I'm a little confused. We have a psychopath and this is all that goes through his brain? I thought he'd think of nothing but snapping the necks of puppies or eating the souls of Elven peasants.

  5. I didn't know about Germ Theory until I studied it in school, in a course I chose myself. Does this mean that we're all expected to choose such courses in school as not to break lore?

Thank you for reminding me Urara, that will help me in my exam soooo much. My point was clearly to emphasize certain inconsistencies. Since, ya' know, we did somehow survive the great plague without all being wiped out back in Asulon. Somebody can easily have said that's where Germ Theory came from.

  6. Notable Beasts of the Karakatuan Empire Notable beasts that reside in and on the Island of Karakatua. Found in a tome inside the library of Karakatua. Dunjael - The Gy'waka of Pride Dunjal Notable because of his uniqueness, being the first fully tamed and ridden Gy'waka of Anthos. Named by The Mane, Ri'Quorak, of Pride Dunjal, because of his notable appearance of grey and blue feathers. He is a rather large Gy'waka, but the largest is till yet to be seen. Ezra, the Priest's Nagei Ezra was entranced by the priestess Ja'Sahra using the abilities granted to her by Metztli. After she earned the trust of the snake, the two quickly grew to become close companions, and the Nagei would even follow commands by the Cheetrah. Her potent, paralytic venom came quite in handy often. Three foot Nagei. ( More to come, PM me if you want any additions made )

  12. ___ _________________ _ Once, in Karakatua, there was peace in all minds. Maybe that was before the fires. Or before the torment that stretches through almost every mind, now. Flame follows in the wake of destruction, and comforts the mortals into a new way of living. But in Karakatua, this concept has been abolished. The Kharajyr rebel against the very fabric of nature, that after so much pain and anguish, one must revert. Instead, they stay the same. Instead of giving into the darkness, they resist it. And such is clear in the story to come. Ri'Quorak, once a fisherman, second an Aelkos of War, third an Aelkos of Culture and the old way, and now a puppet whom which is controlled by a being of absolute dominance to him. Himself. His anger was drawn separate to him by a rival. A constant reminding of how weak he was in comparison, and how hurt he had became over stupid things like words... He was pushed into a pit of chaos. The pit was fluent with anger, and so he drowned in it. Each night, there was no sleep. There was only a second half to the day. This half didn't belong to him, nor did he know what occurred in it. Only that it made him grow into a beast that prowls the forests, and slips eager and angry words into others ears. Xiunyg was born. It named itself, and pretended to all that it was Ri'Quorak. And whilst Ri'Quorak slept, Sa'Xiunyg harvested all the crops of power, fire and change that he could possibly sow. Quorak was broken, and even whispered his problems to Natayshi. She said to fight it, and that it should never be stronger than him, and is not. Quorak believed this to a certain extent; in that it could even be Metztli herself. But he reluctantly continued to endure it, hoping that it could simply go away, like a wound. But this wound was deep, and had been rooting itself for so long, he could not begin to bare it any longer. He struck it where he could, in all ways he could have. In the night he would bind himself, so that when the beast struck, it was trapped. He bathed in water to metaphorically quell the fires that Xiunyg created. But it fought back... and hard. Quorak had lost his tongue when he was only a Cub, in his trials. The Do' decided it would teach him that he should not open his mouth to speak such blatant truths to anybody, for he should always follow his Tlatlanni. Quorak secretly disagreed entirely, but this was his own opinion. For years, and years he lived without it. But he acquired a new one from Saviticus, the Spirit Druid. A wooden one was provided, which had so many connections, it worked like a new flesh tongue. But this tongue was harshly removed by Xiunyg when he fought back. During Quorak's sleep, it slammed it's hand into Quorak mouth and ripped hard upon the tongue, and ripped each connection out until Quorak lept out of his sleep and into a scream. This was not all... Quorak kept fighting it, dispelling the anger through bathes, meditation and even prayer. He truly believed that Metztli would save him from himself. He was wrong to believe such, as Xiunyg kept punishing Quorak. Cuts, scars and illness began to plague his body until he could only stay inside his own room in the palace, where nobody would ever go to find him. Quorak tried to avoid as much sleep as possible, staying up for two whole days in a row without proper food, water or sleep. Xiunyg's anger tripled, and quadrupled over that. And he struck again. This time, his eyes. Quorak has his eyes torn violently from him during his inevitable sleep. And he was purged of sight. Still not done. Xiunyg was nearly in full control, even if it meant tearing ever limb from Quorak, he would do so for just one attempt at FULL control of his body. Quorak had no idea how to fight this, it made him weaker and weaker. It overshadowed him like a curse a million times the size of his own soul. Metztli had even seemed to have forgotten him. No speech, no sight. Only sound. Quorak was truly cursed.

      EboBren'

Neverwinter is great, but actual paper & pen DnD is better, depending on what you like. Also, the lore of this is not the lore of all DnD games. It is just from the classic "Forgotten Realms".
