These trees are just being put together with information I can find, and the Larihei/Malin bit was from Earendur's line which I'm told Rittsy viewed and approved of back when the high elves were piecing together their lines. As far as partners, none of this states marriages, and it's really hard to decide who they would have been with, who may have died, and if they found someone else later in life. Plus the fact back in Malin's early time, the curses of Iblees were not yet in place and the elves were quite fertile. Also keep in mind, these aren't canon-lore family trees, and most older elven families would try to link themselves to Malin somehow, whether it was true or not, simply for the sake of doing so, so not all of the information we're able to find may be accurate. Now any actual mistakes that we can definitively prove, I'm definitely changing. I'm not expecting all the information I receive to be 100% accurate and I'm expecting to have to update and make changes along the way.

There's really just no good way to format this, I have a Family Echo tree that is still being added to at this very moment (Kameki branch of the tree is next through Leyun) and it already sits at 198 entries. Hello LotC This post is going to be brief, but to the point. For a long while now, the human playerbase has been asking about the status of the continent known as 'Aeldin' and if it will be officially recognized by server lore or not. I am here after much discussion, weighing of options, and opinions, and the verdict has been reached. Aeldin is confirmed to exist! HOWEVER this statement comes with several clauses to clean up the mass amount of confusion and unfounded, unrecognized claims surrounding this continent, how it exists, and it's current status. Here is a bullet list of the ONLY accepted facts of Aeldin. Anything outside of this is not canon lore, and cannot be claimed as such. *Aeldin is a continent. *Aeldin is confirmed to be populated almost exclusively by humans. *Aeldin is on the same world as Asulon and Anthos. *Horen never visited Aeldin. *Nothing Aengudaemonic of any sort took place upon Aeldin. *Aeldin is no longer accessible. *No one has been capable of traveling to or from Aeldin since crossing into Thales. *No one has, or can, visit Aeldin since 3.75 (Thales) and this most certainly includes the entirety of 4.0. To clarify the reasoning for all of this is simple. It did not occur on Lord of the Craft, it occurred on another server, and thus anything that happened on that server, cannot be brought to this one. This would include the entire existence of Aeldin, however we have decided to allow it's existence and acceptance into canon lore for the benefit of the Human playerbase, as a continent with a name is harmless itself to the flow of Lore upon LotC. However, the other lore claims are not being recognized and are in fact revoked. The world of Aos, containing Aegis and Athera, is seperate from the world of Eos, which held Asulon and Anthos, and upon passing to Thales, we returned to the world of Aos once more, cutting off any possibility of returning to Asulon, Anthos, or Aeldin. There is no active portal back to that land, and no ability for any player to pass to it by any other means either. If anyone would like to submit reasonable lore for things that occurred on Aeldin that would have significant enough impact to require it to be canon lore, you may follow the usual lore submission process and the lore team will look it over and discuss it, but there are two hard lines that will get any lore denied if they are crossed. 1.) Horen never visited Aeldin in any manner. Horen was on the world of Aegis, and did not pass to the world of Asulon at any point. He could never have visited Aeldin. 2.) There is no ability to travel to or from Aeldin any longer, under any means or circumstance. This is the final statement from the Lore Team, or the Staff in general, about Aeldin. We are not obligated to recognize any RP that occurred off of our own LotC servers and mediums, but we are extending this courtesy to Aeldin in a limited manner, with the addendum that no RP that occurs off of the LotC medium has any inherent right to be considered as canon lore, no matter how many people were involved or how many it's refusal may impact. Your backstories from other servers do not matter on LotC. You can adapt your backstories as needed when you come to play here, you cannot bring unaccepted Lore from your old server to LotC without an accepted Lore proposal. After much contemplation we’ve reached a consensus to revive two old relics from our past to begin working once again. Yes, the Villain Application Team (VAT) and the Magic Application Team (MAT) are making a return under new leadership to resume their previous duties. This decision was reached as RP surrounding both of these fields has degraded heavily, and all lesser attempts to improve and reign them in have had little effect, and were too vague to heavily enforce. This is a decision to bring a focus back upon quality roleplay in both villainy and magic. During this time the application forum will be open for applying. Old Villain Applications will not be grandfathered upward. The format has changed since the days of old, and can be reviewed in the new subforums at the time of creation. While Villain Applications do not go into effect for a week this does not mean you have a week to roleplay villainy at will without restraint. Magic Application Team Leader: Kalamoot | Kalameet -Similarly, Magic Applications will also go into effect exactly 1 Week from this post. During this time the application forum will be open for applying, both for magic, and to get on the Team. Old Magic Applications will be taken into heavy consideration. The format has changed since the days of old, and can be reviewed in the new subforums at the time of creation. Magic as of now, is off-bounds to anyone without an accepted MA, similarly you cannot teach without an accepted TA (Teacher app). Management teams for both of these groups have been formed and the new formats, rules, applications, etc prepared. Hello citizens of the Lord of the Craft! As many of you are aware, Frottimer has stepped down from the Administration, and the staff, citing personal reasons and situations. We wish him the best, and hope he enjoys rejoining the community in his RP. Thank you for your service and your time in your long tenure on the staff, Frott, and stay Hott. This has left the position of GM Lead open, and Urasept was several steps ahead and already pushing the conversation forward to get a new one in to avoid the long gap of the last time the GM Lead was empty. After discussions through the night and this morning, we have approached our candidate and spoken to them, and they have accepted the position. So, please join the Administration in welcoming Tsuyose, the new GM Lead, and new Administrator for LotC!

