  1. blunderlad why havent you been banned for toxicity you try and antagonize every time a post like this is made and just claim "im just being smart!!" as your excuse. Completely silly. *runs away haha xD!!!* Back onto topic: The GM plot decision is, as Ricky had said, super detrimental to any sort of largely organized faction. I understand the use of Nexus plots for the allowance of those smaller "niche" sort of groups to live, but placing them in the middle of nations and having GMs just determine a plot based on their own judgement of inactivity is just silly! Why have an automated activity check if a GM can just go "Yeah it's active but not active enough for me...". It leaves way too much room for interpretation, and that can easily be exploited and abused by the staff (because we all know it will happen; no one has the iron willpower to remain wholly unbiased). The rest of the shid is just normal stuff tbh the PMs thing makes sense to avoid completely simplified versions of metagaming and disgusting dirty ugly cyber-sex fiends; the suspicion of bans is pretty dystopian feeling but the GMs have been banning for those reasons long before it was made a rule so disputing the [god-given] norm that the staff has already been doing is just pointless.
  2. The Garden Pamphlet New Edition One 5th of Amber’s Cold, 1498 Editor’s Note The Sixth Sovereign of Petrus The Pontificate of Cyriaum The Untamed North Aeldin, A Faraway Land: The Heartlands A Day in the Life – Leuvaarden ______________________________________________________ Editor’s Note The Garden has returned yet again! The Garden Pamphlet is an ongoing newsletter provided for the people of Athera. Written by various sources who may remain unnamed if they so choose, the Garden is a piece of literature that will inform the citizens of the various Realms with everything they need to know. To those that wish to submit articles to the Garden, send word to the Postmaster in Leuvaarden. ((If you would like to contribute an article to the Garden, send a PM to this forum account with the submission. It will be reviewed and either approved or denied, with edits being made for any discrepancies. The choice of whether or not you would like to name yourself as the author is at your own decision.)) ______________________________________________________ The Sixth Sovereign of Petrus Andrik Vydra, First of His Name, King of the Reformed Kingdom of Oren and Sovereign of Petrus; Protector of the Heartlands; Fifth Unifier of Humanity; Vanquisher of Aesterwald; and the Anointed of God by His Holiness, has taken his seat as the highest authority of Mankind. King Andrik, upon the conclusion of the Schism War and his official coronation, has established his capital in the Eternal City of Petrus, which has seen a great revival of culture, population, and religion since the Kingdom’s creation. King Andrik is the sixth sovereign lord of Petrus, with his predecessors being Emperor Robert Chivay; Lord Boris Carrion; Emperor Tuvya Carrion; Emperor Aleksandr Carrion; and Lord Godfrey III Horen. The King has united the Heartlands, Akovia, and even smaller factions across the Ebunad river under a single banner. Instating the highest authority at the start of his reign, King Andrik denies inter-realm conflict and has decreed that no kingdom shall ever rise where Aesterwald once stood. He reinforces this decree by establishing a puppet state known as the Northern Commonwealth, and has further goals to expel any further threat from the north permanently. These goals have led to inevitable conflict with the Kingdom of Urguan, whose petty holdings claim some form of dominion and control over the rightful land of Mankind. King Andrik descends from House Vydra, a house stemming from the former Kingdom of Akovia. The bloodline of Vydra holds no history with the greater houses of the past human kingdoms, yet Andrik and his kin have shown their strength, determination, and ambition in both the Schism War and the ongoing conflict in the North. The King, despite his strength, is intelligent enough to surround himself with loyal councillors, whose duties to the Kingdom are unparalleled. Thanks to the Reformed Kingdom of Oren, Mankind is once again setting itself on stable and effective progress. Unfortunately, due to the treachery of the Kingdom’s once proud and longtime allies, King Andrik was assassinated by the vile and dishonorable Silver State of Haelun’or. The great betrayal is an outrage to all of Humanity, and a great vengeance has been called on all Elvenkind. ______________________________________________________ The Pontificate of Cyriaum The Holy Palatinate of Cyriaum is the seat of His Holiness, High Pontiff Daniel I. Along with the High Pontiff, the Holy See and Curia also reside in the Palatinate, which is the administrative body of the entire Pontificate. The Pontificate of Cyriaum holds the province independently, with High Pontiff Daniel I acting as its sovereign lord. The Pontificate, under the management of the Holy See, has overseen the construction of several wayshrines throughout the Heartlands, dedicated