    Recently ran into some problems when Rping an Orc, Is this lore old? "sometimes considered giants, ranging from seven to twelve feet" I was RPing a 9'9" Sandy Brown Orc and I was told my color and height were wrong. Is it? I am actually confused here...

      That hasn't even been the case for... well, ever really. Very, VERY early Asulon maybe, but even back when I played my orc in Aegis, I didn't see half of this lore you are seeing now. I would suggest pming a orc veteran, all this lore you are finding is not very good lol.

      I decided to change skin tone to green and drop my height to 8'9" so I am at least not breaking lore, and only had to drop a foot. It seems to work. Is it too tall? I want a larger character because I want to live in the Dwarven lands and just tower all the others as I think it would be fun RP and having to emote ducking to enter buildings or taking up multiple chairs would be funny too!

    Just curious, but if the Orcs were to go to war with Dwarves in say another universe (LoTC don't got enough orcs) would Orc really even need helmets/chestplates? I'm trying to imagine 4-5 foot tall dwarves hitting the 8-12 foot tall Orcs... Doesn't seem possible to strike those areas with melee weapons.

      The reason Dwarves are on par with Orcs is not because of sheer fighting prowess, rather it is for two other means. One, as Volutional said, they are adept siege workers, able to tone the masses with huge weaponry. And two, Orcs kill off the majority of their young. Every orc Cub is subject to a harsh early life, and they allow much of their potential forces to die. They prefer strength over numbers.

    Would it be PGing slightly to write lore that allows Orcs to get metal studs drilled into their knuckles so they can punch harder? Just curious. I haven't ever wrote lore before and I am just wondering.

      Powergamers never think they're powergaming. Realizing that you did, and figuring out where it is, is the first step to bettering your roleplay. Having someone point it out to you doesn't help you at all.

      As long as it is not a wall of text, no reason it would be. Keep in mind the biography is really only that, a biography used to choreograph just why your person is evil, and not much more