Greetings Lord of the Craft. For some time we have had people making a call for more admins. So I have come to say this call has been heard, and it is this day that we are here to announce who has been promoted. This is no simple announcement as we are not announcing one promotion, but instead three. The Admin Team has deliberated on this decision for some time now, and this is the verdict we have reached. Each person that has been promoted have varying forms of experience, across various teams, and have shown they are ready in their own ways. This being said the new admins are as follows; Frottimer, Sky, and Readicti. Frottimer - He is still the Global Moderator Team Leader, he is just trading his blue GM badge for a red Admin one. He was made GM Lead as a stepping stone to prove his readiness to step up and take on additional responsibilities, and to be able to make tough calls. He has proven himself over the past months, and we feel it is time for him to take up this position. Readicti - She has proven to be level-headed and have the server’s interests in mind. As well as not being so prone to rage over things. She always seems to think things through and be calculated on issues. This is why she is to be an admin, and will still lead the AT. She is a newer face and can offer fresher insight. Long run, we feel she can help the server grow, and we await to see the progress that happens with the AT and the server with this new role. Sky - He will be put into place as Community Relations. He is well versed in this area and we expect good things to come of him. He has expressed his interest and qualifications for this position, and has a genuine desire to become a bridge between the staff and the community. We expect community issues addressed and handled in a more timely fashion with him around. Each of them have shown their professionalism, hard work, and desire for this staff and this community to be the best, to be as good as we all know they can be. We ask you to welcome them and congratulate them, and then let them get to work! (sorry, no rum parties!) Congratulations to the new Admins.

What did you ever do with my music discs when you warclaimed the Salvus Grove on Asulon? Were you upset at all when Lillith dismembered Kyral with roots and vines? Do you love me? What's your favorite race on LotC? What's your favorite event you've been part of on LotC? What's your favorite magic on LotC?

These have been voted upon, and there are two things we want changed, at which point they will be accepted lore. 1.) Remove the "frame of mana", do not have them integrated with mana. They are ghosts. 2.) Alter the name from 'Wisps' to something else, because there are already Wisps that have been used in a few events, and they are sentient, and there could be confusion. Once this is done, it will be moved to Implemented Lore.

You can have multiple accounts, that is not the issue. The issue is finding accounts being used by banned players. I have 4 accounts, you're not going to be banned for having multiple accounts.

I spent the first few months of 4.0 voting every day for both my accounts, and upping my professions and selling things people needed. Got lucky with the occassional skillbook or recipe from a Casket, my Vipclaims gave me some horse armor and diamond armor which sold quickly. etc. Not sure how much minas I'm sitting at, but I know I have multiple personas well over the 3000 mark.
