    i cannot get past "loading terrain"  when logging into lotc (ONLY lotc i've tried other severs and they were fine) and the crash logs when i force quit out say [22:20:33] [Client thread/INFO]: Connecting to mc.lotc.co., 25565

    What's going wrong?

      Not much can be done, though next time you're in an encounter with them you should record it so they don't get away with it twice! :)

    There's a lot of water on this map. We need fish people or bird people or any greek mythological water-born playable races you can fish out of your imagination (pun intended). That or maybe bird people with hollow bones and feathers that use the glide feature in the new update.

    About childish players, I regret to inform you we do have kids on the server. That's... why it's PG-13. Heck, I joined when I was 11. However, we don't encourage immaturity, and our whitelisting is pretty selective, so you don't have to worry about having conversations with babies "wh0 tak lyk dis" or anything.

    Dude the torture on this server is actually pretty cool. That is, uh, if you're into zombies and total edgelords. I'd definitely recommend joining though. The average player is anywhere from 12-20, so I'm sure you'd fit in fine. About the darker themes, I'd say you should look through the wiki and the accepted lore. There are some pretty creepy things on this server, but the creepiness factor is really subjective and overall the server is pretty light hearted. I mean, sure, we've got undead and torture and a few murder caves here and there, but we also have giant bee hives and pumpkin kings, so...

    I have a cool idea for a monster that I know I'm not going to submit, but you guys are all pretty good at nitpicking and improving lore, so I thought I could write it down and get some feedback?

    They're humanoid monsters inspired by classic vampires, sirens, and other such. When normal, they look like humans but with pale, paper colored skin, and their sclera and hands are black. They also have black blood which I guess would be acidic and give a persona a chemical burn. Their special ability is that they can summon arms from their back that don't harm them if they get cut off or attacked and can stretch for long distances (UNCANNEY VALLEY), but they get exhausted quickly while doing so and will pass out if they summon too many. Thoughts??

      I don't think you quite know what low and high fantasy mean. LotC takes place in a world uncomparable to the real world, making it high fantasy. Something like Harry Potter is low fantasy, since it takes part in a world comparable to ours.

    Sounds neat. I have a lot of characters that live by the sea, so it'll be fun to interact with these guys.

    maybe change them into half-insects. The whole hierarchy will work better. Plus, they could use their creepy bug pheromones to seduce people.

    It's... Good, but it's kind of unnecessary, isn't it? The same roleplay could be achieved with races that already exist. It'd just be gross, because, well, cannibals are gross. I like the idea of the hierarchy, and the way their society works, but i feel like that wouldn't be well suited for snake people. Perhaps, instead, they should be more lubbock-like (insect-y)? Or maybe instead you should have their culture resemble the behavioral patterns of different snakes, which are generally more solitary animals than described here. Good concept, needs improvement.
