  2. *a dove flies into Lin'everal, holding a scroll within it's claws. If caught, the scroll reveals to have long, cursive lettering in a light blue ink, information all over the page* Name: Hiylu Lysiloma ((MCName)): Ionmaster Origins of your birth, and your place of living: Aegis (Late Aegis, maybe after Laurelin fell? This is due to her being 80, and as I asked around the community, this is what I got :P) I currently don’t live anywhere, not feeling the need for a lin at the moment, though, if this is thought to be ma’ayla or at the very least ayla of an application into Lin’everal, I would like yalir inside the ma’leyu cihi of the Mali’aheral. NOTE: I am not aver or an avern, nor am I confused. I just didn’t wish to tie myself to a place filled with impure or lesser people than the Mali’aheral. How can you declare you are Mali'thill? I can proclaim that I am Mali’thill due to my long ears, my fair, slightly gold tinted skin, my eyes, and my hair. Though, these are physical attributes towards showing that I am Mali’thill. There are many other ways I can show that I am Mali’thill both in my body and mind. Why do you wish to become a citizen of our cihi? It was a combination of thirst of knowledge, dislike of being around slack-jawed IMBECILES and out of sheer boredom. You cannot imagine how HARD it is to find a PROPER person to speak to in Leumalin. It’s all, ‘The humans will kill us all!’ or ‘Get out of my way, high elf.’ It seems that mali cannot be civil towards us! And then there’s the books! Ah, how I detest how few GOOD books they have, it’s like they want their whole population to be filled to the brim with mali who don’t even know how to count. What is your personal vision for our blessed race? To keep, restore, make, and hide knowledge for and from the world. We need to keep knowledge to keep we Mali’Aheral strong, and pure. We need to restore knowledge to keep it from falling into the darkness of stupidity. We need to make knowledge and add to it to make sure that future generations of Mali’Aheral are more intelligent than the last generation. We need to hide knowledge so that it might not fall into the wrong hands, for knowledge is power, and power can destroy, and not let unwritten history be burned as it has since before I was born. What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you? Maehr’sae Hiylun’ehya means to me, the strength of the Mali’Aheral, why we are the Blessed of Malin. We, unlike the tree worshiping Mali’Ame or the moon-worshiping Mali’Ker, do not look to ‘Sky Beings’ for help, we look to ourselves, our own powers, be them magic, knowledge, or simply reading, to help with problems. We further develop our culture, further evolve our people for the Mali’thill, not the impure. What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: Taelu ito yalir. “To learn is to live.” It’s a phrase I made, I know it might be simple, due to my sadly limited grasp on the elven language, but it still speaks something to me. When I started my campaign to learn more about the world around me, I never thought what would happen. What happened was I found what it meant for me, to live. Without knowledge, I would not be ‘living’ per se, due to my mind not trying to work around a problem, or a new language even. To have a constantly working mind is to live constantly, without dull moments (even if the dull moments might be exciting for others). What is the subject of the first book you may submit to the college? There are many subjects I could submit into the college. Math, writing, language, history, philosophy, riddles... though I do think that my own autobiography will do, no? Or maybe a book of riddles? What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the Anthos Highway together? Now, it could be one of two things. Oem, he or she could be kidnapped, enslaved or whatnot (as it is common for uruks to go and kidnap, enslave, and kill mali, though not necessarily in that order), or, he or she could be traveling of free will. I would try to talk some sense into him or her after the uruk and the valah have left, though, if it was the latter as unlikely it would be that a mali’aheral would venture far from Lin’everal, though, stranger things have happened, I would think he or she’d start calling them it’s ‘llir’, or maybe he or she has bonded to his possible kidnappers, as it happens if a kidnapped person is around them for too long ((I am talking about Stolkholm syndrome, look here if you wish to know more about this unfortunate phenomenon of the mind: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome)). At this point, I would either just stop talking to him or her, and begin to ignore the mali completely, as it WOULD most likely be past redemption or I’d try to convince them otherwise. However, if he or she was enslaved/kidnapped, I would try to free him or her, however unlikely it would be that it was enslaved, due to most Mali’thill living within Lin’everal, as it would be assumed. Why would we want to live anywhere else? Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the mali’aheral? *this field is left blank* [OOC]: "() shows a comment on something, (())shows OOC