to the Saints of the Faith. Furthermore, the establishment of Prophet’s Peaks has finished its final renovations. The Peak acts as the first and last place for any pious pilgrim to visit whilst devoting time to God. The Peak is located just north of the Eternal City of Petrus, between the roads of Alderswood and Angren. The Fief of Krinfrid acts as the Peak’s Protector, where Ser Foltest of Aeldin protects any travelers. The province itself is currently sparsely populated, and is capable of accommodating a small number of residents. Under the protection of the Vicar of God and the Holy See, the residents of the Pontificate are considered some of the safest in the Heartlands. Notable Clergy in the Pontificate: High Pontiff Daniel I Vice Chancellor Hectorius of Aeldin Abbott Jude of Petrus Bishop Kristoff of Hanseti Bishop Humbert of Bar (nee Humbert) Father Branaford of Cavan ______________________________________________________ The Untamed North The land beyond the Ebunad river is colloquially referred to as “The North”, and it is synonymous with wilderness, counter-civilization, and rampant paganism. The once stalwart Kingdom of Aesterwald was situated on the northern bank of the Ebunad, and due to the North’s corrupting agents, it quickly fell to thoughts of heresy that would lead to the Schism War. The land itself is wild and unforgiving; countless petty factions vie for control of a few acres of land, and the chaotic nature of the region appeals to the deviants and ne’erdowells of Athera, making the North a tangled mess of rebels and rejects. Meanwhile, though, while the insignificant bands battle on the roads, two larger factions lay their claim on dominion of the North: the Reformed Kingdom of Oren and the Kingdom of Urguan. Both nations have strategic holdings in the region, and are reluctant to give each other any advantageous ground. The focus of the most recent Orenic-Dwarven war has shifted from the mainland of Athera into the rowdy and disorderly lands of the North; and its people, as uncivilized as they are, become ever-involved in the growing conflict. The Holding of Nerezza, a strategic castle located in the center of the North, has been the site of the most recent conflicts between Oren and Urguan. The holding itself has changed sides numerous times in the war, yet it seems it has finally placed its stake with Urguan. The Northern Commonwealth – a conglomerate puppet of city-states in the northeastern quadrant – have supported Oren in their conquests, and seek to further their own dominion over the North. Several battles have already taken place throughout the region, yet two stand out as truly significant: The Siege of Hiebenhall The Siege of Hiebenhall was an offensive maneuver planned by the Reformed Kingdom of Oren. The intent was to dismantle the Holding of the Grandaxe clan, and with it a significant blow to Dwarven power in the North. Unfortunately, though, due to a complete lack of leadership, the Orenic forces were commanded by incompetent and overly-ambitious commanders whose knowledge of stratagem and tactics were as learned as a newborn babe. Foolish commands led the bulk of the Orenic force around the curtain walls of the holding, all while under the constant fire from Dwarven missiles. Only when the commanders had realized their folly was it truly too late. Yet despite this, the order for an advance was given still, and many soldiers fell to the repeating volleys of Dwarven bows. The Orenic forces were beaten back that day, the Kingdom of Urguan successfully repelling Mankind’s assault. The Siege of Drakenburgh The Siege of Drakenburgh was an offensive maneuver coordinated by the Kingdom of Urguan and a contingent of Orcish clans who pledged their support. The Dwarves, inspired by their recent victory at Hiebenhall, had the intent to cripple the Northern Commonwealth’s power by striking at the heart of their military installations. Preparations were made, and under the cover of nightfall the Dwarven vanguard established a siege camp. By daybreak, several trebuchets, trenches, barricades and towers had been erected and the siege was underway. Yet the construction had not gone unnoticed, and several messages were sent to the Heartlands in request for aid. And so, on the same morning the Dwarven engineers had finished their construction, a massive force of Orenic reinforcements had rallied to the south of the castle. As soon as the first salvoes of Dwarven trebuchets had hit the walls of Drakenburgh, the Orenic forces were already upon them. A lightning charge across the fields followed by a sally from the defenders crashed into the Dwarven camp, swarming and overwhelming the besiegers. Within minutes, the Dwarven lines were broken and in utter rout. The Kingdom of Urguan was repelled and the former inspiration from their past victory lost under the crushing boot of the Kingdom of Oren. ______________________________________________________ Aeldin, A Faraway Land: The Heartlands The first people encountered by those of the Exodus were known as the Heartlanders. Of average height and hosting a mild