      Think of it this way; imagine the LotC universe after 40 thousand years of advancement. That's kind of how it works.

And fantasy is a different universe, but same gods and general concept. 40k is set after the Horus Heresy which was 10,000 years prior (30k as its known) which was after the Age of Strife in which Human Empire was split by massive warp storms. Terra was ravaged and the Emperor reclaimed it and started a galactic Crusade

      40k is The Emperor of Mankind, he united the clans of earth, got rid of all of the non humans, magic doesn't exist just psychic powers, and now everything is in space. Emperor dies becomes god Emperor ...

    Nope. Different server, a pre-lotc experience. Have a few experienced RPers hop on everyday, and RP with the noobs. Have a /ignore list to those pvp hungry people. Or make them make accounts on the forums FIRST before they can join the server, as a precaution. Setting: A large town, complete with smiths, docks, trade district, the whole 9 yards.