  6. OOC Information MC Name: Ionmaster~ Have you read and fully understood Kharajyr lore?: Yus! Have you read and fully understood the Kharajyr application rules?: Yus! Do you understand and accept that the Kharajyr application team may revoke this application in the future if they deem it necessary?: I do! Do you agree to both follow and uphold Kharajyr lore throughout your time in the Kharajyr?: Yes! Tell us one unique fact about Kharajyr lore, culture or history that you know.(We will check for plagiarism!): Metztli liked to kidnap babies and kittens of Ocelots and used weird daemon magics to make some crazy cat things that have a taste for homicide (who doesn’t?) and hearts (have I told you that I love kharajyr?) 0w0 IC Information RP Name (This includes your character’s prefix): Si’Janehsi Character Sub-race: Kha’Cheetrah Character appearance (Including age and gender): Si’Janehsi stands at 6'0", slender, but slightly muscular, due to years of running and exercise. Her fur is a darker gold, with black spots all across it. Her hair is usually cut to a medium length and is a deep brown. She has a very dignified and confident look to her most of the time. Her face is however, usually formed into a disapproving scowl, and frown often, not very much of a happykha’ unless on the odd day or so. She is considered slightly attractive by kharajyr standards, that is, when she’s not scowling, and then she looks like Medusa on a good day. She is fluffy too! Her claws are like the color of polished ivory, and are sharp as knives. She is about 25 years old, female (duh), and likes da guiez. What is the personality of your character like?: Janehsi is somewhat disapproving of others, let them be kharajyr, or apes. She is often disapproving due to their actions, and is often nicer towards the more intelligent kharajyr. Her actions can be described as energetic, quick, and often, but not always, precise in some way. She likes to take challenges, and will often go up against things that are CLEARLY too much for her to handle just to see what would happen. This often does lead her to trouble, but it’s all in the attempt to satisfy her curiosity. She has a fascination with sharp objects, particularly daggers, of which she finds easier to use rather than a bulky sword. She can have a good sense of humor, though sometimes, though not always, it can be sadistic, finding things such as watching an ape squirm in pain as he or she is tortured to be funny. She also has an unexplainable hate towards rabbits. She doesn’t know why, but she just HATES them. Biography (If you are applying as a kitten, please only state the name of your parents/siblings) Janehsi was born 25 years ago, to a small family. Her lineage was (mainly) pure Kha’Cheetrah, with some Leparda mixed in here and there. But, for the most part, she was pure cheetrah. Her father was a farmer, mother a general wise woman in the way that she could help heal those with say, the right herbs. She tended to be around her mother more often than not, due to a mix of curiosity, admiration, and wonder of this Kharajyr female. Her mother treated her like a student, teaching her of Metztli, the kharajyr, and more importantly, how to cook. Cooking was an important part of their lives, due to her father being a farmer. She learned what type of herbs was good to eat when, say, you had an upset stomach, or you were feeling ill. This led to her being able to go through the jungle, and pick out herbs for her mother. She did, however, begin to age, like all things do, and before she went into the trials, her munna was killed in an accident. It involved her searching for more herbs, and, sadly, she fell to her demise after tripping over into a pit. This, came at as a surprise to Janehsi at first, and she refused to think that her munna was dead, and locked herself in the den, waiting for her munna to come home. However, weeks passed, the trials drew closer, and she went back out, having gotten over her munna’s loss. She, then began to train. What she learned was basically all with combat with smaller weapons, like daggers for instance. She did pass the trials, and then went on with her new adult life. Several years passed by, she went away from Asulon, Elysium, Kalos, with the kharajyr and here they are, in Anthos. She soon found out that her patta stayed behind in Kalos, leaving the kharajyr. This, didn’t come as a surprise to her, him being quite territorial over his land and his farm. And so here, she is, on Anthos, a survivor in more ways than one. Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr: Well, currently, she is a messenger of a sort, though, over time, I OOC’ly would want her to become a priest. However, this is all up in the air, and from past experiences, it turned out that my kharajyr really got nowhere and died horribly. *points out Jinahe, the explosive kharajyr, Kajien, death by eating something he was allergic to, and Jhaduunas, the severed head* Character’s strengths/weaknesses: She, like most Cheetrah, is fragile, and cannot take big hits from things such as maces, hammers, axes, though she is durable enough to not explode if she falls from a tree. *looks to Jinahe* She also isn’t that strong, and cannot lift up too heavy of objects. She can carry a bundle of firewood, though not something like a boulder. As for her strengths, she’s quite energetic, moving around quickly, and then there’s her speed. This allows her to basically outrun most things, such as orcs when needed. There’s also her small size, which can lead to be a strength and a weakness in several different ways. One of the weaknesses being that she’s easily beaten in combat (this does tie in with fragility). Please provide a screenshot or 3D render of your character’s skin: Don't worry! Princeton gave me da skin over skype :P Proof: [7:22:24 PM] *** Princeton ~ sent Desmeres.png *** Dere you go. Situational Roleplay Questions 1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you... How does your character react? Janehsi bit down on the neck of the rabbit within her maw. Oh how wonderful rabbit blood