      Gwonam, the difference between batman and a Gary Stu is that Batman has been out since the 1920s, WAY before anyone else. He started the craze, he is the original badass, everyone else just bases themselves off him. You shouldn't call him a Gary Stu, because he started the "my parents are dead, I want revenge" and the over all badassery.

      I think most all of the mainstream superheroes are overrated Gary Stus. They may have kick-started the genre, but they suck. Just like the Beatles inspired a lot of great bands, but to me they are friggin horrible.

      I don't think they're permabans so much as "until the staff decides to let you back in" bans. I've met people who overturned multiple permas.

      They might not ALWAYS be but take them seriously anyhow. They can be appealed, but it's very hard and depending on the offense the server might never let you appeal.