complexion, the Heartlanders were, besides the Agathorians, one of the most relatable of the people to the Imperials that landed. The Heartlands was the first Imperial province established by the Emperor Horen, and the Heartlander Campaign, led by the now Emperor Peter Chivay, was an easily won victory over a people who quickly realized their soon-to-be Imperial overlords were just and righteous in their cause. Sharing a common distaste for nonhumans, the Imperials and Heartlanders signed a peace agreement two years into the campaign, with the entirety of the Heartlands swearing under the crown of the Empire. This segment will describe a small portion of the Heartlander Campaign: The Heartlander Wars by Julianus the Younger Page 348, The King’s Word The King had called his commanders to his tent for a final time, finding this long siege unwanted and unneeded for a war that was already so far won. For ninety-seven days the siege had dragged on, the Barons of Valtian defiant in their acceptance of their new Empire. The walls were formidable and made of ancient and towering flagstones, but even now they had begun to buckle under the combined might of the Heartlander-Imperial force, whose siege engines constantly battered the walls in an endless harassment. An assault was soon coming, and the entire camp began to prepare. ______________________________________________________ A Day in the Life – Leuvaarden Written by Augustus Fournier The City of Leuvaarden, presided over by the shrewd Count Guy de Bar, serves as the de facto capital for the Duchy of Savoy, and is by some stretch the largest city to be found in the current lands of Oren. Taking the guise of a weary traveller, one of our most trusted reporters pays a visit: Upon entry to the city via means of the road connecting to Cloud Temple, it is clear the city is normally tranquil. Streams of water cut through the fertile soil and the occasional peasant hovel can be seen, rising from the hard-baked earth. Entering further, signs of life can be seen - farmers harvesting the wheat, and men conducting trade near the marketplace One of the spectacles of the city is the field of fabled ‘Crosses of Leuvaarden’, upon which heretics are hung. As the road rises, there is the newly-constructed industrial areas to the right. Complete with a multitude of apparatus for each of the many crafts that are available to citizens of Athera, it offers a public position to both meet with fellow citizens and practise your skills. A return to the main path brings the entrant past the large crane employed for construction work, along with the ‘Avenese Bank’ and a large catapult - supposedly the one used to bring down the Ordium. Climbing the short steps into the main street allows the first sight of the Leuvaarden Keep, a prevalent structure from which the local nobles, led by the Count, pass edicts pertaining to the burgeoning city. The sounds of clashing iron can be heard, and never seem to stop, from ‘Leuvaarden Steel’ as the smiths work tirelessly to create arms and armour for the men of Savoy. Anyone who longs for a drink or a morsel to eat after a tiring journey may stop in the ‘Grand Master’s Tavern’ and engage in both a delicious meal from the fields of Savoy and insightful conversation with the locals. For those that decide to delve deeper into the tavern, the smoky gambling den awaits below - the prospect of much money to be won available to entice those that seek to turn a profit or enjoy the competition. Passing further through the streets, past the rarely-used gallows and towards the grand cathedral it is possible to catch a glimpse of Guy de Bar upon business or talking to the local people. Halting before the cathedral it is advisable to enter and listen to the zealous tones of the Bishop Humbert giving mass or a sermon to the gathered small-folk. After taking part in such the road leads down towards the crowded docks. Climbing down the path it quickly turns into the midst of bustling farm homes, accompanied by small gardens. Stepping down towards the dock your view is dominated by the very same warships that destroyed the dwarven ‘steam’ navy merely a year ago. To those that are quick upon their feet is it possible to clamber upon such vessels and see the deck where our soldiers grappled bravely with the stouts. Taking the path back and past the cathedral reveals a fledgling vineyard, workers carefully picking grapes from the vines and scuttling over the various equipment that constitutes the making of some of the famous Leuvaarden vintages: ‘Richard’s Red’, ‘Savoyard Champagne’ and more. Once finished the sight of courtiers fills the yard, quickly lifting up the full bottles and carrying them back to the castle. The patrolling of St. Amyas order-men is a regular site amongst the city, pausing citizens to ensure they are safe and dealing with any disturbances in the peace. The dealing of the burghers is protected by them, as they count out their coins and swap goods. Occasionally the sight of Guy de Bar and Augustus Fournier can be seen, administrating the city and granting alms to the poor.

