  1. Dope. I’m fine with typing a bunch of emotes but at the same time drawing a circle shouldn’t be that long. +1 also can’t wait to see the guide that’s being worked on.

  6. Philip Montalt frowned not at the demands, but out of concern for his son. "May the realms of Man listen to reason. We, all of us, need not fold to the power of one."

  8. Lost for a time since the end of the war, an old Montalt emerged from the midland's woods with a sword in hand, armed and ready to serve his people.
  9. Old Philip Montalt gritted his teeth in anticipation, awaiting this exchange with a great smile.

ill be stuck dming forever but Medium/Spiritualist are so fucking cool dude. like i already love pathfinder because of its allowance for complexity over dnd (which takes a special kind of nerd, its not nearly as open or user-oriented as dnd is), but the occult classes allow for such an awesome character-focused class that really allow you to explore different ideas and paths, particularly as a medium or spiritualist seance's/connects with a different type of spirit that allows them to change what they do and be a different person. super fun

dnd-wise i think gameplay wise sorcerer offers so many fun options to tackle encounters, but paladin is probably one of my favorites to roleplay because it changes not only the character dynamic, but the party dynamic, and really encourages you to roleplay and think/act as your character does, rather than just as a vessel for it. Warlock is really close behind because its very much similar and allows you a ton of options for how you want to make and use your character, and how they behave.

In Pathfinder 1'st edition it would be Magus, almost always a dex build with crit fishing but tbh be a skill or almost skill monkey class and I like it, be a spell caster and I like it. Only the pure martials is what I don't prefer. Special menthion for the bard which just uses performances on large swathes of skill checks as the game progresses.

  11. Kakatoew | The Whistling Walls | Wind and Chaos - A plane of many stone structures, mainly pillars and archways, which howl and streak with gales and winds ranging from sudden, breakneck gusts to lulling, steady breezes. There is no vegetation on in this world and live is mostly magical. Adjacent to Speclaton. [OOC: This post describes RP that occurred via Arcane Displacement and should not be metagamed.] “AAAH, WILL IT STOP!?!” Ever since he had dived headfirst through that mystical window hours before, Veluc had regretted his decision in conducting the ritual. What was once meant to be a “simple excursion” to explore a different part of the cosmos had become the second worst thing to happen this day, leading him to great pain and sorrow. Awakening in a twisted maze of stone brick and nothing else but the distant howling of what he assumed to be an exit, the starwalker had thought himself to be in the average dungeon. Despite the constant sound of this unseen current piercing his eardrums, the air around him was as still as a stagnant cavern. With each step he took deeper into the hall, the foreboding walls on each side seemed to close in on him claustrophobically at one moment and open up greatly at the next. All was lost for the longest time as Veluc roamed under endless archways, searching far and wide for his destination. Cursing those who came before him for their misguidance, he was ready to give up… until the howling became greater. Down one pathway in particular did he finally feel closer to this draft of air. Driven by a newfound determination, Veluc followed the intensifying howls from one corridor to the other, the shrill noise eerily growing higher in pitch and louder in volume. His journey culminated in his arrival to a room different from all the others. Shaped similarly to the side of a cheese grater, each wall was riddled with misshapen holes and indents that funneled in dastardly gales from an unseen outside world. His wish to sate his appetite for new sights proved him reckless. Taking just a single step into the room caused one of those strong breezes to send Veluc careening through the room with flailing arms, slamming him flat against the top of a stone wall. Given no chance to recover or even react beyond screaming for help, the adventurer ragdolled back and forth until bruised and broken. Only in defeat did he scribble down another sigil and performed another ritual to escape, unlikely to return to this dreaded realm ever again.

  14. "Real," said Phil Montalt, looking at the paper on his desk after giving it his stamp of approval.
  15. real but not true

  16. After speaking with a gnome about the absurd prices of the local drinks, the old Montalt made his way up the steps to the top of Balian's walls. Wiping blood from his teal hood and sheathing a thanhic blade, he took a brief moment to relax and watch the sunset. "Seven Saint's Days," he whispered underneath his breath in a reminder for the horror he'll soon witness.
