Simply adding money en masse to any kind of economy is not a solution. It's more of a bandaid on a third degree burn. Time and time again I see game devs simply pump more money into a game's economy in the hopes that it will re-balance itself. In fact, what it does is put a disproportionate value on items and lowers the value of the currency. Plainly, the staff team probably doesn't know enough about economics to "fix" the LotC economy. (Not saying I could either) It was an experiment that simply did not work. Resources become overvalued and under supplied if they are simply sold in bulk to a non existent bank. It is not a solution by any means.