  4. The Congregational Recordings The Church of the Canon has begun to record its congregations, both to maintain the integrity of the church and the validity of its teachings. These congregations, recorded every Saint’s Week, will be put under theological review and listed for the clergy to examine and interpret. ((Sunday, March 8th, 2015)) 14th of Amber’s Cold, the Year of His Falling 1497 First Priest: Hectorius of Aeldin Sermon: The Blessing of Saint Owyn, the Exalted Location: Cathedral of Leuvaarden Other Clergy in Attendance: Acolyte Declan, Priest Jethro The Mass was conducted with a full congregation, and the topic was of the Exalted Saint Owyn. The story of Saint Owyn’s establishment of the first recognized Orenic state was explained to those in attendance, and the morals of strength, purity and unity were promoted throughout the mass. The hymn of Da Pacem Domine concluded the mass while Acolyte Declan and Priest Jethro collected donations from the congregation. Both Priest Jethro and Acolyte Declan were then sent to deliver alms to the poor as Hectorius delivered confession to those in need. ((To the Clergy: when you have conducted a mass, record it here. The dual purpose of this thread is to: show our activity in the weekly procedures of mass; and to give those who may have missed the mass some substance of what was discussed. Post a reply in the proper format listed below:)) ((Protip: use /date in game to find the date)) ((FM PIN THIS NOW))

  8. The air above Storm’s End was darkening as thick clouds began to cover the light of day. Rousing cracks of thunder and flashes of lightning was seen fast approaching from the southeast, just over Shipbreaker Bay. The Sentries on the wall shuffled into roofed towers to avoid the incoming rain, and it seems as if a grey gloom loomed over the flagstones of the massive keep. King Helton, along with his small council, were once again convening for a meeting. The same large map of the Stormlands was laid out, and several courtiers and soldiers stood idly by to receive any commands the king may request. Stannis the Steward spoke up through the throng of trivial discussions, addressing Helton, “The Lannister envoy has been expelled from the court, as you ordered, sire. He has left this morning and was in little mood to converse.” The King merely grunted in response, contorting his face into a sour look, “And better off we will be. A Lion has no place among the Stormlands. The sight of a flash and the boom of thunder will send it running, tail tucked and all. Let us forget such a matter and move onto the more pressing concerns.” “Of course, Your Grace,” Stannis says, producing a small list, “More news from the southern border: Refugees have finally spilled from the Dornish border and into our lands through the Boneway. They have established an impromptu camp on the coast and have a small retinue of soldiers accompanying them. They claim sovereignty under the Lord Yronwood, and would not accept Lord Dondarrion’s demands to expedite back across the border.” “Mmm… send word to Prince Roland to inform Lord Dondarrion that the refugees will be handled in due time. Meanwhile, I would have us move onto further matters of state.” The king produces his own small list, tapping the center with his forefinger, “The Prince of Dorne has requested a trade agreement. I would have that accepted, with all the necessary arrangements being made.” The steward nods obediently and scribbles down a note. “Furthermore, I would have our infrastructure improved. Allocate one thousand gold from our treasury into improving the roads and towns from Storm’s End to the Prince’s Pass. Likewise, I would muster an additional two thousand Stormswords from our Holdfasts and send them to Summerhall.” Stannis the Steward nods once again, scrawling onto the parchment. The King grunts and waves his hand, allowing the rest of the councillors to bring up the many other travesties, fortunes, news of all sorts, and developments that have occurred in the Kingdom of the Stormlands. _________________________________________________________ Troop Levies 2000 Stormswords recruited in the Holdfasts of Summerhall and Storm’s End – Sent to Summerhall to bolster the garrison (Maintained at minimum upkeep). 