Farley looked around at his fellow guardsmen to in case one of them were to give their opinion first. After a brief moment of thought, and seeing that none others were speaking, he leaned forward in his chair to address the group. "Of course we know human supremacy to be part of the Creator's design for this world, for the reasons that you have already brought up. Though on the topic of whether or not this provides a right to man to subjugate the rest of His creations, I believe the Creator to be indifferent. Saint Thomas and Saint Owyn are revered not for their physical conquests but their conquests of mind. For example, during times of Saint Thomas, the Faith was its strongest, reinforced by the piety of citizens of the first empire, especially members of the White Rose, as well as the extermination of those who turned against the True Faith. It is for his duty in upholding the Faith which Saint Thomas is revered for. In addition, those are but two of many saints. Other holy men, such as Saint Godwein, used charitable actions and kind words to spread the Faith, showing those that doubted the Church that behind the conquerors which they lived in fear of were men that would lead them back onto the path peacefully and help them recover from troubled times brought by Saint Thomas or Saint Owyn. This shows us that to the Creator, it is not the method by which one serves his Faith which is more revered, but how well he does so." He leans back, allowing the next speaker to go.
