of such an action as you rise from the bench and wander through the library looking for a monk... (To clear up any future uncertainties, this is definitely not the new map. This is a Map of the Northern region of Aegis where the Humans lived)