9. The unfortunate truth that Goldrim underlines is the fact that people take the no conquest without consent clause in the War rules as a way for them to drag on a war forever with really little consequence other than the potential drain of "roleplay" due to PVP (but in all seriousness, most impromptu skirmishes allow numbers to skyrocket instead, even if it is for just a 10 minute fight). The Skype chat to determine the War Rules worked hard, but I'm afraid that despite the efforts of myself and others there, the conquest with consent had to remain. What's even worse is that the new War Rules, despite their more free-form design, have not had any proper guidance or full implementation (besides super simple TNT and a "war region"), so the entire idea of the War Rules is being thrown out the window before it is even actually used. I don't know who to fault for that, but I think something should be done about it. What we had originally outlined in the plans for the War Rules was the treasury system (included in the current Rules, but very vageuly), which forced nations who were losing wars to eventually seek a peace before or after they went bankrupt (although going bankrupt immediately causes the bankrupt nation to seek a peace). I've seen no such system made or even realized by most people on the server, which is super bad! So, to wrap this up: Let's see the Staff actually enforcing the rules that are outlined, and have those that created the Rules provide a better input on the intent of said rules.
  10. people dont understand how to actually roleplay which is why the monks are so dumb its literally a get out of jail free card and its disgusting to anyone who considers to be a legitimate roleplayer. Just "poofing" away injuries is the worst thing since the creation of the EU

They seek to further the party’s goals in a myriad of ways, including: Recruitment Proposal of addendums to the ideology New Party projects Administrative divisions Guild association and participation The current members of the Lower Party are: Salazar Elibar’acal Talos Rhonir Riondil Kalameet Janos Rael Ith’ael Cyrus Lyrell Uradir Talimeracahe Purpose To gather those of like minded thought and ideology into one formalized party, with the overall goal of service to the State of Haelun’or above all else. The Eldar Association looks to enhance and augment both the Silver City and all its holdings and territories with the intent of creating a beautiful, efficient and awe-inspiring nation of honor, glory, and pride. Ideology The Preservation of the Traditional Laws The Eternal City’s greatest accomplishment is its internal stability. The maintenance of such is of the utmost importance. Purity is what gives our people the intelligence and strength to be the greatest of the Mali race. The Necessity and Strength of Civic Duty One must always have a place within the walls of Silver, Freeloaders who do nothing to advance the City as a whole are a cancer upon society; for all to have a place of work. The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against the interest of the community to the benefit of all. The State has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor, by increasing physical fitness through the introduction of compulsory games and gymnastics, and by the greatest possible encouragement of associations concerned with the physical education of the young. The State has the duty to help raise the standard of mental health, by inducing a stronger educational system, one which will be maintained from Youth to Older ages. The Strict Adherence to a National Identity We are Haelun’or, we are the Silver, and we will maintain Purity. The right to choose the government and determine the laws of the State shall belong only to citizens. We therefore demand that no public office, of whatever nature, whether in the central government, the province, or the municipality, shall be held by anyone who is not a citizen. The Belief in National Pride The Democratic nature of our community breeds a sense of duty that is of particular greatness within our society. Through the trials and tribulations of the past eras, our people have risen to be a permanent member of the World Stage. Internal Stability can only be an immortal concept with the strength of the citizenries pride to be within the nation. The Honor of Pacts Above All The word of a Mali’Aheral must be stone, it dictates the honor and affability of our race to the world, and for us to be considered ‘oathbreakers’ would do a considerable amount of damage to our external stability. The gratitude of our race should be given to Oren and her peoples, for we have twice now been helped in our time of need by our Human allies, and for us to not be anything but grateful is to be without honor. The Unity of All Within the Silver The unity that The Silver brings upon our people is the sole reason behind our races continued existence. History teaches us that unity is strength, and cautions us to submerge and overcome our differences in the quest for common goals, to strive, with all our combined strength, for the path to true Mali’aheral brotherhood and unity. There is more power behind unity than division. The Superiority of the Mali’aheral Citizen It is the belief that the Mali’aheral Citizen is the purest form of Elf, and should be treated as such. Those deemed impure, non-citizens, foreigners, or denizens of the City will be considered aliens and fall under separate Alien laws. Recruitment Speak with any current Party member (Upper or Lower) to inquire about signing up to participate in the Eldar Association. From there, a vetting process will be undertaken to properly evaluate the potential member.

