  7. Everyone can vote for keys/minas, so they get more wealthy than miners. And, I redeemed 5 keys, it gave me just 20 steakes. Easy to tell someone to change their profession when you haven't mastered it. I remind you, that skill points redistribution is a paid service (no, it's not a donation). Why miners must pay, not farmers or lumberjacks? A rhetorical question, no need to answer. Iron is not being sold on every corner yet. Furthermore, beginning miners could always dump prices since they need a good start. But now they simply don't have a choice. As for the trading roleplay, I was suggesting an idea to diversify it in a third point of this post; If there can be pomegranates-apples and iron wires-strings, then there can be different types of ores, some of which would be highly demanded while others would not. But that's more referred to other topic. To sum up there, you're basically offering others not to do what they like more and choose less desired occupation. That's not good, a pretty authoritarian position.
  8. Not only miners are staying idle, other professions depending on mining loots are: smiths, masons, tinkers, enchanters. That's like, half of all professions. Fishers will be added to the list later because they will be lacking of fishing hooks, that's just ridiculous!

I can bypass these limitations. Effectivity is of no matter for me, I'm looking for roleplay, not function.

Although not espionage based, church roleplay can always be interesting!

  11. On Monday, it came to the attention of the Daily Dot’s editorial staff that more than 30 percent of Americans pronounce the word “meme” as “me-me”—a statistic that seems to jibe with a study that claimed that 30 percent of Americans don’t have home access to broadband Internet ( http://bit.ly/1pks2pw )

I got the standard edition for like $12. Even if it lasts like 10 hours thats pretty good value, plus no sub.

  14. As I've written in the survey, LWC must NOT be a donors perk. Everyone deserves a right to protect their reserves from theft and raiding. VIP plots... I'm not the first one with the idea, am I? As an addition I can only think of an XP boost, a small one, 5-10%. Also, what about more emotecolors for VIPs? A cosmetic, eh, but still a nice perk. I'd also like to suggest a one-time donation to turn auto-age off. Can't think of more since I donated not for the perks. Thanks for the opportunity to improve the status.
  15. Platypus. You want broad community's opinion? Make your posts easier to read: shorten them and change color - it is scientifically proved that brain instinctively avoids red color. That is what must be changed first: staff attitude to ordinary players who they meet first time. Anything else goes second. My view is that villain applications must be brought back. I can't imagine how you guys will be removing people from blacklists. You know, they grow up, they mature, they realize what fools they were before. Just like you, me, any of us. Only those who don't do anything don't commit mistakes. Additional "ban apps", just for villain roleplay? You don't want more bureaucracy, do you?
  16. Hello, community. Had nothing to do for these ten minutes and found this forum section. Everyone knows everybody, and I know hardly anyone here. Although few might have already noticed a parvenu here on forums ) Registered on LotC over a year ago, however I've played for a first week then got busy, returned back in May '15. I'm an avid fan of roleplaying, passed through Warcraft 3 and WoW, GTA SA and FRPs, some other MC roleplay servers... Hell, I even participated in World of Tanks SIMS roleplay once, that's some crazy stuff. Ten years in total, and yeah, most of the time I hardly keep myself from using that as an argument ) More elaboration on all this roleplay experience: Favorite themes in roleplay - law and crime, political intrigues and espionage, bureaucracy and town-planning, adventures and exploration. We tend to get in roleplay what we are lacking of in real life ) Oh, and I'm weak at memes )
  17. Criminal organization having a stronghold, you sure? Also, have you read the Charter regulations? They won't let you take a block of land without a solid sum of money and playerbase. I personally stand for supporting any new players' ideas as they have the energy and naivety that can break the wall of scepticism, built by older community members. But here I'd advise you to learn how things work here: you're not given out what you're requesting at first wish, else the majority of the server would have had their strongholds and gangs. If you're still looking for a bandit roleplay, there's plenty of villain organizations who recruit on forums - check it out, then contact the leader and make your proposal.
  18. Nature of the bug: Sometimes /walk slows movespeed not twice but four times, and is unable to be removed - sprint only increases it up to supposed walk speed (x0,5). Although jumping retains normal, as if you were really running or sprinting. First occurrence: 08:40 PM GMT Describe exactly all the actions you took leading up to the bug: Logged in, used /walk, discovered the bug. Perhaps it might depend on the character movespeed on logout? What messages are/aren't you getting that you would/wouldn't get normally : None. Frequency of occurrence: After using /walk - always, until the next login. Are you able to reproduce the bug: Yes.

  20. A brilliant idea, I support it. Not only it would decrease the usage of fast travels, but will also remove excessive amounts of mina from the game.
