      I just feel like the GMM and all these contests add too much money. I don't see it "fixing" the economy in any way. It changes it but it doesn't fix it in my opinion.

      Simply adding money en masse to any kind of economy is not a solution. It's more of a bandaid on a third degree burn. Time and time again I see game devs simply pump more money into a game's economy in the hopes that it will re-balance itself. In fact, what it does is put a disproportionate value on items and lowers the value of the currency. Plainly, the staff team probably doesn't know enough about economics to "fix" the LotC economy. (Not saying I could either) It was an experiment that simply did not work. Resources become overvalued and under supplied if they are simply sold in bulk to a non existent bank. It is not a solution by any means.