  14. Reform: The constant aspiration to work, re-work, and perfect the very existence of society. It is the integral part of progress and the sister to innovation. Without Reform, we are devolved and devoid of intellect. “We are the City of Silver, the Dominion of Mali’aheral perched high on our plateau of justice and honor. Our swords will be sharpened, our spears tipped with the finest steel, and our shields banded with the toughest metals. We will be the guardians of the Eternal City, the protectors of Haelun’or – We will be the Evariran’thilln.” Parir’thill Rael Ith’ael The progress and success stemming from the new leadership of the Evariran’thilln has prompted a need for perfection and complete effectiveness. The reforms of the Evariran’thilln will standardize and maximize the potential of every guardian that protects the Silver Banner. The Addaniran Reforms will turn a fledgling Mali’aheral into a strong and passionate protector – an elf of iron and steel, forged from the fires of our most blessed City. We will be determined, disciplined, and decisive. SENIOR COMMAND Parir’thill The Parir’thill is in command of the entire Evariran’thilln. They have complete authority in the field and acts as the chief representative of the Evariran’thilln to the Silver Council, taking the role of Okarir’tir. The Parir’thill is more often the administrative and logistical commander, taking the role of organizing military funds, establishing training grounds, and being an overall grand strategist behind the Evariran’thilln. The Parir’thilln is the only position appointed by the Triumvirate; the rest are chosen at the will of the Parir’thill. Annilir The Annilir is more often the field commander of the Evariran’thilln. They lay out the weekly tasks of the evariran, and ensures both subordination, discipline, and logistics are in order. The Annilir may also be assigned to manage specific sections of the Evariran to help in its delegation and management. HIGH COMMAND Tilruir The Tilruir is the officer of the Evariran’thilln. They are efficient and tested battlefield commanders, inspiring role models, and have proven their dedication to the Evarir’thilln. Most often at the center of any battle line, the Tilruir commands an aura of authority, signalling and leading valiant charges. Furthermore, a Tilruir may be appointed to a specialized rank based on their expertise in a specific field. TILRUIR SPECIALIZED RANKS Nealuir The Nealuir is the disciplinary and head training officer of the Evarir’thilln. They organize and manage all training exercises and oversee the drilling of recruits. The Nealuir’s confirmation allows the Evarir’thull to take their oaths and ascend to the next rank. The Nealuir maintains discipline and order within the Enlisted, ensuring a professional and combat ready force. Tuferir The Tuferir is the quartermaster of the Evarir’thilln, and is tasked with the proper maintenance of all military supplies. They have a level head and an eye for organization, keeping sensible records and a simple and centralized armory. The Tuferir also handles all non-standard weaponry or armor requests. LOW COMMAND Evarir’sirame The Evarir’Sirame is the grizzled veteran of the Evariran’thilln. Proven in battle and seen as a competent leader among their peers, the Evarir’Sirame is a junior officer in the Evarir’thilln, capable of commanding small contingents of Evariran and more often being organized into specific squads, or hanses. ENLISTED Evarir’ceru The Evarir’Ceru are the proud and honored members of the Evariran. Their ferocity in battle, the tenacity for victory, and their undying loyalty makes them the epitome of enlisted evariran. They are the elite evarir, proven to be the highest echelon of soldiery and act as a model to the Enlisted below them. Evarir’silir The Evarir’Silir are the backbone of the Evarir’thilln. They make up the main battle line and are capable and effective evariran, following orders willingly and obediently. They serve as the rank-and-file evariran and are tirelessly training themselves as the protectors of our Silver City. Evarir’ihnsil The Evarir’Ihnsil is the rank at which an evarir is considered a full member of the Evarir’thilln. They have taken their oaths of loyalty, assumed their place as