tasted. And it was particularly amusing as she tortured the thing, before it died. She cut it very slowly. Oh, of course it made a mess, but itmeant that she’d have rabbit jerky for a bit. How she loved meat... especially rabbit meat! But she hated the things- when they were living of course! She had no problem with the bodies. But, as she ran around the road, and then was confronted by humans, all she could do was scowl. How hungry these humans looked. Skin and bone, that’s what they were, their armor sat awkwardly upon their thin, malnutrition frames. She, not wanting to deal with a fight right now, drops the rabbit, and bolts off in the other direction. Later, she hears the humans fighting over the scraps, swords hitting one another, screams of death and injury coming from them. Her curiosity reached its peak at this point, and she went back, to find two of the three humans dead, and the rabbit gone. It appears that apes did not have any honor at all, to Janehsi. But, with her curiosity satisfied, she walked back over to her home, rabbit less. 2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr. How does your character react? Janehsi walked into the temple. She always liked that place. It was very peaceful. Well, besides the sacrifices that happened there, but she counted those as necessary. However, there was one thing that wasn’t peaceful. And that was a kharajyr walking in on another kharajyr who was stealing the SACRED stones. And this is what was happening. Janehsi held herbreath, her mind trying to find out WHY her friend was doing this. All thequestions, all the answers, none of them made sense. However, she did draw her dagger, it barely heard over the sound of the jungle outside. She crouched down, crawling over towards her friend. He was blissfully unaware of her, until she placed the point right on his back. “Muuv awnd yu die, trayt’awr.” she hissed, sounding dead serious. He gulped, opening his mouth slightly, then closed it. “Puut da stuuns bawk...” she ordered, her friend carefully puttingthe stones away. He then turned around, looking at her with pitiful eyes.“Janehsi... ple’awse... Iss’a dun’t waunt tu ge’awt sacri’fieced...” he begged, her blinking tears from her eyes. “Janehsi wunt ke’awl yu.. yu’ah we’awl besacri’fieced tu Metztli.” To this, her friend grabbed her hand, a yelp coming from her as he shoved it forwards, into his chest. SPLURK. That was the noise her feline ears heard when the blade sunk into his chest, blood squelching out of the wound as he pushed it deeper into his chest. “Iss’a dunt... waunt tu besacri’fieced...” he mumbled, barely louder than a whisper as he fell back, onto the floor, dead. She looked at her dead friend, tears streaming down her face, her jaw agape as her gaze slowly moved towards her bloodied dagger. She then ran, trying to find guards. She told them what HE did, and what happened to his body. They grudgingly agreed to this, and they soon disposed of the body, hidden within the jungle, within a nameless grave, never to be seen again. 3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you. How does your character react? Janehsi looked towards the dwarf as he shouted his vulgar insults towards her, using a very colourful and sadly, ignorant words to do so. The vulgarity increased as she walked away from him. Then, she snapped. Faster than an arrow (metaphorically), she spun around, and stomped her way towards him. She was roughly a foot and several inches taller than the stout being; he glared up at her defiantly. She is skinny, unlike this well-muscled and clearly strong dwarf. She does, however, rise up her paw to strike him, and he flinches slightly as she does so. Ivory claws are now revealed, her arm swinging down to meet his face. However, the dwarf screamed for help, humans and elves looking over. ‘Oh great, witnesses.’ she thought bitterly as she slashed at his arm, crimson blood flowing from it as it easily pierced the skin of this rugged dwarven man. He yelped in pain, thus signaling that she had to run as fast as she could before becoming a spotted and soft rug. She spun around, jumping on all fours as she bolted away, running from the horde of angry apes. 4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed. How does your character react? Janehsi coughed as she ran around, hearing the screaming of the kharajyr. Fire was everywhere; it appeared as if nothing was safe from the ever-hungry flames. She looked to a building nearby, seeing the corpse of two kittens, their bodies quickly being consumed by the flames. Tears welled up in her eyes as she watched, but then looked away, not able to stand the sight of those two kittens, being burned. She ran towards a building, and ran inside, hearing the screams within. She coughed, crouching down on the ground, her elbow protectively over her mouth as she crawled along. Within, she saw a kitten- one of the Tla’s kittens, and her friend; a childhood friend. She looked at the two of them, the kitten noticing her. It ran towards Janehsi, trying to reach out to get grabbed. Janehsi grabbed the kitten, her friend still not noticing her. She screamed for her friend, but he couldn’t hear her. He went further inside the house, looking for a way out in vain. The flames were getting larger, the roof collapsing where her friend used to be standing. She couldn’t stay her much longer. So, she picked up the kitten, and ran outside of the building, burns all over both of their bodies. She ran towards the river, away from the flames, and sat down on the bank, watching the flames rise, screams of the dying kharajyr ringing in her ears like a church bell.
