About the monks, they are not a guilt that is frazzling out. They've been around since… A long time. Just because the quiet doesn't mean they're inactive.
About the last month market… I wouldn't say that it was unsuccessful. It had over 100 people in attendance and it was only neutral because it was at the cloud temple and it was the first time in almost 2 years that it had happened. It was by far anything but a failure it was an experiment, it was fun. It might've been a little bit of a cookie-cutter event, but like I said it was just to test the waters.
About the monks not being comparable to the main races… That might've been a stretch you're right, but it doesn't mean that they are deserving of having events hosted for them and by them.

Sure the guild has been smaller, but never inactive completely. Without Monks you have a big chunk of the server gone, left for mechanics. The Monk market was a great success, not sure where everyone is getting their information but being there, everyone loved it and everyone went home happier because of the small event. Maybe we should keep them seasonal, as to keep repetition out of the equation, but other than that the event is a great one the server kinda needs from time to time. Either way, the criticism here is bad and biased, the Monk events are loved, especially that last Monk Market we did in Vailor was a huge success. Wiseacres is a creative genius, with our mixed power we will surely bring you all a great Monk Market so stop bitching lol. Even a shitty monk market is better than no event at all that day, so chill with your "REMOVE THE MARKET" crap. That's the same attitude that removed antags from the server now look where we are.
The biggest issue with the lotc community is that for the most part, when something fails they want it completely removed. Thus the magic plugin, the undead, and every other event that failed. Instead of fixed. Then you're left with nothing. A negative something is better than a positive nothing. Just enjoy what we work on, and give us actual ideas instead of snobby 1 sided responses that all totally suck btw.

Seems like an actual idea you had. The majority enjoyed the market, you are trippin' my friend. And to be frank, this is one of those events you don't have to go to if you don't want. So if you don't want cool items and a bunch of rp then sure, don't go. But everyone stayed because it was fun, thus having over 100 players active in the area at the time enjoying what we put together. The Monk Markets were in no way a failure like you're saying. Very false information you seem to be using to get your opinion across.
