Well, how much pre-existing lore is used or expanded on by the ET, and how much is created from scratch in order to be different? Existing lore should be explored because it was accepted for a reason; it has potential.

For instance, there's a lot of events you can draw from Shamanism, Ice Witches, Druidism, and so on. Additionally, you can intertwine many of these into event lines where communities can meet further down the line.

The way I see it, the ET exists to bring groups together, and to promote self-sustaining RP environments. It helps when you expose otherwise clandestine lore to the larger player-base, to help communities thrive.

No, no only kidding. I'd like to see many variety of events and not just ones including tragedy, death and fighting. Maybe some peaceful ones. I'd also like things like carnivals etc. 

More bounties. Monsters and  also powerful individuals (powerful battlemage, group of skilled bandits, etc) who are basically rp'd by the event team.
