Magara finds one of the papers near her vacation home on Bertha and adds it to her collection of notices and fliers. She sorts it into the 'good' pile with a small nod despite not being a druid herself.

Why would you try to rob the same place repeatedly and in a quick time span tho? It isn't like their goodies suddenly regenerated, gotta wait. And the thing is... Villains who give good roleplay, abide by the rules, and are non-toxic don't mind waiting between attacks to let people rest. Heck the villains use that time to gather up their own supplies, plan things out, or even go and cause trouble elsewhere.

"850 minas."

Magara passes by again and states "600 minas."

Magara Vulnir looks around in confusion before chimming out "I'd happily give 500 minas for that spot, you didn't mention how much to increase each bid by though."

A note is sent to Theodal in response to his notice. "There are some great books at the Drauger (dunno how to spell it) library if you wish to read up while searching for a teacher. Top floor, south-ish wing across from the entrance and way at the back of the wing. Rather nice selection really."

A) have to be a certain level to get certain woods B) I checked there and they only have oak trees at the first resource spot and spruce on the island so people that want jungle, birch, acacia, or dark oak are rather screwed, even more so if they're not a lumberjack

This explains why I can never find any... Can we please get an option to buy things from the admin shops to use? I often need logs for building and can't find any for sale. I need gold for alchemy shears and can't find any gold for sale either since everyone just sells their stuff to the admin shops it seems.

To my esteemed friends, family, and enemies: It seems I too must write words onto many a page in frustration. You see, earlier today I spent time sitting next to a grave deep in thought. I asked advice from those I trusted and despite what they said I decided to try and do what I thought was right. I took pity on this man. Yet it seems what I thought was a good gesture to help someone in pain is now being used to try and condemn an entire group of people. Yes I wrote a letter to Azoth but I did not do such as a kidnapper or murderer as he's now trying to claim but rather a parent who couldn't imagine thinking my child was gone. I had nothing at all to gain. Yes, Alyss Hawksong lives safe and sound. She has a family now who watches over her and cares for her. They love her as if she was their own but after seeing how willing Azoth is to anger large groups consistently, the fact that he had Cheza's home attacked and her murdered upon her own lawn, it was decided the infant would be safest away from it all. After all how could this man raise a child and keep her safe? Cheza Stirling is indeed dead so don't cancel your parties or celebrations just yet. I was an unfortunate witness to the incident... I was in Cheza's home with her discussing how she was afraid and debating what to do when we heard a commotion outside. Cheza raced to the entrance and found she had difficulty opening it, they were trying to trap us inside so we'd starve or be crushed. For my sake Cheza pushed her way out and was greeted with a blade. I had to listen to her cry out in pain, had to listen to her talk about being afraid and not wanting to die. When people moved away from the entrance I peered out at the group to see Cheza at the feet of Azoth Hawksong, a man she had loved, and bleeding out from a wound tearing her shoulder in two. I used magic that she had taught me to try and ease her pain only for her to pass out. As she lay on the grass, looking as if she was already dead, I then saw the elf named Ac'Aelu decapitate her. I sent the box to Azoth containing Cheza's head to remind him of the pain he caused my friend. As for the infant body included I did not murder any child. I never could do something so horrible. I instead scoured towns for any place that had just been attacked or raided until I found one that already looked similar to Alyss. I used what surgical skills I have to alter the rest and allowed the already present damage and decay to hope that it would serve as an adequate double. My plan worked obviously and as one last favor to Cheza I found her daughter a loving home. A safe home. Azoth claims that the bird who delivered the letter is proof that Cheza somehow tricked him and survived but there is a simple explanation for that as well. I knew Cheza had a flock of these vultures, each one raised from the egg and a reminder of her druidic days. I set most of them free but one clung to me. The smallest, a runt of a clutch, had an injured leg. If I had forced her away she'd be dead. I kept the bird and nursed her back to health thinking she'd then fly away but she stayed and so now she delivers my letters for me and gives me company. If Azoth had listened to my letter and set up a meeting we could have discussed this peacefully. I would have explained why I hid his daughter away and how she'll now have a blessed life with a couple who found they could have no children of their own. Instead he uses my act of kindness to try and call for violence on a group that is not involved... I say to you, Azoth Hawksong, be ashamed. Is this the sort of legacy you'd want your daughter to see? That someone tried to help you, tried to reach out a helping hand and reunite you, only to be met with a dagger sent towards innocents? Take back your words before more blood is spilled.

Magara reads over the open letter before setting it back down where she found it and walking away with a sigh. "Well that explains why the three letters I sent to those Ascended asking for a healer to come help us all got taken from the birds but ignored... They too busy twiddling their thumbs in some fancy tower while us normal folks had to frantically work to save that man from dying."

As someone with a dark elf named Magara I approve of this.

