No matter how many times someone threatens to commit suicide, NEVER, -EVER- mock them for it. You will live with that regret for the rest of your life.

Mocking is bad, but people react to those situations differently. The brain doesn't stop growing until the age of 25-ish, and most people on LOTC, and on most rude forums, are under that age. Theyy internally panic, or are so sad or disturbed that they deal with it in odd ways...
Not an excuse, but people handle it differently.
