all the scriptures and dogmata and stuff were defined long after his time, and the basic premise of it(monotheism, the four brothers, etc.) was literally the server creation lore. al’khazar was built with a cathedral with a giant cross on it before the server was even released – and you had priests since basically day one

that’s one of the reasons why it’s rly dumb to **** on canonism being too unoriginal or not fitting in with the rest of the server etc. – we just took the server lore and ran with it. not our fault that everything canonism was built off was later retconned.

Somebody needs to step up and make a Writers' Guild, who can write a handwritten newspaper if they cooperate together.

Having multiple Guilds sponsored by certain nations actually works the same as it did in the times before a Typewriter, with governments putting pressure and money into the writer's groups and the groups thereby providing both news for the people and almost propaganda-like reviews and opinions that were made to shift the mindset of the readers toward the government, all because these groups and publishers were sponsored by them and paid to do their job.

It makes more sense than an attempt at being droll with an informal news outlet that is completely uncharacteristic of the setting and time of LoTC. But that's just my thoughts.