Do you like villain roleplay? Yes, without some form of conflict on occasion things get dreadfully boring. What's your favorite part about villain roleplay? If done well it stands out from the other more peaceful things that can happen in RP. Adds excitement. Changes up stories. There's a variety of things that can be done so each bump into someone can be different. What's your least favorite part about villain roleplay? Too many people use it simply to take pixels from others. It's really obvious as well who these people are because they often have short, poor emotes, rush into conflict happening, try to get pvp if they can, and if not they'll tell you to d40. That for me ruins things completely. Then you also have the issue of people such as holy orders and guards insisting that if you are against them you have to lose. This reflects in their emotes as well as sometimes they'll outright powergame to ensure the "bad guy" dies or will complain oocly about the other side. Do lockpicks contribute to villain roleplay? No. I have yet to see a lockpick used in a way that provided RP, such as kidnapping someone, but instead have only seen them used to get more pixels. Thus I feel lockpicks have a negative contribution to the server as they encourage the mentality that getting pixels is the more important thing. Coming home and finding you've been robbed adds zero RP to the player other than a moment of trying to find out what they lost. Are heists still a good concept? I have yet to see one done so dunno. What do you feel could be changed to make villain roleplay better? Discourage or even punish people who only use "villainy" to attack others for items. If you want to rob someone of a neat RP item then sure, go ahead, but it should be strongly encouraged to let the victim live at the end or at least keep their other things. Remind people that just because we call it villain roleplay this doesn't mean the good guy has to always win. Let the roleplay decide. As it stands, do people correctly RP villain roleplay? Some do, some are amazing at villain roleplay. But sadly there is a large number of players that either see villainy as a way to get rich quick or see villains as players they should be able to repeatedly beat up to boost their own ego. I would say most villain players do RP correctly but most "victims" or opposing forces have the wrong attitudes about things.

A certain Izkuthii sits upon a boat, allowing the gentle rocking of the waves to soothe the slumbering infant in her arms. Her flock of loyal vultures bring the woman a copy of each note that goes by but it is Nyn's note that causes the mouthless face to let out delighted peals of laughter. She nudges the male at her side for him to read over the various writings as well. "I wonder how they'll try to get out of this now, any bets?"

A small response is tacked up for anyone who saw Heial's words to also see! "I was staying out of this squabble now as I have enough problems but I find your actions to again be shameful. In time past I sought out the Ascended to become an ally multiple times. I offered aid, goods, and anything else I could do to help. In return for my work all I asked from the Ascended was safety and for them to keep hush about me. Near instantly the Ascended violated these terms as countless members drew weapons against me, spread any and all information they had about me, and disrespected me as if I was below them despite myself emptying my own vault to provide the Order with enchanted wards as Heial requested. Wards that they never even brought to me for maintenance and thus are now useless. Because of the Ascended being unable to honor a deal I have found myself under attack multiple times from various people and even creatures. So imagine my horror then when I spotted four Ascended that day, with weapons drawn, entering my home nation and staring me down. I fled to where I knew my child slept and slammed the gate shut behind me out of fear. I didn't even know at the time that Azoth was in the same building until I nearly ran him over on the stairs in my haste to hide. I quietly pleaded with him to leave the gate shut and keep those outside from getting to us. As your lot continued to stay out there I continued to tell him to keep the gate down for I felt otherwise myself and my child would be killed. I was the one who locked herself away to protect my daughter from people who had brought us nothing but trouble and pain. Azoth was just unfortunately in the same building. Keep myself and my daughter out of your writings and our names off your tongue. I grow sick of this poor excuse of an Order and the attempts to indirectly bring my kin harm." The writing goes unsigned!

This exact same thing has happened to me more times than I care to count. My character is a manipulative, selfish, jealous *****. Meanwhile I have a panic attack at the thought of saying something that might be considered slightly rude or at the wrong time and seeming annoying. I have however had people assume that I'm a hateful person because my character is hateful but in reality I purposely made her different from myself like that. I wanted to push a little outside my comfort zone in an attempt to help myself open up a little more and relax about things. I can adore someone oocly but my character attack theirs icly, people sadly forgot sometimes that these things are separate.

Cheza uses a copy of the pamphlet to make a paper crane. "Fancy words are easy to put on paper what matters is if anyone bothers to move those words into actions. Might have something fun to watch if they do so personally I hope so."

Cheza hears of the message as she passes through Linandria on her normal rounds. Snorting softly the elfess mutters to herself "That would be precisely why you shouldn't attack the Rex... Or any leader really. Wonder what went through the fool's mind to make him do such a thing and damn his people." Realizing she probably won't get an answer to that question anytime soon she finds a nice tree to sit under and work on a gift for her daughter.

Only requesting an outfit, specifically this one. Ignore the mask, feel free to turn the shorts into pants if it looks better to you since limited leg space, and while I'd like to see if you can make the hat if that is causing issues/complicated then doesn't have to be on there either. Can pay the full 1,000 or higher if things frustrate you.

Not 100% sure here but I think the Alch fire uses the blaze particles? Not really sure tho how to perfectly simulate them in vanilla thanks to the server's plugins.

Single player potion effects, while very colorful and pretty, don't crash or even lag me. Sadly I didn't think to click either of the details or report so that question goes unanswered for now :/ Was watching an argument and wanted to quickly get back on. The issue here is trying to test removing various mods or settings since that means a lot of potions potentially...
