    *The Grand King inspects the white anvil carefully, he places some objects near the anvil, but not touching it and observes its reactions. He doesn't expect much, but he trys anyway. The items are: 1 Axe 1 potato 1 diamond 1 helmet 1 large rock 1 compass ((Compasses are RP right?)) 1 map ​1 piece of coal 1 hammer* ((I saw this and thought it was worth a try :P))

    *A letter is sent to the human kingdoms, stamped at the bottom is the Iron seal of the Grand King* I shall keep this sort, we have your king. Answer to our demands and he shall remain unharmed. 1: We demand a cease to the hostilities between our nations. There are bigger threats in the land 2: We demand the right to enforce the Kjell act in human lands 3: We demand the right to bear arms in human lands, regardless of location If these demand are not met you may find your king a foot or two shorter

    Thank you Ptah for saying in part what's been on my mind. Personally conflict RP gets stale fast, hell if it were solely up to me I would just leave the ******* high elves alone. Thing is I can't get two words in before hearing one on idiot yell Dungrim, another cursing the high elves and the last yelling delver king. I do not agree with bottling up the dwarves unique abilities due to the "conflict group" however. I believe that a solution can be found otherwise. My biggest gripe is that people are to concerned over power and possessions rather then having fun RP. I am getting tired of it, one end not wanting conflict and the other ONLY doing it. Unless a solution can be found I can't imagine the kingdom getting better Thanks Ptah

    No one is blaming you for wanting to be careful with the art, if you feel uncomfortable teaching it to certain people then don't. Thing is try to be a "bit" less pessimistic. Currently BOTH of our unique racial arts are in a state of limbo, stuck with you at college. The only reason some people ask you in OOC for it is because thats the only way we can contact you right now. Also, don't assume that all the dwarves want it for being "more powerful" I thought it would be a lot of fun and I didn't want it to die out/ stay in this limbo. That's why I wanted it anyways. If you wait to long for just the right person to teach then the art WILL stay in limbo. And what happens when they decide to teach someone? (when they can of course) you can't monitor a whole races unique RP ability, to do so is just dampening it for the rest of the dwarves. You want a fun art? Make it so. Drop the student if they use it militarily. Hell, we can even pass a law banning its over use in military activitys. Long story short, there are still many options available for you Dave, just don't keep it locked up in this state of limbo

    Uhhhhh yea, this. Also I like Ptah's suggestion to me. Use it to advance our technology to the state the dwarves should have while still retaining the fantasy theme. We could have a unique racial trait going for us with this. Ptah's example was this <18:22:42> "PtahWithin": Use runesmithing to accomplish mechanically impossible feats <18:23:01> "PtahWithin": Such as making it repel water with great force <18:23:08> "PtahWithin": allowing you to make stone ships <18:23:28> "PtahWithin": Which can float by the sheer force of the rune

He turns to the pair who delivered the message and the anvil* "For dis ah give me t'anks tu t'a ministry, long 'ave we sought t'a return o-our 'istory an dis act o-goodwill has shed positive loight on our friends at t'a ministry. Ah understand t'a 'esitance ye may 'ave 'ad tu return such a valuable artifact tu us, but I assure ye we much appreciate it. I am sure dat t'a friendship between t'a Grand Kingdom and t'a ministry shall bloom, ah look forward tu any further correspondents Ah may even 'ave a few o-me own scholars come tu discuss knowledge wit' ye"

    Then respectfully I request that next time you make and effort to contact the individuals responsible for said actions and discuss it in a civil manor rather then posting these passive aggressive statements. Did you bother to look at each raiders VA's in question before posting this? The fact that this was a blanket statement to all dwarves, or so it appeared, makes it worse. Not only are you giving a negative statement, but your targeting a whole race/playerbase for the actions of a few.

    I wasn't even part of this but I have to say, shouldn't you try and contact the players supposedly in the wrong to discuss it with them instead of posting passive aggressive threads on the forums in, what appears to be, the hopes of damaging there reputation?

    They were a large dominant military force in Oren. They were fairly powerful too. Edit: Also they left before Magroka was demoted, just the whole ordeal surrounding it contributed to his demotion as well I believe. RP'ly they all got on a boat and sailed away. For all the good players lost in their ranks we give good will and wish them the best