a guardian of the Silver City, and have passed their preliminary training courses. The Evarir’Ihnsil will take on more rigorous training courses, and under specific circumstances, be assigned to a mentor for designated specialized training. Evarir’thull The Evarir’thull is the recruit of the Evarir’thilln. They have yet to prove themselves as worthy guardians of the Silver City, and have taken no oaths binding them under the Banner of Haelun’or. They will be put under basic training courses to determine their worth, and have no authority to enforce the laws of the Silver City. _______________________________________________________ ROSTER SENIOR COMMAND Parir’thill Rael Ith’ael Annilir Saeros Vesalius HIGH COMMAND Tilruir Deithwen Addanir (Nealuir) Lamruil Alaenre (Tuferir) Salazar Elibar’acal LOW COMMAND Evarir’sirame Talos Rhonir ENLISTED Evarir’ceru Evarir’silir Resmira Centrella Talimeracahe Evarir’ihnsil Andria Ith'ael Evarir'thull Fenris Cross _______________________________________________________ Furthermore, it is required that all current or past Evarir’thilln re-submit a form of enlistment to the office of the Annilir. 19. Helton Durrandon strode into the council chambers, waving his hand for them to sit as he enters. He grunts and takes a seat at the head of the table, looking over the detailed map of the Stormlands laid out before him. Talks of trivial matters fill the first half hour of the meeting before the King finally moves onto the matters of state. "Troop placement. We will be positioning five thousand Stormswords in the garrison here at Storm’s End, along with two thousand of our heavy horse. Send our light horse and infantry to Bronzegate under the command of my brother, Bracken.” Several of the councillors nod and a messenger takes his leave to deliver the orders. The King continues: “Our defeat at the hands of a coalition of Westerosi Kings will not be forgotten. We were cursed for overreaching in our ambitions, and we will not make the same mistake again. Our borders must be solidified and protected, our country re-stabilized. What news of the Dornish incursions?” Helton looks to his Spymaster, Lord Drayton, who responds in turn, “The foreign Rhenyar people have consolidated their forces and have made no move against the remaining Andals in the west. Word has also reached us that large numbers of refugees are fleeing the country in favor of the Stormlands or the Reach. They come through the Prince’s Pass, my liege.” The King grunts and shakes his head, “Send a letter to Lord Dondarrion. Instruct him to strengthen the border against these Dornish refugees. I will not have squatters resting upon our good soil, and I won’t have their lords crossing into our Marches.” “Of course, my lord,” Stannis the Steward says, “Furthermore, the King of the Rock has sent a delegate… to request entry into your court, sire. King Tommen’s brother. His intentions so far are unknown.” Helton grunts a bit louder and sighs, speaking in a sarcastic yet annoyed tone, “So amusing to see the Westerlands come to grovel as soon as our war ends. Let him enter, but find out his purpose. I would not have a Lion roaming my halls without his intentions known.” And with that, the King allows the Council to finish their less important matters without his attendance. Calling upon his son, Roland, he departs the council chambers for his own room, and confides with him on more private matters of ruling. ___________________________________________________________________ Troop Deployment Storm’s End 5000 Heavy Infantry (Garrisoned) 2000 Heavy Cavalry (Garrisoned) Bronzegate Commanded by Lord Bracken Durrandon 3000 Light Infantry (Garrisoned) 2000 Light Cavalry (Garrisoned) Summerhall Commanded by Prince Roland Durrandon 4000 Heavy Infantry (Garrisoned) 2000 Light Infantry (Garrisoned) 1500 Light Cavalry (Garrisoned) Blackhaven 500 Light Cavalry (Full Upkeep) ___________________________________________________________________ Treasury Starting Funds: 1250 Troop Maintenance: -870 Remaining Funds: +380 ___________________________________________________________________ A letter arrives to the March of House Dondarrion, sealed with the sigil of House Durrandon. ___________________________________________________________________
